"Since when can a junior administrative clerk act as a mathematical genius at a mathematicians’ conference?"

"He gave the presentation on behalf of Zhao Yi simply because he is Zhao Yi’s roommate..."

Many people online started denouncing Qiu Chengwen, feeling deceived by him.
The initial reports that claid Fan Lei was a mathematical genius ca from Qiu Chengwen during an interview with journalists. Later on, he kept repeating that Fan Lei was a mathematical genius and even said that it was normal for such a genius to ’have character’ to explain the absence of narration in the proof presentation.

This news didn’t involve any legal issues, it was purely for entertainnt, and it sounded pretty funny.
But Qiu Chengwen wasn’t laughing.
It was only the next day that Qiu Chengwen learned of the news, by which ti he was already sitting at the central venue watching the award ceremony. It was a fellow professor from Shuimu University who ca over with a laptop, showing him the content on the screen.
Qiu Chengwen didn’t care much at first, but after taking a closer look, his face turned dark, feeling as if a pair of eyes had been staring at his back all along.

Zhou Li was sitting right behind him.
