Every ti Edward and Zhao Yi video chatted, they’d discuss so mathematical and physics problems.

In essence, theoretical physics is a branch of mathematics. M theory and string theory, which Edward yearned to study, were both founded upon mathematical constructs.

Indeed, the two found a lot of common ground in mathematical issues.

Nonetheless, Edward loved to talk about the architectural concept of string theory because as soon as he could discuss the transition from ’theory physics to quantum physics’ with Zhao Yi, he would imdiately start discussing string theory and particles.

Edward gave his thoughts. "I believe that, using mathematical constructs, we can analyze and explain the entire process from strings to particles."

Zhao Yi rubbed his forehead as he listened.

Zhao Yi only wanted to learn about string theory. He had a neutral attitude towards it, neither believing nor denying it. He only trusted what had been verified or mathematically deducible.

String theory rely remained in the realm of imagination. No matter how perfect the mathematical construct, it remains an idea until an experint can prove it.

Whether strings exist or not is still unknown. The ’evolution’ from strings to particles is sowhat far-fetched.

Zhao Yi didn’t refuse to discuss it with Edward. After all, Edward’s achievents in mathematics, particularly in the architecture of micro-mathematics, was truly remarkable. He could be considered the world’s leading expert. Zhao Yi learned quite a lot during their discussions on string theory.

Their conversation shifted from theoretical mathematics to the properties and mathematical analysis of microscopic particles, and then, to Zhao Yi’s recent mathematical achievent—-

To top-notch mathematicians, simplifying Fermat’s Last Theorem was just a byproduct of the Column Ratio Elimination thod, which was the more valuable proposition.

"I carefully reviewed your paper. It’s really interesting and surprising. I believe those researching complex maths, especially those in the fields of partial differential equations and topological geotry, would be even more delighted."

This was reality.

The Column Ratio Elimination thod significantly simplified Fermat’s Last Theorem. However, its largest application in mathematical fields fell on complex mathematical functions, sequences, and graphics analysis, where it greatly benefited researchers in complex maths.

Zhou Li’s wave equation research, which was stymied by complex function analysis, beca much simpler with the application of the Column Ratio Elimination thod.

Edward comnded, "This thod might also be applicable in the architectural analysis of string theory. I’ve thought about it thoroughly and I might be able to use it..."

The next part was sowhat ’mystic’ again.

Edward’s stubborn pursuit was comndable. He sincerely discussed it with Zhao Yi, but his personality wasn’t impeccable.

When he noticed Zhao Yi didn’t understand sothing, Edward’s face showed a hint of smugness. He’d then make a comnt on the confusing part, "What don’t you understand?" "This is simple." "You managed to research particle energy distribution, these areas should be easy for you to understand."

Listening, Zhao Yi felt as though he is being scolded by his teacher for being dumb.

It was, quite frankly, very annoying.

Zhao Yi took a deep breath, reminding himself ’Edward didn’t do it on purpose’ or ’He’s an older man, don’t sweat the small stuff.’ Nevertheless, he remained irritated. Checking his watch, he decided to end the call.

Right before he ended the call, Zhao Yi suddenly rembered to express his ’gratitude’. "Edward, I almost forgot, thank you," he said.

"The stuff you sent , the legacy from your unfortunate colleague, was very helpful. It was the inspiration behind the Column Ratio Elimination thod."

"Let say it again. Thank you!"

Smiling, Zhao Yi hung up the call.

Now, it was Edward’s turn to be bumd, staring at the black screen. He felt Zhao Yi did it on purpose.

He knew that Zhao Yi’s inspiration ca from the mathematical material he sent over. That was the reason he called Zhao Yi in the first place--
