Chapter 1418: Chapter 53: VV (End of Volu)
“[I hope not to see it at all, I just hope these 22 rockets are a waste of effort.]”
Lin Xian turned around:
“Is it because you’re afraid?”
Jask pressed his lips:
“Yes.”
“If we can’t observe the World-Ending White Light in the universe, then it ans that the cause of this light cos from within Earth, or… it might not exist at all and only appear in your dreams.”
“If that’s the case, things beco much simpler, at least within the range we can control, operate, and change.”
“But, in the worst-case scenario, if this World-Ending White Light is truly so other aliens’ work, or an extraterrestrial high civilization’s, far more advanced than us… what can we do? What else can we do?”
“They are powerful enough to toss out light-speed weapons. Destroying us doesn’t even warrant a notice, just like crushing an ant; does an ant have any chance to resist?”
Lin Xian didn’t speak.
Because what Jask said was indeed true.
If the World-Ending White Light is a problem from inside Earth, there’s still so hope for a solution; but if it scales out to the universe, humanity stands no chance of resisting.
“However, it can’t be generalized like that.”
Lin Xian raised his head, looking at the distant galaxy:
“Humanity will eventually have to take this step, just like the stars… Whether we look up or not, they’re there shining, seemingly unrelated to us, yet always illuminating our night sky.”
With that said.
He pressed the launch button with his index finger hard!
Boom————
Boom————
Boom————
The rocket’s automatic launch program activated, sending one after another soaring towards the sky, out of the atmosphere, and into the deep space…
The next day.
The grand Antarctic expedition set off from China’s East Sea, with dozens of large and small aircraft carrying hundreds of team mbers and ample supplies, heading towards the southernmost part of Earth.
With advanced technology, there’s long been no need for ships to reach Antarctica, as large trans-oceanic planes can et all demands.
Lin Xian, Liu Feng, Gao Wen, and Hafnium Alloy VV stood on the dock, watching the fleet disappear over the horizon.
“Our reconnaissance plane has already gone ahead to investigate Antarctica.”
Gao Wen reported:
“With geological scanning, we further narrowed down the suspicious areas, whether Galileo is hidden in Antarctica or not should be known by tomorrow.”
Lin Xian nodded:
“We’ll wait here for their triumphant return.”
The operation’s commander is Jask, with Gao Yang, Du Yao, and Cheng Qian accompanying him.
Of course, VV is indispensable, as it exists everywhere.
“Prepare a plane for as well.”
Lin Xian suddenly said.
?
Liu Feng and Gao Wen were a bit surprised:
“Where are you going at this ti?” “Why the sudden business trip?”
“Don’t worry, I’ll go with VV.”
Lin Xian patted the nearby Hafnium alloy trash can:
“The two of us want to wait for a hare to co our way.”
…
This was sothing Lin Xian and VV had decided earlier—
They planned to head to Brooklyn again, to the secret base below Einstein Farm, and activate the Genius Club’s virtual eting system!
Waiting for a hare.
In this eting system, they waited for the appearance of Galileo.
Lin Xian wasn’t sure if Galileo would co, but he believed that just like Newton, if Galileo saw the Genius Club’s eting system activated once more, he’d definitely scan the NFC Golden Badge and co to the venue to see what’s happening.
This is sothing every mber of the Genius Club would be curious about.
Lin Xian wouldn’t be able to resist either.
Although, based on the geniuses’ speculations, Galileo is most likely hiding in Antarctica, it’s hard to say whether they’d catch him or if Antarctica is just a decoy.
But it doesn’t matter.
The Antarctic operation, in conjunction with the Genius Club’s eting system, is a bait for Galileo.
As long as Galileo is startled by the Antarctic investigation and cos to the Genius Club gathering, VV can trace it back and capture him!
By the ti Lin Xian and VV arrived at Einstein’s underground shelter, Jask’s Antarctic team also reached the designated area.
This region has many secret fortifications built by Germany during the Second World War, now long lost to history, buried under the Antarctic permafrost.
“Let’s go over there.”
Jask, wearing thermal clothing, pointed to a location ahead:
“Bring the machinery here, start digging from this point.”
At the sa ti.
In the Mi Country, Brooklyn, below Einstein Farm, Hafnium alloy trash can VV activated the Genius Club’s eting system:
“All set.”
VV’s right hand clip ford an “O” shape.
Swish——
The holographic projection system activated again, multicolored lights transforming the underground refuge into a splendid palace.
Altogether nine virtual high-back ebony chairs appeared out of thin air, facing the still-new brown double doors, waiting for the remaining mbers to push the doors and enter…
“As soon as Galileo scans the NFC Golden Badge, his virtual image will enter the venue, and I can imdiately lock onto him.”
Hafnium Alloy VV rubbed its palms, ready for action:
“Just see how far the Antarctic team progresses, if they can directly capture Galileo, that would be easier.”
Lin Xian activated the intercom system:
“Jask, how is the progress now.”
Through the intercom, one could hear the strong wind in Antarctica, Jask shouted:
“Currently excavating the fourth suspicious site, hopes are high this ti, we already detected faint electrical signals, indicating there’s definitely sothing below!”
“Eh, wait a mont… The reactor’s fluctuating! Biological signal! There’s a biological signal! Soone’s down there! Very faint, it should be… the hibernation pod is activating the awakening procedure!”
