Actually, Jihoo didn’t mind Mangming trying to make small talk. After all, it wasn’t coming from a malicious place.

“Oh, yes. She’s my younger sister,” Jihoo said.

[Oh, a younger sister.]

[Omniscient Cthulhu: Hey, does your sister know...]

[Omniscient Cthulhu: ...about all the stuff you’ve posted in the community?]

[Gasp.]

[Hey, dude, you can’t say that!]

[Hwanhee: Protect Dama’s privacy, protect Dama’s privacy, protect Dama’s privacy!]

[Privacy is sacred, honestly.]

[Kang Hoo-min: What happens in the community should stay in the community.]

[True, true, wise words.]

Shortly after that—

[Mangming has donated 1,000 won!]

-Have you ever watched my stream, by any chance? ㅎㅎ

It was an unexpected question. Considering Yeram’s daily habits, it seed unlikely that she had, but Jihoo decided to check just in case.

“Hey, have you ever heard of a strear called Mangming?”

Mangming was sowhat famous among Reore players, so it was possible Yeram knew of him. Jihoo vaguely rembered her acknowledging the na before.

“What’s that? A dog’s na?”

“Never mind.”

“What’s that supposed to an?” Yeram flopped onto the floor, clearly exhausted.

Strange. Jihoo could’ve sworn she had ntioned knowing the na before. Had he misheard?

“Just don’t say anything weird. I’m streaming,” Jihoo warned.

“Okay,” Yeram mumbled.

Though she wasn’t the type to ss around, Jihoo couldn’t completely rule out the possibility, so he stayed cautious. Checking his chat, he saw it had erupted into chaos.

[Omniscient Cthulhu: LOL!]

[Omniscient Cthulhu: A dog’s na, ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ.]

[Mang-dog Ming, lol.]

[Is this why people call him ‘Mangdog’?]

[Did she ask that knowing full well?]

[‘A dog’s na?’ ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ.]

[Thinking it’s a dog’s na actually makes sense, though.]

Jihoo sighed, regretting his decision to ask.

“She doesn’t know him,” Jihoo said bluntly.

[Mangming has donated 1,000 won!]

-Ah… that’s okay. Not many people know anyway, ㅎㅎ.

That response tugged at Jihoo’s heartstrings. It seed like Mangming was brushing it off in good humor, but the comnt hinted at so underlying frustrations.

“I’ll make sure to explain who you are to her after the stream, so don’t worry,” Jihoo said.

Educating Yeram on Mangming’s identity and persona seed like the best way to prevent any future mishaps.

‘I don’t want things to get awkward between us.’

While Jihoo didn’t care much about others’ opinions, he still valued maintaining a decent public image and avoiding unnecessary drama.

[Mangming has donated 1,000 won!]

-No worries. See you next ti!

“Oh, sure. Have a good one!” Jihoo replied.

[Omniscient Cthulhu: Finally, Mangdog is leaving. Phew.]

[Omniscient Cthulhu: What a long stay.]

[Hwanhee: Seriously, overstayed way too much.]

[Why doesn’t he focus on his own stream instead of showing up here?]

[Why would a random person even know who he is, lol.]

[So people are roasting him too hard. What did Mangming even do to deserve this?]

[He deserves it.]

As soon as Mangming left, the chat devolved into more mockery. It wasn’t hard to imagine why Mangming had a polarizing reputation among viewers.

“Well, I guess I’ll play a few more solo gas and call it a day,” Jihoo announced.

He wasn’t planning on pulling an all-nighter. Streaming was just a hobby for him, so there was no need to grind endlessly.

[Omniscient Cthulhu: Just play 10 more gas. ㅇㅇ.]

[10 gas sounds about right.]

[Kang Hoo-min: Statistically, playing about 10 more gas maximizes your stream’s overall growth.]

[Based reasoning as usual, lol.]

“Alright, so I’m at Gold 5 with 22 points…” Jihoo calculated.

“If I win about 4 to 10 more gas, I’ll rank up.”

[Omniscient Cthulhu: That’s such a big range.]

[Variance is insane, lol.]

[Hwanhee: What kind of black hole is that margin of error?]

[Well, it’s not wrong.]

[Kang Hoo-min: Let’s take it slow and steady.]

[Telling soone to win slowly is basically a curse, lol.]

Jihoo launched into another ga, curious to see how quickly he could finish.

“Alright, that’s it for today’s stream.”

[Bye-bye! Bye-bye! Bye-bye!]

[Finally, it’s over.]

[Poor Mangming, getting ignored and roasted, lol.]

[Honestly, he’s not even obscure. Why didn’t she know him?]

[5,000 subscribers isn’t obscure, is it?]

[5,000 subs is impressive in the Reore community.]

The chat rambled on with pointless debates, but Jihoo addressed a specific comnt that caught his attention.

“Objectively speaking, 5,000 subscribers is a lot. Why are you downplaying it?” Jihoo said.

[Hmm… guess you’re right.]

[5,000 is definitely big.]

[Mangming is basically corporate-tier.]

[A strear with 5,000 subs and 3,000 concurrent viewers? That’s insane.]

[It’s just that his sub-to-viewer ratio is high.]

“Well, anyway, don’t look for after I end the stream,” Jihoo said, his tone firm.

[Sure, we won’t.]

[Just log off already.]

[These people are too much, lol.]

[Watch them raid his forum thread later, though.]

With one last look at the ever-chaotic chat, Jihoo ended the stream.

After shutting everything down, Jihoo stretched and fiddled with his sky-blue hair—a result of last week’s punishnt bet. With no imdiate plans, he debated queueing up for a solo ga but decided against it.

‘I don’t feel like dealing with another losing streak.’

Instead, he browsed Twiss for so content to watch.

“Oh,” Jihoo murmured, spotting a familiar stream.

It was Mangming’s stream.

‘I’ll just lurk. As long as I don’t type in chat, no one will know.’

Clicking into the stream, Jihoo settled in to observe.

The chat on Mangming’s stream was buzzing despite the modest viewer count of 78.

“Not bad,” Jihoo muttered, curious to see how Mangming handled himself in-ga.

As he watched, a comnt caught his attention.

-I can’t stand people who act all cool when they’re terrible at the ga. What’s their deal?

The chat exploded.

[Gasp!]

[Is that a Mangming callout?]

[Omniscient Cthulhu: Mangming slander, lol.]

[Hwanhee: You’re done for now.]

[Even if Mangming’s an idiot, this is too far.]

Jihoo flinched at the sudden tension in the air.
