Even Birdy realized that it's the truth. If he wanted them death then they would certainly die without the ability to defend themselves.
They both cautiously stared at the golden-haired Dean, who said with a greedy smile,
"Old man, You are her guardian yet you are appearing just after she nearly died. If I wasn't here then she would have surely died. I helped her, healed her with my life force. You should be grateful yet you labeled as a pervert and attacked with the intention to kill. How are you going to compensate ?!"
Realizing that he won't attack, their nerves cald down, and understanding that they have misunderstood the situation, the two, human and spirit, stared at each other in the eyes.
Birdy thought: "It's better to have enemies than pig-like teammates!"
Yin Ye replied: "Don't worry. I will sohow resolve this conflict!"
His eyes moved towards Frankenstein, eyes thinning into a friendly smile, he said
"Forgive , young friend. I have misunderstood you. I will compensate you with whatever you ask but can you tell , just who are you, able to use Sword domain at such a young age,"
Frankenstein extended one of his hands and showed Yin Ye the blessing of twilight. He then said,
"We share the sa mark yet you don't know ?"
Yin Ye's mouth gaped, eyes popped in surprise.
"There's only one person who could be this talented and is allied with the twilight spirits. Could it be, you are"
"Hehe, normally, I go by the na of Frankenstein but I was also once Crowned as the soon to be Emperor of fla, Nemredilth Nietsneknarf!"
Yin Ye was cut off in the middle of his sentence by Frankenstein, who was hugged tightly by the unconscious Laila. Even though she was unconscious, Laila had gripped his hand and shirt very tightly, thinking that Frankenstein was her mother who will die if she let go.
"Crown prince," The mont he revealed the truth of his identity, Yin Ye and birdy instantly turned respectful and beads of sweat start to form on their bodies. They were pressurized as they both have offended soone of a higher status.
Master Yin and Birdy didn't want to offend him or the twilight's spirit because of a misunderstanding, hence they tried to appear ek and friendly to resolve this situation here and now.
"The Crown Prince!"
Yin Ye and Birdy would normally not even respect the Emperors but they have to be respectful in front of the crown prince of fla. He was powerful enough to kill them, after all. Plus, everyone working under the twilight spirit and the mbers of the Twilight Walker departnt knows that the Twilight spirit princess is deeply in love with the crown prince of fla who mysteriously vanished off the face of the entire continent years ago.
"So he was hiding here!" Yin Ye and Birdy's half-kneeling gave a thoughtful look to each other.
So also know that the princess of the twilight clan is engaged with him. If the situation worsens then even their guild might be in danger, hence they tried to pacify it instantly.
"No need to be so courteous. Drop the formalities and co here. Let's talk about compensation!" Frankenstein commanded.
Rushing forward, Yin Ye and Birdy stood before him.
"What would you like, I'm ready to give it to you!" Yin ye said.
Frankenstein smiled. He slightly lifted his snow-white arms and rubbed his slender fingers on the middle of his palm. He then pointed his forefinger at Birdy.
"Do you understand?" He asked.
"This" Yin Ye was shocked, so was Birdy. The golden-haired man was demanding Birdy as compensation.
They didn't dare to defy his order and hence hugged each other for one last ti.
"Master, I will miss you," Birdy said while patting his back with its wings. However, it was very happy, 'I am so lucky, am going to finally get free from my poor master and beco a rich man's contracted spirit!'
" too!" Yin replied while crying in its chest. However, the situation would have been different only if he knew what birdy was thinking.
He would have stabbed it!
After sharing their sad goodbye, Yin Ye canceled his contract with the beast, and instantly a drop of deep red bloodshot out from Frankenstein's hand and landed on its forehead.
"Eh?" Birdy mouth and eyes opened wide in surprise because it wasn't contracted to the rich, handso, and powerful expert. It was contracted to Laila.
"What happened?" Yin Ye asked but Birdy was still in shock so it didn't reply.
The Dean crossed his legs and bead a smile towards birdy. "I happen to like this student, she's very hardworking and caring and deserving of a reward. Birdy, protect her in my place. That's an order,"
'What dumb luck!' Birdy internally thought. Outwardly, its head was moving up and down, nodding in agreent.
Frankenstein's words, "That's an order" ant if you dare defy then I dare to cook you as my next dish, after all. Birdy believed that it was still too young to die so it followed his order.
And so, Shadow or Laila obtained a bird from the spirit world as her pet!
Yin Ye, on the other hand, was very happy. At first, he was very sad at losing the spirit world beast he raised and fed. However, he was now happy as his granddaughter was the one that benefited in the end.
"Thank you, your highness, for bestowing a gift to my granddaughter, Lord Ze and Lord Yi will surely be happy if they know about this," he said to Frankenstein, who was showing extre favoritism to Laila.
"Not a big deal," He replied calmly.
After expressing his gratitude, Master Yin Ye asked with a face full of worries, "Can I check her conditions?"
