For now, I’m the top lane.
That ans, simply put—
“I don’t really care about what happens in other lanes.”
As long as the lane I’m in goes well, that’s all that matters.
There’s no need to worry about other lanes.
[🗡️Omniscient Cthulhu: Absolute trash ga, haha]
[This is seriously the most ssed-up average ga]
[If the other lanes fall apart, at least pay attention...]
[Just because the top lane is fed doesn’t an it’s an automatic win]
[Hwanhee: I keep saying it, but winning isn't the goal in this ga]
[Hwanhee: The goal is to have fun]
[Mangming: Can we actually win this?]
[Mangming: I’m worried]
[Mangming: Ban’s lifted, lol]
[It’s so funny how you’re just talking about the ga now, scared, lol]
It looks like Mangming’s ban got lifted during that ti.
‘Has it been 5 minutes already?’
I didn’t keep track of the ti exactly, but since the ban was lifted, I assud they were typing in the chat.
I thought that to myself as I spoke up.
“I’ll show you how to win against the opponent with this champion.”
It wasn’t my first ti playing Solrica, and I had done it before, so I didn’t think it’d be difficult.
The poke ability of this champion is incredibly good compared to others.
As far as I know, there are players who have reached high tiers with this champion, so it was probably a decent pick.
The skill composition is solid, too.
I was thinking about that when I was about to start the laning phase.
[Ally][qqxxqq][Solrica]: Hey jungler
[Ally][qqxxqq][Solrica]: Don’t co to top
[Ally][qqxxqq][Solrica]: I’ll just solo kill if I can
[Ally][qqxxqq][Solrica]: Let’s all try our best
Even though I picked a champion for fun, that didn’t an I was giving up.
Trying your best is important.
[🗡️Omniscient Cthulhu: But if we play well, we can win]
[🗡️Omniscient Cthulhu: It’s not even a high tier, lol]
[Maybe if we were in Master tier, but at this level, cobacks are always possible]
[Platinum is just full of bugs, so cobacks happen all the ti]
[From the chat, you’d think a Challenger player is trolling]
[Hwanhee: Those guys who act like they’re high tier in chat]
[Hwanhee: Don’t believe them, yeah]
[Kang Hoo-min: lol]
“Stop with the split-picking.”
I hate split-picking.
To be more specific, I just can’t stand seeing people splitting for no reason and causing fights.
I used to be in a gallery in the original world, and there was always so idiot who’d drag random pro players into argunts for no reason.
‘Even now, it pisses off.’
Anyway, because of that, I’d ban anyone who tried split-picking as soon as I saw it in the chat.
[🗡️Omniscient Cthulhu: Split-picking is really annoying]
[For real]
[Hwanhee: So, cold ran vs hot ran, which is better?]
[Hot ran, duh]
[Cold ran is sothing vegans eat, right?]
[Speaking of vegans, I’ve seen people who eat at but still claim to be vegan]
[These guys are split-picking, so they just keep making it worse, lol]
[Kang Hoo-min: Stop it, you idiots]
[Classic, the fiery comnts from Kang]
After giving a warning, we got into the laning phase.
“I’ll poke with Q skill.”
The opponent top lane was a rabbit-eared female champion who used fists.
The clear muscle definition showed that they really put effort into the model design.
[🗡️Omniscient Cthulhu: That champion is really ugly every ti I see it]
[For real]
[The chest is so gross, haha]
[If it were a guy, maybe it’d be different]
[Hwanhee: Gotta think about the male players, yeah..]
I was having those random thoughts as I started laning.
I used my Q skill to poke, and while avoiding the opponent’s skill range, I hit them lightly and tapped their turret.
Before I knew it—
“The minion wave difference is already 35.”
The difference in minion count, a key indicator of laning phase success, was huge.
If we convert just one minion to 20 gold, that’s a 700 gold difference.
Maybe it was because the opponent was playing a champion without any mobility, but it wasn’t that hard.
anwhile, in the bot lane—
[Enemy slain!]
[Double kill!]
“They’re doing so well, why’d they fight in pick?”
They were racking up impressive kills.
Oh, of course, it wasn’t because of the jungler’s help.
Our jungler, with red glasses, didn’t intervene in lanes all day and just fard the jungle.
I was thankful that they weren’t feeding.
That said, mid lane was a bit serious.
Piri-ri-.
I checked mid lane occasionally during the laning phase and only heard a child playing a flute while riding a snowman.
The minion count was shockingly low, at 20.
It seed like they had given up on the lane.
“Why make that choice...?”
It wasn’t like the other lanes were losing.
I thought it was pathetic as I broke the turret.
[Enemy turret destroyed!]
A sentence echoed across the Rift.
But the aning was simple.
A warrior champion had pushed down a support champion’s turret without jungle intervention.
That ant the top lane had lost.
“Easy.”
I said that, and not long after—
Flash—.
The enemy top started throwing skills into the air, then used Flash.
They then pressed control and 4 together to show so emotional expression.
“Young kid, how did you end up like this...”
It seed like their ntal was completely gone.
Even with Flash, it would’ve been hard to catch , and since they wasted Flash into the air, they could never catch .
It’s pitiful, but it’s still a competition.
[All][LondonIsDangerous][Solrica]: Losing because you can’t play
[All][LondonIsDangerous][Solrica]: Don’t pretend to throw, lol
[All][LondonIsDangerous][Solrica]: A bit pathetic
I typed in the chat just in case.
If the enemy top decided to throw afterward, they’d beco a “cool loser” pretending it was fun. And if they stayed alive without dying, they’d just be “losing because they couldn’t play.”
I don’t usually type these kinds of ssages, but since they wasted Flash into the air, I thought it wasn’t a good look, so I sent it.
‘I’ve seen this kind of thing a lot when the jungler is caught.’
Even in normal gas, when I couldn’t play ranked, there were plenty of players like that.
I guess you could call it learned disgust.
I thought that as I slowly started finishing the ga with my team.
Of course, even then, our mid lane was still just playing the flute.
The enemy top lane was doing push-ups with our mid.
[🗡️Omniscient Cthulhu: They really fit the phrase “birds of a feather”]
[Ugh, it’s really disgusting]
[These guys need to die]
[Please report, please report, please report, please report, please report]
[Mangming: Wow...]
[Mangming: Players like them are really disgusting...]
[Info) Mangming has had this kind of enemy too]
[Oh my]
[Harin: Mangming is managing her image, no bad chat, please]
[Kang Hoo-min: These guys need to be put down]
After that, the ga went on smoothly.
Despite the chaos in the pick phase, there was nothing notable in the ga itself.
The most that happened was that Notellus occasionally typed “Hang in there.”
I wondered how much ti had passed.
[Victory!]
The victory ssage appeared on the monitor.
“We won, but it feels a bit off.”
[But winning is still better]
[It’s better than losing]
[🗡️Omniscient Cthulhu: That was a really painful ga to watch...]
[Hwanhee: I really hope we don’t have players like that in the next ga]
[Why do people like that get carried? lol]
[Harin: Still, we won]
But still, we won, so we should enjoy the victory.
Before that though.
“I’ll report them with the hate checkbox checked.”
Since their behavior was disgusting, I figured it was okay to check the hate box.
I wondered how I could see sothing so disgusting in my life, stretching as I thought.
Then I checked the current viewers.
Maybe there were around 70 viewers, I guessed.
But—
“…What’s this? Where did they all co from?”
The viewers had already surpassed 200.
Was I seeing this correctly?
The chat was fine, so it didn’t seem like there had been an invasion, but...
I needed to figure out why the viewer count had spiked.
