Inside the Knights of Favonius’ conference room sat many who had co from all over Teyvat to provide support—

From Fontaine, Clorinde and Sigewinne;

from Inazuma, Kujou Sara and Sayu;

from Liyue, Ningguang and Qiqi...

With the aid of these companions, Su Yuan felt that their chances of making it through the twelfth floor of the Spiral Abyss had increased to an epic degree compared to before.

"First of all, for everyone who has rushed to Mondstadt’s aid, please allow , on behalf of the Knights of Favonius and all the citizens of Mondstadt, to express my sincerest gratitude!"

Jean rose from her seat and gave a deep bow to everyone present.

"There’s no need for such formality, Acting Grand Master," Ningguang replied with a gentle smile.

"Fighting against monsters and the Eerie force is sothing every person of Teyvat must face. When one nation is in peril, the others must lend their strength—only through unity can we achieve victory."

"Our current situation," she continued, "is no different from the calamity five hundred years ago, when Abyss monsters poured into the world and every nation ca together to resist them."

Kujou Sara nodded in agreent. "All of Teyvat shares one fate—no one can stand alone."

"Indeed," Jean said, nodding in return.

"Then I’ll spare you all the pleasantries. Although you’ve just arrived in Mondstadt and by right should have ti to rest and recover before our offensive on the Spiral Abyss... ti is running short. We cannot afford to wait any longer. I propose that we depart imdiately for the Spiral at Musk Reef!"

———

By the ti everyone, riding upon Dvalin’s broad back, reached the entrance to Musk Reef’s Spiral Abyss, the afternoon sun was already slanting westward.

It had to be said—the efficiency of the morning had been remarkable, thanks entirely to Dvalin’s incredible speed and his vast wings that made carrying so many passengers easy.

"So this is the Spiral Abyss... I’ve only ever seen it ntioned in intelligence reports," Ningguang murmured thoughtfully as she gazed upon the strange structure before them.

"It’s my first ti seeing it in person."

"Acting Grand Master Jean," Ningguang said after a pause, "if I were to drop the entire Jade Chamber upon this place, just as I once did to subdue the vortex demon Osial... do you think it could completely seal off the entrance to the Spiral?"

Faced with that question, Su Yuan and everyone else present were montarily speechless.

"Ningguang... does she really treat the Jade Chamber like so kind of nuclear weapon?" Su Yuan couldn’t help thinking to himself.

"I will definitely complete the task entrusted to by Her Excellency, and conquer the twelfth floor of the Spiral Abyss," Kujou Sara declared firmly, her expression resolute.

"Sara-sis," Sayu spoke up from beside her, rubbing her sleepy eyes, "so when we go in and start fighting later... can I just take a nap right away?"

"On the way from Inazuma to Mondstadt, this big dragon—Dvalin—flew way too fast! The wind kept howling in my ears the whole ti, I could barely sleep at all..."

"Now I’m really, really sleepy..."

"Hmm... Sayu, you like to sleep too?" Qiqi turned toward her and asked softly.

"When you wake up, do you do stretching exercises?"

"No matter what kind of monsters appear," Clorinde said, already poised for battle, "they’ll all be my opponents in this duel."

"Alright, everyone—are you ready?" Sigewinne said brightly, her voice full of energy.

"If anyone gets injured, I’ll heal you imdiately!"

And with that, after everyone had made their preparations, the group stepped together into the depths of the Spiral Abyss.

The last ti Su Yuan and his companions ca here, their numbers had been too few.

Facing those monsters corrupted by Eerie force, they had no choice but to retreat again and again.

But this ti was different.

Now they had strength in numbers—and not just that, but also several companions empowered by Eerie transformations.

Against this kind of overwhelming force, the slis and hilichurls guarding the floors were nothing but fragile obstacles in their path.

So, cutting their way through battle after battle, Su Yuan’s team advanced smoothly, breaking through layer after layer of enemy defense—until they finally reached the third chamber of the third floor.

And there, waiting for them, was an enemy none of them had expected—

A towering Ruin Guard! (Also known as the "One-Eyed Little Treasure.")

Everyone’s faces grew tense as they stared at the massive ancient machine before them.

Even without the taint of Eerie force, a Ruin Guard was already a formidable and troubleso foe—it represented one of the peak technological creations of Khaenri’ah itself...

Now that it was under the control of the Eerie force, no one could imagine just how terrifyingly powerful a Ruin Guard could beco.

"Everyone, let handle this troubleso one!"

Eula stepped forward, her eyes fixed firmly on the massive chanical giant that was just beginning to stir.

"Ruin Guard," she declared coldly, "you’ve aided the Abyss, brought harm to the innocent, and spread evil across the land... this grudge—I will rember it."

Monts later, the Ruin Guard fully awakened, slowly rising from the ground with a heavy rumble.

At the sa ti, "Eula" entered her Eerie state—her aura flaring with an unsettling power.

Everyone watched anxiously, uncertain what kind of clash was about to unfold between the two.

Su Yuan, however, frowned slightly, thinking to himself: Ruin Guards have extrely high physical resistance—normally, that would counter Eula’s strength.

But since she’s now in her Eerie form... perhaps the outco won’t be so simple this ti.

Yet soon after, the group realized sothing was off.

The Ruin Guard... didn’t seem to show any signs of Eerie corruption at all.

"Wait a second... I just rembered sothing..." Su Yuan said, his tone exasperated.

"Aren’t we all overreacting a bit? We seem to have forgotten that the Eerie power draws most of its strength from negative human emotions."

"A Ruin Guard is nothing more than a machine—it has no emotions, no soul. It shouldn’t even be capable of falling under Eerie corruption."

"In that case," Jean said, nodding in agreent, "this fight’s outco is already clear. Even without her Eerie state, Eula alone should have no problem taking down a single Ruin Guard."

Sure enough, the Eerie Eula swiftly overpowered the machine.

She drove her greatsword deep into its core, shattering it completely.

The once-nacing Ruin Guard collapsed to the ground, lifeless and silent.

As the dust settled, Eula’s Eerie form faded—she had returned to normal.

Though the battle had ended easily, everyone couldn’t shake a strange feeling.

This was supposed to be the final guardian of the third chamber... How could it be so weak?

And sure enough—just as that thought crossed their minds, sothing went terribly wrong.

The Ruin Guard, whose core had already been destroyed and should’ve been completely immobilized, suddenly began to move again!

Before anyone could react, it swung its massive chanical arm at blinding speed—striking Eula squarely and sending her flying across the chamber!
