Then, Zhao Yi realized he had entered a realm of unknown knowledge.

At first, when researching the boundary theory of particles, the main focus was on the ways that particles compose energy, not what exists at the particle’s core point, or how a mass point resists the compression of space. The concept of mass point was posited later, rely defining the mass point and acknowledging that space exerts pressure and repulsion on it.

What needed to be considered now was the manner in which a mass point successfully resists the compression of space, which he couldn’t even begin to imagine how a mass point combats space.

It seed to involve the research direction of multidinsional spaces, for when he initially collaborated with Edward Witten, the fundantal definition provided was, "Mass is a product of higher dinsions."

"So..."

"This should be Edward’s research, his expertise, not mine. Multidinsional space-ti, multidinsional material fraworks."

"Had I known, I would have paid more attention to the content of Edward’s research earlier."

Zhao Yi was a bit chagrined.

While conducting research with Edward Witten, he did study Witten’s frawork for multidinsional spaces, as well as the mathematical logic behind Superstring Theory and M Theory, but he had not looked closely at Witten’s findings.

Or to put it another way...

The main reason was that Edward Witten had no relevant findings.

Even the results of theoretical physics ’based purely on mathematics’ must achieve a mature logic before they can truly be regarded as findings worthy of publication, even if they cannot, for the ti being, be proven.

Witten didn’t consider himself to have any findings, and since he never shared his everyday research, Zhao Yi had not paid much attention either.

But now Zhao Yi recognized that Witten’s research still held value, at least Edward had created a series of mathematical fraworks based on M Theory concerning mass points and the boundaries of multidinsional spaces.

These were all highly aningful.

"Edward, Edward..." Zhao Yi murmured Edward Witten’s na, and then suddenly his eyes widened, "That’s right!"

"Last ti, Edward ntioned he’d co back in a few months, and we agreed to conduct research together."

He imdiately called the School of Sciences and only then did he learn that Edward Witten had already arrived two days ago, asked about his situation, yet hadn’t received any ssages.

Zhao Yi decisively stepped out of the room and briefly let Ruan Wenye and a few others know, "I’m heading back to Yanhua University!"

"Back to the university? Why?"

"To conduct research."

Zhao Yi didn’t explain much, only ntioning that he was going to discuss multidinsional issues with Edward Witten, then took a military vehicle straight back to Yanhua University.

Now Zhao Yi was a key protective subject, but in reality, there wasn’t any danger. With the military safeguarding the areas around the capital, security was not a concern at all.

Zhao Yi wasn’t worried about this himself, as he was very safety-conscious, and occasionally he would use the "Law of Cause and Effect" to check if he was ’in danger’.

The "Law of Cause and Effect" proved to be very effective in this respect.

Although it couldn’t predict accidental incidents, dangers brought about by human actions would have corresponding conditional information, which certainly could be predicted.

Once back at Yanhua University, Zhao Yi imdiately found Edward Witten.

Edward Witten was overjoyed by Zhao Yi’s arrival, "I thought I wouldn’t see you this ti; I didn’t expect you to co back."

Zhao Yi smiled, "As soon as I knew you were here, I ca right away."

"Really?"

Edward Witten didn’t know if it was true, as he felt Zhao Yi was lying. On his last visit, Zhao Yi was always too busy and hardly showed any enthusiasm for their collaborative research.

Zhao Yi nodded affirmingly, "Of course, I’ve been eager to continue our research on multidinsional spaces and mass points with you."

Witten’s eyes shone brightly, "That’s wonderful, Zhao Yi. You’ve finally understood that M Theory is the most important, the ultimate theorem of the universe, right?"

"...Yes."

Zhao Yi didn’t want to dampen Witten’s enthusiasm and reluctantly agreed with a nod.

"Then what are we waiting for?"

"Let’s get going!"

"I can’t wait any longer!" Edward Witten said, grabbing Zhao Yi’s hand and quickly dashing towards the faculty residential building.

...

The two worked on research together, still inside the faculty residential building.

The room on the fifth floor was spacious and luxurious. With an assistant taking care of their daily needs, they could concentrate on their research.

Zhao Yi was interested in understanding Edward Witten’s frawork for mass points in multidinsional space and the boundary problems of these spaces.

A certain understanding of the problem is how mass points enter three-dinsional space from their boundaries.

After defining mass points, Edward Witten had conducted extensive research; he used superstring theory to structure the multidinsional forms of mass points and studied the boundary issues of multidinsional spaces—a series of mathematical logics so complex they could make one’s scalp tingle at a glance.

But it was just a mathematical structure, and even that was not perfectly constructed.

Edward Witten showed Zhao Yi his recent work and explained, "The mass of multidinsional spaces can only be understood in terms of topological shapes."

"Topology requires a mathematical dium, and the Riemann Function and Fermat’s Last Theorem are particularly suitable as topological fulcrums for M Theory..."

Edward Witten explained earnestly.

Zhao Yi kept nodding, carefully understanding all the content, simultaneously asking about the structure and occasionally expressing his views and queries.

In fact, there were many issues with the mathematical structure that Edward Witten had created. So parts were inexplicable, purely imaginative, and unsupported by mathematical logic. One could consider him a ’novelist’ amongst top mathematicians; he supported his imagination with mathematical logic to analyze mass points in multidinsional spaces, an analysis that was purely mathematical and thus difficult to refute.

It was like saying "the center of a black hole could be a passage through space."

Who could say it was correct?

Who could say it was not?

Once Edward Witten had finished speaking, Zhao Yi also shared his understanding of mass points, indicating that he was also researching "the relationship between mass points and space but needed to think from a multidinsional perspective, specifically from the ’ergence’ of mass points."

Their research dovetailed perfectly!

They began to work together on studying the forms of mass points in multidinsional space, with the core focus being the analysis of topological shapes.

For instance, the classical Klein bottle, which could never be filled, needed to be described topologically when translated to multidinsional space. Since the research was based on superstring theory and M Theory, it was imperative to examine topological shapes associated with the requisite topological diums—

The Riemann Conjecture and Fermat’s Last Theorem.

Their goal was not to prove the Riemann Conjecture but to study the topological shapes of mass points as reflected in the mathematical distribution of the Riemann Conjecture and Fermat’s Last Theorem.

If one were to use demotion to explain, it would be like having the solutions to an unknown function all located on a straight line, which is the intersection of two planes. To study this, one must look at the intersection of the two planes, the distribution of the solutions of relevant functions along the line, and then retroactively understand the functions.

Zhao Yi and Edward Witten’s research was so consuming that they neglected everything else, going without sleep or food.

For example, Edward Witten had long overstayed the ti he had planned and missed his return flight, which he was supposed to take back to Princeton.

When the higher-ups from the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton called, Edward Witten shrugged them off with a single phrase, "I’m busy researching with Zhao Yi; don’t bother !"

Edward Witten’s visa, a one-year work visa, had also expired mid-research, and he was totally indifferent to renewing it, simply telling his assistant, "I don’t have ti to go to the embassy. If the police co to deport , let them co!"

...

Zhao Yi felt helpless when he heard this, so he simply made a call to the higher-ups, explained the situation, and the problem was easily resolved.

The visa was not an issue!

The higher-ups even casually inquired about the specific research Zhao Yi was doing.

Zhao Yi gave a simple explanation.

The leaders and others who received the news were utterly confused. "Isn’t Academician Zhao working on anti-gravity theory research? How did he suddenly start researching sothing like M Theory with Edward Witten, which seems even less reliable than anti-gravity!?"

Anti-gravity sounds very science fiction-based yet has been proven.

M Theory, on the other hand, is considered to be ’pure imagination, unprovable,’ just mathematically analyzing multidinsional spaces...

What’s the point?

Even if it was analyzed, could humans actually touch multidinsional space-ti?
