The public listing work for Unlimited Power Company was proceeding in an orderly fashion.
Yixing had already released so information, with many people waiting and discussing, the majority of which were very optimistic about the prospects of Unlimited Power Company. As it stood, the company hardly had any dostic or international competitors, at least none at the mont, so an expansive developnt over the next few years was expected.
As a company that was bound to make money, as long as it went public, its stock prices would soar.
However, Unlimited Power Company had not yet submitted its public listing application, mainly because its internal restructuring was still not entirely complete.
Despite this, the public listing process had entered a new phase, for example, audit agencies had already been invited to supervise.
The restructuring and managent of the company were things that Zhao Yi didn’t need to worry too much about, as he had poured more energy into his hobby—
flying cars.
Zhao Yi had completed the overall design of the frawork. Li Jianhua suggested he could draw inspiration from how ships travel through the ocean, which indeed gave him so inspiration.
Although a ship’s propulsion fundantally involves pushing water backward with its engine (due to the high density of water), the engine used by a ship is much smaller than the fans used by airplanes.
In other words, Zhao Yi’s idea was to design a rotating engine, and the scale of the engine could be made very small, which could then be integrated with the tires.
His design incorporated a tire inner layer that could unfold into fan blades.
When the car floated into the sky, the outer tire layer could be retracted, allowing the fan blades inside to extend. Using the sa electric motor, it could drive the four engines (wheels) to rotate continuously, propelling the car forward in real flight.
This kind of power support was still sowhat deficient.
The design included the addition of two Miniature Turbocharged Engines beneath the car, essentially simplifying the design of a fighter jet engine. The combustion chamber, however, did not use fuel but directly harnessed solar power transmission technology to transfer the surrounding solar energy, which was more than sufficient to heat the air efficiently without the need for conversion.
"This design can also be used when the car drives on land," said Zhao Yi.
"It’s just that the speed isn’t very fast on land, and the effect isn’t great," he considered.
His moderately proud design was the Miniature Turbocharged Engine, using high-efficiency solar energy for directly heating the air, which could even be extended to the civilian aircraft field.
This would allow civilian aircraft to also have unlimited power.
The only issue was that the power output was very low.
Even with solar energy transmitted from the vicinity of the sun, the temperature and power were not sufficient; the maximum was only a few hundred degrees Celsius, so the efficiency of heating compressed air was very low. On civilian aircraft, this limitation would significantly reduce the aircraft’s speed and prevent heavier planes from even taking off.
Of course, for flying cars used as auxiliary flying power, it was already enough.
Zhao Yi made a simple calculation, "With the Miniature Turbocharged Engine, plus the four rotating wheel engines, the flying car could maintain speeds over 300 kiloters per hour."
"This speed should be about the sa as the high-speed train, right?"
"Not bad at all!"
For civilian use, it was definitely sufficient.
Zhao Yi looked at his own design sketches with a sense of pride. It was the first ti he had taken such an interest in his own designs, mainly because the content was much more relevant to daily life.
The engines and fighter jets he had designed before, no matter how perfect, seed to have nothing to do with him, whereas the flying car he was creating now was sothing he could actually test himself, and even own one in the future, just as a regular car.
The entire design process took nearly three days, mostly spent on the Miniature Turbocharged Engine. Simplifying the turbine fan engines used in fighter jets was not an easy task, and a lot of ti was invested in it.
At this mont, Qiu Chengwen suddenly sent a ssage, "Zhao Yi, you’ve been at Yixing’s headquarters recently, right? When will you finish the work there?"
Zhao Yi responded, "I can’t attend to it at the mont, but I’m not busy. Why? Do you need to co over? Working on sothing?"
"Not really, it’s still early for the experint. I was just checking in. You’re not busy, so what are you doing?"
"Designing sothing."
"What thing?"
"Flying car." Zhao Yi typed out these four words nonchalantly.
Qiu Chengwen called him, and upon connecting, imdiately said, "Why are you designing cars now? Are you planning to expand Unlimited Power Company’s business, or what? I thought you were conducting research!"
The last sentence clearly carried a hint of disappointnt, probably because he felt that Zhao Yi’s car design work was a waste of energy.
In Qiu Chengwen’s mind, a genius of Zhao Yi’s caliber should be dedicated solely to theoretical research, instead of spending energy on the technical level.
Theory is the foundation.
Technology? Anyone can work on that!
After finishing his statent, Qiu Chengwen suddenly realized sothing, "Wait, what car did you say you were designing?"
"Flying car."
"A flying car?" Qiu Chengwen was imdiately astonished, opening his mouth wide, "Really a flying car? A car that can fly?"
"Yes!"
"Is it finished?"
"Just finished."
"Good heavens!" Qiu Chengwen was so surprised that he blurted out an exclamation, then quickly said, "Can you show the exterior? Not the design drawings, just the exterior will do."
