Calming down and seeing that the surrounding people had glanced over at as if I was crazy after suddenly freaking out, I began quickly walking away, slightly embarrassed.

I thought that maybe I was going crazy and such a thing couldn't possibly exist, but I had nothing to lose from attempting to respond to it.
"Is this real? And how are you speaking in my head?" I said under my breath, not wanting to speak too loudly and appear to be a schizophrenic to the surrounding few.

Although I liked to keep myself busy with training and working, I had read my fair share of novels in my life and knew what a system was.
But who would have thought one would actually exist?
