"Why did a tornado appear? What triggered it?"
"I really can’t believe it, since we can see a tornado, I believe we indeed created a tornado generator, which would be a terrifying weapon!"
"Why would you consider it as a weapon? Its underlying principle is what’s most important."
"Of course, everyone knows that."
"We’ve made a huge discovery! A super huge discovery!"
Everyone involved in the experintal research beca excited, including the commanders and the staff, each one full of enthusiasm.
The theoretical group was just as excited, and Edward Witten exclaid in amazent, "A stable space-link channel can actually affect the material level?"
In matter transportation experints, it had been proven that space links could impact the material level, but these were special cases. First, an area devoid of voidons had to be created. Without an area devoid of voidons, particle transportation could still occur, but the terminal space needed to be compressed, resulting in an extrely small number of particles being transmitted to the other end.
This extrely small number was indeed very negligible.
All the above were already confird experints, and the current experint did not involve any space compression. It was rely a normal connection between two devices, and additionally, it was a short-distance connection. The environnts on both sides were quite similar. To then affect the material level was indeed astonishing.
Edward Witten could no longer express any sense of disappointnt; he was even more excited and enthusiastic than anyone else, as if the person who had doubted the experint before wasn’t him at all.
Or rather, that was the past him, and the past him and the current him were completely different in terms of thought.
Unable to contain his excitent, Edward Witten said fervently, "This is absolutely an astonishing discovery, we need to understand its principle."
"I think sothing magical might have happened, like molecular exchange."
"Perhaps it’s the molecular exchange between both materials that directly ford a mutual airflow, gradually creating the tornado."
"Continuous molecular exchange could slowly increase the size of the tornado, making it bigger and bigger, maybe even creating a super large tornado with a diater of several kiloters!"
Zhao Yi couldn’t help but give Edward Witten’s wild idea a thumbs-up, as if to endorse Edward’s opinion.
However, Qiu Chengwen threw cold water on the idea, expressing his view, "I don’t think so, molecular exchange has no basis. I believe the tornado that’s appeared may be related to gravity."
"Impossible!"
Edward Witten shook his head imdiately, "The space link we’re working on now has nothing to do with an anti-gravity system. I have been studying the theories related to the latest technology, and the anti-gravity system and space links are two completely different things."
"The current experint involves space linking, which will not produce an effect similar to anti-gravity."
Qiu Chengwen shook his head, "I’m just suggesting a possibility. We haven’t conducted a detailed analysis yet, and simply seeing a tornado doesn’t confirm the cause."
"But you can’t just assu it’s gravity-related, that’s completely illogical."
"And your molecular exchange makes sense? If I hadn’t heard it myself, I would think I’m reading a sci-fi novel!" Qiu Chengwen retorted sarcastically.
Edward Witten imdiately countered, "But it makes far more sense than your suggestion."
"I don’t think so."
Zhao Yi was almost laughing on the sidelines as the two n kept arguing, even the tone of their voice sparking flas. He happened to have nothing to do, just waiting for the second experint to start.
Then, he clenched his fist and quietly chanted, "Co on, co on!"
"——!"
The faces of Edward Witten and Qiu Chengwen both darkened simultaneously. They looked around with a very lethal gaze. People engaged in physics research are very confident, and most are stubborn, insisting on reasoning out their theories even when they don’t make sense, in the hopes that others will agree with their logic.
Just so happened.
Edward Witten and Qiu Chengwen both belonged to this category. Feeling frustrated, they stopped talking and then simultaneously turned to see Zhao Yi, as if they wanted to hear his opinion.
Zhao Yi said, "I think it’s related to space-ti."
"Space-ti?"
"Are you joking?"
"I’m referring to space-ti distortion." Zhao Yi only said four words, and the others understood.
Space-ti distortion is often seen in movies and novels, seeming very mystical, often associated with concepts like ti travel. In reality, it’s a term in physics proposed by Einstein’s theory, which states that mass can cause distortion in space-ti. Because of this, gravitational waves exist, and universal gravitation operates under the frawork of space-ti distortion.
When Zhao Yi talked about space-ti distortion, the others fell silent and pondered, but still didn’t agree with his viewpoint. Edward Witten said, "You think it manufactured gravity? But gravity isn’t that easy to produce, is it?"
"If gravity could be manufactured, this discovery would be magnified countless tis!"
Qiu Chengwen said, "It might be worth a hundred Nobel Prizes."
The others found it interesting — when did the Nobel Prize beco a unit of asurent?
Qiu Chengwen continued, "I hope it’s true. This technology is too important. If we possess it, we could make a real spacecraft like in the movies, rather than people just floating inside. The spacecraft would beco suitable for humans to live and work for long periods."
