As he reached closer, suddenly, his eyes got attracted by a flickering glint and he halted in his tracks. Tilting his head towards the roof of this open ground, he asks It, "Um, can I take the cores from the goblin's body?"

Hearing Its reply, Whittaker bead a happy smile.

Elder Zachary chuckled in amusent. He was amused at the actions of the snowy-haired boy, who have decided to unearth dirt. For him, a re 1-star goblin was the sa as dirt, but for Whittaker, it was a treasure trove. He thought, "Is that boy simply greedy or did he ca from a poor background? Or else, why would he unearth dirt? Nina, can you check what's his background is?'

She had already obtained all information about Whittaker before Elder Zachary even asked her because she was interested in the boy, who will beco the most handso man in the entire Awakened continent according to her database. Her database was very wide, and she had a lot of information about different races of the seven land located in the Awakened continent.

As he heard her reply, a glint flashed through his elderly erald eyes filled with wisdom that can only be gained through the passages of ti. He says while stroking his beard thoughtfully,

Today, he stopped working and it's all because Whittaker, an F-ranked mage who managed to complete the monster dungeon in less than 15 seconds and activated the inheritance trial of Elder Zachary. Nina replied: Over the past hundreds of years a lot of things have changed. The Fla kingdom is split into three-part as the emperor of Fla suddenly died, and the crown prince had gone missing in actions. The relation between the Kingdom of light and our two kingdoms has worsened over the years due to a lot of reasons. 12 years ago, the Greatest of all Evils, Battle Progenitor was slain and the mantle of the greatest evil was taken by a rciless man covered in black armor. He was entitled the Ruined King as everywhere he goes, Death and Ruins follows!
One by one, Nina started to list out all the important happening in the past.
Soon after, Elder Zachary furiously slamd his right fist on the sofa arm. "I was preparing It for Abbadon but seems like It may just get used on soone else. Damn! I never thought that our kingdom will be embroiled in an internal struggle. Fuck! I fucking advised the emperor of Water and the Emperor of Wind to annihilate any trace of the church of light and their believers from the kingdom and they disagreed, but now that decision has caused such a big problem. Sigh!" Elder Zachary shakes his head left and right while heaving because of old age.
P.S: The Emperors he is referring to are the father of the current emperors.
Nina advised pitifully: Calm down. Your heart conditions are barely stable because of sharing a part of your soul with , excessive anger will lead to the worsening of your condition. Calm down please!
Elder Zachary cald down after hearing her words. He understood why his old friend, Headmaster Yeon had to hide information about Whittaker class weapon from the world,
"It indeed is a good thod to protect his life. Sigh, the Water Kingdom and the Wind Kingdom seems peaceful on the surface, but a lot of internal struggle is going on. There's also outside problem as Abbadon, our old enemy has chosen his devil vessel!"

Hearing Nina reply, Whittaker's eyes brightened in glee and he started plowing out the cores from the body of the dead goblins. In the end, he got 297 cores from 470 corpses. All of them were battle energy cores.
"Damn!" He tried to store all of them in his Hunter's ring, but it has beco full. He was only able to store less than 1/4th of the total amount of the battle energy cores.
He regretfully thought, 'My hunter's ring can only store a maximum of 60 items. I should have upgraded it! Should I use the system's inventory? But then again, they might notice sothing if I do that. I better not! Even though no one knows how strong Elder Zachary is, yet everyone knows of his deep and distinguished background. He is said to be friends with the Mage King! Plus, he is said to be an alchemist, who will do anything to achieve what he wants!'
Whittaker decided against using his system inventory. Out of the dozen or so books that he had read, he had gained knowledge about the famous personalities of the awakened continent. Also, one of them was Elder Zachary, an alchemist that has mastered Five different sub-professions related to Alchemy. He was an expert in forging, creating magical formations, creature forging, and creating elixirs and potions!
"Sigh~ my precious, I got to leave you all behind!" He said while mournfully gazing at the battle cores. It was as if his first love has denied his confession, and he had beco heartbroken!
