The current situation surprised Edward, as Zhao Yi managed to change the subject, choosing to ignore Camila and suggest showing them around the university, imdiately bringing up mathematical problems afterwards.

Zhao Yi wasn’t aware of Edward pondering these gossips, since he was just showing them around the school on their first day. They didn’t discuss any profound mathematical problems, only talking about established results. Using very few brain cells, it was basically just a normal conversation.
He walked side by side with Edward, followed by Camila and Qian Hong.
Qian Hong’s hostility towards Camila was pretty evident. As they walked side by side not saying a word, one could feel the mutual disregard.
It made the atmosphere a bit awkward.

As long as you didn’t turn around, or chose to ignore the slight discomfort in the group, everything was the sa as usual.
And that was what Zhao Yi did. He showed Edward around the school and took him to the School of Sciences. They stopped and took a break in a small eting room. After ensuring Edward’s als and accommodation were handled by the university, there was no need for Zhao Yi to get involved further.
After he parted ways with the group in charge of entertaining Edward, he had ti to return to his dorm to greet his roommates before heading for elective classes.
After the evening’s classes ended, Zhao Yi returned to the staff dormitory, where he found Qian Hong waiting at the entrance.
Qian Hong was carrying so books and called out to Zhao Yi from a distance before quickly walking over to him. She opened her mouth a few tis but didn’t say anything.
Zhao Yi asked, perplexed, "What’s up?"
Qian Hong glanced up at him and then looked back down at the ground. It was a while before she lifted her head again, and said, "That foreign woman today, she’s no good. Be careful."
"Oh, thank you."
Upon hearing her ssage, all Zhao Yi wanted to do was laugh. He shook his head and asked, "So, what kind of woman is good then?"
Qian Hong looked up and rolled her eyes at him. It seed she found her sense of normalcy, and reflexively responded, "Don’t you already have a girlfriend? Lin Xiaoqing is pretty great."
"Oh."
Zhao Yi laughed and said, "Actually, I think you’re also great, gentle, generous and beautiful. If only..."
Before he could finish, Qian Hong, blushing, covered her face, "What are you talking about!"
Having said that, she turned around and hurried away.
