tal Materials Laboratory.

For several days, the R&D team had been verifying Shen Binghe’s design. The process was filled with data, imagination, and debate. The verification of alloy material production design never had a one-hundred-percent certain answer. For instance, whether a particular step was beneficial to the final product’s performance could only be judged through experience and theoretical imagination. Not much needed to be said about experience, as there was too little relevant content to refer to for novel research—they could only rely on a small amount of data to illustrate the situation.

Everyone had different ideas, and even the theories could present several variations. When debating issues, it felt like they were engaged in philosophical inquiry rather than researching alloy materials.

But it was apparent that everyone was wholeheartedly striving to perfect the design. They were all mbers of the R&D team, and real breakthroughs would not only represent technological progress but would also add a significant achievent to each of their careers.

Wang Zhifang was no exception.

Although he already was an academician at the Engineering Academy and could not rise any higher in rank, he still hoped to see world-class research findings appear in his scientific career.

This ti, he and Zhao Yi rarely shared the sa view, both believing that starting from Shen Binghe’s design was a very good R&D direction since the experints had already proven Shen’s design to be very promising.

The only regret was that his design could only stay in his backpack.

Wang Zhifang always carried his design with him, his mindset the sa as the others who hoped to apply their designs to the experints to see what kinds of products they could create. What others didn’t know was that he had continually been revising the design, considering the reasons why Shen Binghe’s design was accepted, he had even made a set of designs "full of flaws."

Of course, he carried it with him but didn’t intend to take it out proactively, harboring the faint hope that Zhao Yi would again propose "using the design with many problems." Then, he would pull out his design with disdain and say sarcastically, "Isn’t this just a beginner’s design? I whipped one up in no ti!"

To make this design even more ’basic’, he kept revising and refining it, replacing the ’richly experienced’ and ’strictly verified’ steps with ’highly controversial’ ones.

"Too bad it’s of no use now!"

"No matter how much it’s revised, it’s futile. Even if they really were to choose another design, they wouldn’t consider this one!" Wang Zhifang thought sowhat regretfully.

...

The verification continued for a week.

A week was relatively long because Shen Binghe’s design had already been put into experints and had created products with improved performance. Normally, it wouldn’t take more than three days to verify each step one by one.

This also showed how seriously the R&D team took the verification process.

The initial pace was quick, with Zhao Yi swiftly eliminating several steps that ’negatively impacted the product’s performance’, leaving the ’uncertain’ and ’neutral impact’ steps.

The controversial aspects sotis took a whole day to debate, which was a long ti comparatively.

Actually, this was normal.

If you consider the cost of a single experint, a few extra days of debate to make the design more rigorous was nothing.

Another reason for the lengthy duration was that the team had more ti. For the first experint, they weren’t fully prepared, mainly because the procurent of experintal materials hadn’t kept up. Materials required for alloy developnt couldn’t be found on the market and had to be purchased from specialized factories, so even requiring imported products.

During the first experint, many of the materials were provided by He Guilin’s team from Factory 307. Considering the many experints to co, it wasn’t feasible to rely solely on Factory 307 for supplies.

So they had to wait.

Two weeks later, once everything needed was ready, the R&D team imdiately set to work on the second experint.

Factory 307, the tal Materials Laboratory, the tal Composite Materials Laboratory, and He Guilin’s team all started to work together efficiently. The initial materials were produced by Factory 307 and quickly transported to the tal Materials Laboratory.

After simple testing and processing, everyone from the R&D team, along with He Guilin’s team, went to the accompanying factory of the tal Composite Materials Laboratory to carry out the experint.

With the experience from the first experint, the second ti was much faster.

In less than two days, they reached the final step, where Zhao Yi again decided to divide the output into two parts, one using conventional cold rolling technology, and the other using more complex slow cooling technology.

Once the two products cooled to regular temperature, they were quickly shipped to the tal Materials Laboratory. The R&D team along with He Guilin’s team also headed to the tal Materials Laboratory to conduct final tests on the two products, with Li Rongmao and Zhang Hongtao still leading the testing.

This ti Shen Binghe also participated.

Shen Binghe’s practical operation skills were still quite lacking, but the mbers of the R&D team had been working together for a long ti and had good relations, especially those of similar age. They deliberately helped Shen Binghe, giving him a chance to sharpen his operational skills.

Zhang Hongtao took the initiative to pass the high-temperature gun to Shen Binghe, "Binghe, you give it a try!"

"The temperature of this thing is too high; be very careful!"

"If you can’t handle it, shall I do it? You need to control the temperature well and pay attention. We’re here to do testing, not to lt it down."
