Zhao Yi always felt that going to Zhou Li was like asking for trouble. He didn’t consider that Zhou Li wanted to genuinely discuss mathematics. Indeed, he was a top-ranked mathematician recognized globally, but his research was in number theory, while Zhou Li’s main field was partial differential equations.

Partial differential equations is an enormous field. Nurous mathematicians, both dostically and internationally, are researching the field of partial differential equations. So mathematicians even spend their entire lives researching this field.
The research in this field is endless.
Similar to how a piece of land is used—in so places, people build houses; in others, high-rise buildings. So open up farms, and others grow vegetables on it.
And so on.
The land can be used for many purposes.
Many mathematicians explore a wide variety of quirky applications on the ’land’ of partial differential equations, and each new attempt and achievent contributes to the construction of mathematics and is valuable.
So mathematicians who feel their research results aren’t significant have been awarded valuable mathematical prizes, which is quite normal.
The results in this field differ from others as most of the ti, they rely on small, continuous accumulations.

Accumulation doesn’t an it’s easy.
Zhou Li has co across a problem now. According to his own reasoning, he found the determinant too complicated when trying to solve a wave equation problem. His research seed to have co to a dead end.
When he tried to rethink it, he realized there was no other way.
This issue had bothered him for more than a week.
Zhou Li had encountered so similar situations before and knew that sotis inspiration is greatly needed. After thinking about it again and not getting results, he just called Zhao Yi in the end, thinking that discussing it with Zhao Yi might give him so inspiration?
Zhao Yi’s primary research field was number theory, but occasionally it did touch upon complex mathematics!
"Knock, knock!"
When Zhou Li was in deep thought, the door was knocked. Lifting his eyes, he saw Zhao Yi standing in the doorway.
"Zhao Yi, you’re here!"
He quickly got up with enthusiasm and welcod Zhao Yi into his office. As he was imrsed in pondering the research problem, he skipped small talk and went straight to the topic.
Listening attentively, even Zhao Yi was surprised, "Professor Zhou, you’re talking about your research? But I don’t know much about partial differential equations."
