"A spatial energy barrier?"
Zhou Guifang was sowhat puzzled.
"Spatial properties?"
Zhang Qican grasped the key term.
"Could it be that space has fractured? Is it possible for it to be like in fantasy novels where one can traverse through ti and space at the point of rupture?"
The last sentence was uttered by Dong Lihua, who seed to have thought of sothing bizarre, causing everyone else to look on as well.
Feeling slightly embarrassed, Dong Lihua said, "That’s how it’s written in many novels!"
This bit of cold humor was aningless.
Zhao Yi cleared his throat and continued, "It’s not a fracture in space. This typ of barrier does not affect matter but has a direct impact on energy, possibly a hundred percent energy interruption."
"A hundred percent?"
Zhou Guifang, frowning, asked, "Does blocking energy consu energy?"
"No!"
Zhao Yi stated confidently, "That’s why I say it’s about spatial properties. Relative to pure energy, spatial status is much higher in hierarchy. It can be understood like this: similar to the formation of a vacuum due to an air gap, no matter how loud a sound is, it cannot propagate through a vacuum."
"Energy and space are two completely different properties, no amount of energy can traverse a spatial barrier."
This explanation made things much clearer.
The spatial barrier was not an energy shield supported by energy but rather a sort of ’energy fault’ within space. Just as a vacuum is unable to transmit sound, an ’energy fault’ is incapable of transmitting energy. Energy, having lost its dium of propagation, naturally couldn’t cross the barrier.
Zhou Guifang asked with a furrowed brow, "What about matter? For instance, the car used for the experint?"
"A car is doable, but what will happen is hard to say and needs experintal verification. However, based on current findings, light and electromagnetic waves, including direct electrical connections, cannot pass through the fault."
Having finished his explanation, Zhao Yi gauged the differing reactions of the group.
Zhou Guifang continued frowning and then suddenly exclaid, "This is already amazing, a completely unsolvable cloak of invisibility!"
"If light can’t go through, nor can electromagnetic waves, if a fighter jet had this spatial barrier, radar and infrared would be rendered useless, and it simply couldn’t be locked onto..."
Zhao Yi followed this line of thought and couldn’t help but take a deep breath.
If light and electromagnetic waves were interrupted, the use in invisibility was indeed formidable. Would a fortress built in the sky not be undetectable, untrackable, and essentially ’invisible’?
Zhang Qican then questioned, "Academician Zhao, based on the experint, does it an that the energy lost was absorbed by space and upon accumulation to a certain degree, it then ford the spatial energy barrier? Is it accumulation or having reached a critical value that forms it?"
He posed a specialized question.
Zhao Yi nodded in approval and said, "This still needs to be verified by experints. However, I personally conjecture that it’s related to both accumulation and the critical value, but the critical value plays a greater role."
"It’s like the low-lying lava in the sea. The high temperature on the surface can always cause so seawater to evaporate into bubbles. If it were a sustained low temperature, it would have no effect, or if it were a montary high temperature, most of the heat might be lost."
"But we are lucky. Maybe the energy provided by our device is just on the brink of forming the barrier, and after maintaining it for a while, it slowly accumulates and forms the barrier."
Zhao Yi spoke of so uncertainties, and further experints were needed to verify these. For now, they were only hypotheses.
Dong Lihua imdiately said, "Then let’s prepare for the next experint right away. Academician Zhao, make any request you have; our team will fully cooperate!"
What a grand discovery!
The ordinary staff of the anti-gravity unit were not yet privy to the news, but many had seen the power cut off and the blurring of light during the experint. The excitent of Dong Lihua, Zhou Guifang and the others was hardly containable, leading to various speculations within the group.
They could also sense sothing from the distribution of work, such as the quick preparation for a new experint right after the previous one ended, and it was even more thorough than before, indicating so major discovery.
Zhao Yi and Zhang Qican did not leave the anti-gravity experint base, they simply stayed to wait for the next experint.
The next experint was to verify the ability to sustain the spatial energy barrier for a longer ti, which required isolating the experint device completely, with no connection to the outside.
The preparations for the experint ant placing the power system and other detection devices within the experintal equipnt, fixed internally, while also adding so detection devices as needed.
The technical staff of the anti-gravity team also studied the experintal detection thods and safety, striving to prevent any accidental losses during the experint.
Zhao Yi began theoretical research.
The current experintal results were not detailed, such as it was uncertain whether the spatial barrier could block one hundred percent of energy, nor was it certain which types of energy specifically were being blocked. But the obtained results had already created a research direction, and when combined with the Codes of the Divine, it allowed for a partial analysis of space.
This section of analysis dealt with ’the relationship between space and energy conduction’, which sounded incredibly simple but in reality, was unimaginably complex.
Zhao Yi spent five days writing out more than thirty pages of opaque and intricate formulas. Zhou Guifang visited once, looked for over ten minutes, and then simply gave up, "This is like a book from heaven!"
