The Warhawk aircraft is being debugged?

Academician Zhao is personally directing it?

Among all the news, these two pieces are the most important. Those who are closer to He Shulin and sowhat believe in his judgnt are paying attention, regardless of whether the debugging will be a success or if there will be many issues.

When the Warhawk aircraft was being debugged for the first ti, a group of people arrived.

This group was led by Liu Jiankun and included several other leaders from the Aviation Group, representatives from the military, and even a military air force general.

A crowd gathered.

This was an unscheduled ’inspection’ where most people ca under the guise of inspecting; they congregated on the second floor of the assembly center to watch the debugging of the Warhawk aircraft.

He Shulin was also on the second floor; he had gone to et Liu Jiankun, and later simply joined the Aviation Group’s delegation.

He followed behind Liu Jiankun, whispering to familiar people beside him in a voice loud enough to be heard by those in front and behind, "What is this, tell ? I’ve been working for so long, busy for a whole year! And just when we were about to assemble and debug... they ca."

He Shulin didn’t ntion Zhao Yi by na, but the dissatisfaction was clear in his tone, "They ca, and of course, were welcod. Being the chief designer and all, it’s normal to co and look at the work. At first, I thought it would be a great help since no one can match up in theory, design, and technology."

"But unexpectedly, he just took over command, and not just ordinary command; without asking or anyone else, he ordered a bunch of parts to be returned to the factory and even had the assembled fuselage taken apart."

"At that ti..."

He Shulin complained and shook his head, "Later I figured it out and stopped caring, but as a result, we were a month behind schedule."

"Today is the first debugging, and to be honest, I don’t have high hopes for it. I expect loads of problems..."

"Blah blah blah~~"

He Shulin continued ’softly’ speaking.

The people around occasionally glanced over, making it hard to discern what they were thinking, but no one directly contradicted him, considering they were not well-versed in the situation, and according to He Shulin, Zhao Yi certainly did make so questionable decisions.

Down below.

The Warhawk’s technical personnel checked the entire plane, then began the equipnt debugging, focusing on electronic equipnt but also including the weapons bay, landing gear, and movable parts like wings, the upper air intake, tail fins, etc.

The site would also simulate the wind force experienced during flight to test the automatic control system and see how the automated components were functioning.

Shortly after.

The debugging work started.

The first check was on the electronic equipnt, and unsurprisingly everything was normal because it had been tested many tis before assembly; like a normally functioning computer, the probability of sothing going wrong when changing its location was low, and if there were problems, they’d likely be just connection issues with the wiring.

Then ca the weapons bay and landing gear; they also functioned normally.

Next ca the most crucial and most likely to have issues: the automatic control system. The debugging of the automatic control system involved the movent of various controllable components and simulated the wind conditions in-flight to examine how the equipnt functioned.

This part of the debugging created a lot of noise; people had to cover their ears tightly even while on the second floor. The blowing from the large fans created a loud noise throughout the area and the wind made the site a bit chaotic, but the debugging proceeded normally.

From the second floor, onlookers could only see each part of the airplane running in sequence, appearing to operate smoothly without any halts.

After running for more than half an hour, the large fans were turned off, and the automatic control system debugging ca to an end.

Then, reporting voices could be heard, "Tail fin operation normal!"

"Variable-sweep wings operation normal!"

"Upper air intake opening and closing normally... "

"..."

A series of ’normal reports’ followed, and Zhao Yi continued to monitor other data.

On the second floor.

Liu Jiankun and his team also received the debugging report and several people crowded together to look at it closely.

He Shulin was among them.

As he looked at several pages of ’normal operation’, He Shulin was very surprised; he even forgot his manners and flipped through the report rapidly, page by page, until reaching the end where he couldn’t help but exclaim in astonishnt, "All normal?"

"Impossible!"

"How could everything be normal on the first debugging? With these results, it could be ready to install the engine."

"It must be fake, definitely!"

"It can’t be!" he said, looking at the others, "Tell , which fighter jet managed to be all normal on its first debugging?"

"I was involved in the debugging of J-10 and J-20; it took over a month."

"With variable-sweep wings, upper air intake, and automatic control, Warhawk is packed with high-tech features. Logically, it would take not just one month but three months to get this right!"

He Shulin’s reasoning made sense, as the Warhawk-1’s body, aerodynamics, and electronic system designs are much more complex than other fighter jets. Normally, the more complex the structure, the more likely there are to be issues.

Now everything was running normally on the first debugging?

So people indeed began to doubt.

Liu Jiankun just smiled bitterly, patting He Shulin’s shoulder as if to express understanding, and then said, "Shulin, take it easy, don’t get so worked up."
