The Quantum Physics Symposium hosted by Jiangzhou University was a private, academic exchange conference. When located within the dostic academic circles, it was quite ordinary and it was hard to say how influential it was.

In the dostic field of physics, and even in the specific field of quantum physics, the influence of such conference could not achieve a first-class standard, since only a few top physicists attend. The participants are usually ordinary physics researchers, and thus it can be described as ’regional’ academic exchange.

This is what the Quantum Physics Symposium was setup to be. The admission threshold was naturally not too high; anyone with a Master’s degree in mathematics or Physics, or those who had published papers on quantum physics, could apply freely for participation. However, despite the low entrance threshold, not many people ca to attend.

The main job of the conference organizer was to invite well-known physicists to attend the conference, while the approval of free applications was handled by other workers.

This was how the division of labor for this symposium was arranged, but plans often cannot keep up with changes.

In the recent days, Xiao Zhibei, the person in charge of the symposium, has been troubled by the approval of free applications. Sohow, news of Zhao Yi’s attendance got out, and not only did many well-known physicists co to attend, but also many people applied to participate at the last minute.

There were too many free applications, with over two thousand applications accumulated in the back-end. It’s impossible to reject them all, so he could only sift through them one by one.

This caused Xiao Zhibei to feel extrely frustrated. Initially, the conference was to be held in a small eting room at the university with the number of attendees expected to be around a hundred. However, the approval from the back-end exceeded a hundred and fifty people, and the amount kept on growing.

A lot of them were professors from various colleges and scholars from research institutions. Since they were definitely qualified to attend the conference, they couldn’t be completely denied of attendance.

This was a headache inducing issue.

In the end, Xiao Zhibei could only negotiate with the people of Jiangzhou University and move the venue to the central stage of the auditorium.

The auditorium was a venue for large-scale events, able to accommodate over five hundred people. It’s only used when so stars or famous scholars co to the university.

Now, it’s going to host an academic exchange, which was quite strange.

On the day of the symposium.

Many people were coming and going to Jiangzhou University. So received the conference admission ticket, so simply ca to have a look, and lots of reporters ca to interview. The number of reporters was not small, roughly estimated to be over a hundred people.

This shows the influence of Zhao Yi.

The reporters had reasons to co for the interview. Besides Zhao Yi, the attendees also included Nobel laureate Yang Zhenning, and several scholars from the Science Academy. There were three academicians from the physics departnt alone, which were definitely worth interviewing. Their presence also elevated the conference’s standards and influence by a notch.

Although it cannot be said to have reached a world-class level, it had garnered the attention of the world.

Other attendees included officials from Nanjiang Province and Jiangzhou City. A large part of the reason for their attendance was because Zhao Yi was a ’Nanjinger’.

Jiangzhou was the capital of Nanjiang.

Zhao Yi was born in Zhengyang, so naturally, he was a Nanjinger. Many people’s impression of Zhao Yi is that he’s a ’Zhengyanger’, and many people wanted to label Zhao Yi with ’Nanjing’ and ’Jiangzhou’.

Due to the high number of participants, police had to be deployed in the surrounding area to maintain order.

Eight o’clock in the morning.

Many people had gathered in front of the auditorium. So of those who had admission tickets entered the venue early, while others simply gathered in front of the venue.

The physicists, one by one, appeared like stars. The first to appear was Ruan Wenye.

Ruan Wenye walked out of the hotel and into Jiangzhou University. He was shocked when he reached the auditorium entrance, as many people were looking at him. So recognized him, "That’s Professor Ruan Wenye, he’s the head of the European Nuclear Organization’s Team, and he has worked with Zhao Yi."

"Professor Ruan!"

"Professor Ruan!"

A crowd of people started shouting Ruan Wenye’s na in chorus.

This was probably the first ti Ruan Wenye had encountered such a scene, he was even a little flustered. As he awkwardly waved to those around him, he couldn’t help wondering, "When did so many people know ?"

"Am I so famous?"

Not only were there people shouting his na at the entrance, there were also a few journalists who were taking pictures—it did rather feel like being a star when walking down the aisle into the auditorium.

In fact, most people were only present for the spectacle, waiting for Zhao Yi.

If soone recognized a scholar and said their na, everyone would join the chorus. It was not just Ruan Wenye who experienced this, several professors from the Science Academy also went through the sa.

They had all co together, but their experiences were sowhat embarrassing.

Zhang Hongzhi walked over with a few people and the crowd on both sides began discussing. Most of what was being said was, "They’re from the Science Academy!"

"Look at the old one, he must be an academician."

"What research has he done?"

"I don’t know."

"Who’s that bald guy in the front?"

"Who knows? Being able to walk in the front must an he’s quite impressive!"

Since no one knew their nas, they couldn’t directly welco them by shouting their nas. The welcoming sounds turned into whispers, so of which were not very flattering.

Ruan Wenye watched from the entrance, feeling pleased and sowhat relieved that he didn’t co with Zhang Hongzhi.

Look!

An individual had received a star’s welco, while Zhang Hongzhi and the others were only the subjects of discussions—they didn’t even get a welcoming cheer.
