When Lin Wanwan and Xiao Chong entered the house, Grandpa Lin had already gone out for a walk.

Every evening, if he’s not on the night shift, Grandpa Lin would take a stroll around the neighborhood, chatting with neighbors and family relatives.

Lin Wanwan directly took Xiao Chong with her, carrying the curtain bag and the telescopic rod, and went upstairs to her room.

This was the first ti in both lifetis that Xiao Chong entered Lin Wanwan’s room. His face couldn’t help but blush slightly, but luckily Lin Wanwan didn’t notice.

There wasn’t much furniture in the room, and it was very clean and tidy.

A small bed covered with a pink-edged lazy mosquito net, a natural wood-colored wardrobe, a desk of the sa color sche, and a matching square stool.

The window on the west side was quite large, and the glass was wiped clean.

Xiao Chong shook open the canvas he had painted for three days and aired for a day, took apart the head of the no-punch telescopic rod, threaded the curtain holes through the rod, then climbed onto the stool, stretched out his arms, adjusted and fixed the position of the curtain rod.

Lin Wanwan, taking advantage of the indoor lighting, looked at the curtains being hung and murmured, "Is it unbelievable that this curtain costs only one hundred and fifty-eight? The patterns on it don’t even look like they were machine printed, they seem more like they were painted by hand, the colors are just too beautiful."

Xiao Chong smiled without saying a word, jumped off the stool, and stood shoulder to shoulder with Lin Wanwan to appreciate the painting together.

The canvas did not co with light-blocking paint, although the material was quite thick, when hung up, so light still filtered through, just enough to decorate the gaps in the painting and created a romantic collision of light and shadow.

The room imdiately had the atmosphere of a sea view room, the air even seed to carry a slightly moist and sticky scent.

Xiao Chong was quite satisfied with the artwork he had worked day and night on, skipping classes to create it.

Although ti was tight, not a single bit of his usual standard was lost. It even slightly surpassed the original painting that he had worked on for over a month and had gone up for auction.

However, the thought that with the curtains, he wouldn’t be able to see Lin Wanwan from next door, he stepped forward, pulled them open with a swoosh, allowing the moonlight to pour in without obstruction.

"What are you doing?" Lin Wanwan was still imrsed in the curtain’s scene when suddenly interrupted by Xiao Chong, feeling a bit displeased.

Xiao Chong said calmly, "It’s still early, you wouldn’t pull the curtains shut this early, would you? When you’re writing or reading, it’s still better to have them open for more light."

Lin Wanwan was speechless, "Co on, it’s nightti, how can it still be bright outside?"

"Anyway, don’t pull them shut before you sleep." Xiao Chong said as he gazed at Lin Wanwan, his dark eyes particularly oppressive, making it impossible to refute him and instinctively follow what he said.

Lin Wanwan averted her eyes and said a soft "Oh".

Xiao Chong must be a reincarnated king of hexers, his eyes seem to have a hypnotic function, eting his gaze for a while makes one dizzy.

Lin Wanwan silently complained in her heart.

Xiao Chong looked around, ca to Lin Wanwan’s desk, and asked, "Wanwan, don’t you have a bookshelf here?"

Lin Wanwan shook her head, "No, the books that aren’t used often are kept in boxes, the ones that are frequently used are just placed on the desk."

Though there was no bookshelf, there was a book holder on the desk, which could also organize and store a row of books.

Xiao Chong glanced at them, they were mostly reference books or textbooks, no extracurricular books.

The book of "The Count of Monte Cristo" on the desk was one she borrowed from his study.

"Let’s go, downstairs."

The room wasn’t large, squeezing in with a six-foot-two guy like Xiao Chong, it felt like even the air beca thinner, breathing was difficult, so Lin Wanwan was eager to go downstairs.

Xiao Chong naturally wouldn’t linger in her room either, with his hands in his pockets, he leisurely followed behind her, looking at the fluffy top of her ponytailed head, in a good mood, his hands itching, restraining himself from reaching out to rub it.

The young Wanwan had a kind of unconscious and natural allure, like a small fawn in the mountains tempting the young monk to break precepts, looking absolutely delightful.

After going downstairs, Xiao Chong didn’t stay long at Lin Wanwan’s house and soon took his leave.

In everything, excess is not good, the current pace was just right, he wasn’t soone who liked to cling all the ti.

Both beauty and freedom were important.

Lin Wanwan did so simple cleaning at ho, washed her grandpa’s and her clothes, then went upstairs back to her room to study.

Glancing across, she saw the light in Xiao Chong’s study was on, but there was no one inside.
