Initially, Zhao Yi wanted to theoretically work through the "Connection Law" to achieve the most refined solution. But following a quick trial, he realized that it required an imnse amount of energy. A single design iteration for the combustion chamber sapped such excessive energy, which was an indication of how the design changes added up, requiring a substantial amount of effort for the calculations.
"Such a minor design change necessitates a heavy workload, every solution truly embodies the researchers’ painstaking efforts!"
With a sense of awe, Zhao Yi decided to take it one step at a ti. He doesn’t need to design the combustion chamber to be absolutely perfect. As long as he makes slight adjustnts to improve its stability and control, and to provide a larger thrust, it would suffice. Perfection is not attainable, there can only be continual improvents. So he started making gradual changes from the minutest details.
For instance, the thickness and material of the partition plate.
This area involved a plethora of knowledge and content, even techniques. Zhao Yi painstakingly delved into each detail, and then proposed, "What if we use a curved design for this central partition plate? Like, make the space on the left about ten percent larger than the right. Wouldn’t it make our control over it much more flexible?"
Zhou Qing was stunned by his proposition.
While Yuan Haitao didn’t quite understand, Zhou Qing began contemplating it earnestly and started calculating.
That turned out to be a complicated calculation indeed.
Zhao Yi didn’t interfere or guide him in any way, but rely watched Zhou Qing with a smile. After about ten or so minutes, Zhou Qing took a deep breath and nodded with conviction, "Although I haven’t done an accurate calculation, my rough estimation is that it would certainly make the pressure distribution more stable, thus making control much more flexible."
"Really?" Yuan Haitao asked, still a bit puzzled.
"Absolutely."
Zhou Qing confidently stated, "Using a curved design, the materials colliding with the partition plate inside would have a cushioning process instead of directly crashing into it. It would be even better if it’s semicircular. However, considering the space a semicircle would take up, which is nearly impossible, we could only bend the partition plate slightly."
"The specific degree of bending for optimal results still requires quantification. I believe this is a significant, valuable application!"
Zhou Qing even began to speak excitedly.
Zhao Yi, on the other hand, calmly responded, "If it’s aningful, then let’s do a detailed calculation."

Only after Zhao Yi’s participation did Yuan Haitao and Zhou Qing realize what a ’high-speed calculation capability’ was. Much of the content they needed to carefully calculate, Zhao Yi seed to think through and imdiately co up with the results. Their verification found that his results were indeed spot on.
In pure calculation terms, they just couldn’t keep up.
As Zhao Yi proceeded with the calculation while giving them an explanation, his ultra-fast speed left them unable to follow his thought process. They ultimately abandoned trying and just waited for the result. After about half an hour, they reached a conclusion.
Zhou Qing quickly jotted down the results, excitedly saying, "I believe we can write a report on this. Future combustion chambers’ partition plates can all..."
"No need for that yet."
Zhao Yi waved his hand and said, "Earlier we were just discussing one partition plate, there’s much more inside. I believe we should systematically analyse each of them before we can draw up the most refined solution."
"Right, right!"
