"The legendary beast taming thod? What is it?" Whittaker intently gazed at Shadow, displaying his curiosity about this legendary thod.
"The legendary way to ta a magical beast is to reach its heart. The way to a magical beast heart is through its stomach!" Shadow smiled and pulled out four wrapped beast snack bars from his spatial ring.
"This thod only worked with so magical beasts. There are many other thods to induce a magical beast to submit to a person, such as gratitude, enticent, and overwhelming force. But for puppies, the best thod is the legendary thod. Feed them with ultimate delicacies till they submit to you." He handed two to Whittaker and held on to two bars. He said to Whittaker, "Follow my actions!"
"Sure!" At this ti, Whittaker realized that knowledge is what he must obtain.
Saying that Shadow unwrapped the snack bar with one swift movent and a delicious aroma started to diffuse in the surrounding.
The puppies, who stood guard, slled it. One of them, as if it was enchanted by the sll of the snack bar, started to move towards Shadow. No, it moved towards the snack bar with wide-opened eyes and a salivating mouth.
The other pups saw their littermate going away, so they gazed at it with worrying eyes.
Right then, Whittaker opened the second snack bar. The delicious aroma sll filled the room once again, this ti the strong-willed puppies couldn't stop their instincts from acting up.
Mother and Father had said that they will co back with foods, but they still aren't here, these puppies were really hungry!
They jumped out to reach toward the snack bars to take a lick out of it.
Then a war between Snack bars and wolf puppies started.
The puppies drilled their sharp canines into the soft beast snack bars and shattered it into small pieces. Then they started to eat the small pieces, one by one.
Soon after, the four pups finished their snacks and gazed at Shadow and Whittaker with hopeful eyes.
Shadow smiled and pulled out more snack bars from his spatial ring. Sharing it with Whittaker equally, they started to feed the pups.
Five minutes later, the wolf pups have exposed their vulnerable sides to the two towering giants. The rolled-over, exposing their white furry and soft belly as if asking for a rub.
The belly rub was giving to them without a doubt. They purred in bliss and started to close their eyes while thinking 'Nothing is better than sleeping after a full stomach.'
And so, they went off to sleep without a care in the world.
The two boys looked at each other, Whittaker said, "What should we do with them?"
He was feeling a tad bit guilty for killing their parents.
Shadow replied, "Snow wolf pups are considered a rare treasure in the market. They have many desperate buyers, who would do anything in their power to obtain them. According to the official market rate, snow wolf pups are sold for around 100-1000 platinum bars each. The higher the quality the higher the price of the pup. And, these fours are of top-notch quality, so there will be a lot of buyers! So, we will either keep them or sell them."
By the ti Shadow finished with his know it all speech, Whittaker guilt had increased. He had a guild-ridden expression enacted on his face. He said, "But we Killed their parents and family mbers!"
Shadow said to the guilt-ridden Whittaker, "There is no need to feel bad. My mother used to say "Crying over split milk is useless". What's done is done and we can't change it, no matter what. Anyway, If we leave them here then they won't be able to live for another day. They will either starve to death or get eaten by other magical beasts." While saying that Shadow handed over two scrolls to Whittaker, while he held two more scrolls in his hands.
"I don't want either event to happen to them, let's keep them," Whittaker said, gazing at the cuties who had fallen asleep.
Shadow said, "It's better if we ta them as our pets and then, later on, if we don't want to keep them, sell them to a suitable buyer."
Whittaker stared into his eyes and in the end, took two beast taming scrolls from Shadow's hands. He had decided to take responsibility for two of the four puppies.
"Pour your mana into the scroll and it will activate. Then choose the pup you want to ta and it will beco contracted to you." Shadow said while doing what he just said.
He put his battle energy into the scroll and it activated. A magical blue circle opened beneath two of the pups and they were contracted to him. With a poof, they vanished.
They vanished! "Where did they go?" Whittaker asked, his head turning left and right as if trying to locate the puppies.
