Everyone knows that theoretical physics is simply using mathematics to interpret existing findings and conclusions, and there’s a high probability that most of it is wrong. In fact, from the perspective of the discipline of theoretical physics, whether it is correct or not is not important.
But the outside world thinks differently.
Many people may think that a physics theory must be correct to be aningful.
This is a mistaken perception.
If a theory can explain many existing findings but is ultimately proven wrong, the process of debunking it can still foster progress in physics. Failure is the mother of success; without wrong theories, there would be no correct ones. The ultimate purpose of proposing a theory is to provide a direction, not to ’ensure correctness’.
Zhao Yi began by clarifying this, then moved onto explaining the potential of particle theory, "The world of particles is very complex. Boundary Theory of particles is a fundantal theory, which has just established the basic mathematical frawork."
"Within the system of the mathematical frawork, there can be many different directions of developnt, and its research value lies here."
"Perhaps we can use Boundary Theory of particles to link gravity, electromagnetism, or to study other things, such as investigating the composition of various cosmic rays, or even venture into more minute things, pushing into the realm of Dark Matter that currently only exists in theory, and so on."

Zhao Yi spoke carefully, stating facts, albeit those that required incredibly difficult research.
For instance, Dark Matter.
It’s not even confird whether Dark Matter exists, let alone constructing a theoretical mathematical frawork for it.
This work massively relies on imagination.
However, it can be surely said that Boundary Theory of particles, being rooted in energy composition, can indeed use its internal structural system to describe the existence and composition of the micro-world and the universe.
So, it’s not an overstatent.
As Du Defa listened, his head started to spin, but he understood one thing: Particle Theory had great research potential.
That was sufficient!
Feigning comprehension, Du Defa kept bobbing his head in agreent. After Zhao Yi finished speaking, Du Defa went on to say, "Indeed, your point makes sense. The Technology Departnt wants to know whether you are interested in developing Particle Theory by yourself."
"Develop it myself? What do you an?" Zhao Yi asked, confused.
Zhou Zhengbin, who felt anxious listening, explained directly, "That is, the Technology Departnt intends to allocate funds to our faculty to invest in building a research center for Particle Theory. You would head the center, and this new research center could gather researchers interested in Particle Theory to conduct related research."
"Not interested."
Upon hearing this, Zhao Yi imdiately lost interest.
"—?" Zhou Zhengbin almost thought he had misheard, and stared wide-eyed at Zhao Yi.
Everyone else had a similar reaction.
Du Defa hadn’t stated it plainly because things were uncertain. They had just held a small eting and felt that it was necessary to support the developnt of Particle Theory. After all, it was the first ti a dostic scholar had proposed a physics theory that could impact the world, which sounded very impressive.
