Without hesitation, the three shadowy servants dissolved into shadowy pools and lted into the darkness. As Lu Yu’s claws in the shadows, they began scouring the city for information.
“Convenient, but there aren’t enough of them,” Lu Yu remarked, satisfied with their obedience, stealth, and tireless efficiency. They were the perfect employees for a ruthless boss.
“It seems I’ll need to find ti to create the remaining seven shadow servants. Good thing I still have the contact number for the Flower and Bird Market owner—he can deliver the materials directly.”
With these mundane matters handled, Lu Yu picked up the handwritten “Awakeners’ Beginner Knowledge” from the talkative Xu Xiaoqing and began reading.
