Elder Zachary felt pleased as everyone laughed because of his joke, he took his ID card and carefully stored it. Whereas Whittaker felt weirded out.
"Elder, why are they laughing so hard? Did so kind of sickness made them mad?" He asked while pushing Elder Zachary Wheelchair to the monolith.
Realizing that they were rely laughing to keep his heart, the smile instantly vanished from his face. "Sigh, I should have accepted a stupid student. This one is too smart for my good!" He regretfully thought while replying,
"Maybe, who knows,"
Soon after, they reached nearby the rune circle.
"It's been a long ti since I last visited. Tower spirit, do you still rember ?" He muttered while placing his hand on the runic circle at the base of the 100-floor tall monolith structure.
"How could I forget you. You are the only one who managed to destroy the floor of my ho. And, I'm glad that you took so ti to visit . You should visit often!" An angry yet happy tone resounded.
"Haha, this might very well be my last visit; However, my inheritor will be visiting you quite often. Anyway, Jafar, send us to the 31st floor!" Elder Zachary joyfully replied.
In the very mont, two streams of resplendent light shone down from the skies and created a gateway that said Floor 31st.
The spirit of the tower certainly missed this child. "How long has it been?" It wondered. "You used to be an erald silk pant wearing arrogant young master but you have grown up to be a respectable figure!" Jafar announced Elder Zachary's embarrassing past to Whittaker, who hid his smile when Elder Zachary gaze at him.
"I shouldn't say anything to the spirit unless it exposes all my embarrassing secret to my student"
While thinking that, he said to Whittaker,
"Co on, let's go!"
The pillars of light contained mysterious space-type magical rune designs, hence Whittaker morized them. He then entered the spatial gateway with his master.
The mont Whittaker and Elder Zachary entered the spatial gateway, they vanished from there and were teleported inside the thirty-first floor of the tower, as per Elder Zachary's will.
Whittaker brought himself to full attention and curiously observed the legendary creature, a dragon for the first ti in his life.

At the sa ti, they caught the attention of the ten-ter tall Young Water dragon. The dragon also turned to take a look at the visitor. It stepped forward, its beady eyes with vertical slits were focused on the small humans that it so desired to eat!
The dragon scales were shining in a dark blue color. To Whittaker, it felt like a jeweled mountain was gradually coming closer as the beast stepped towards them. Its eyes shined with a terrifying light. Instantly, a Draconic pressure spread out.
"Huff-huff-huff Gulp!" Suddenly, Whittaker's chest heaved for he was breathless for a while. He swallowed his saliva and drops of sweat rolled down his forehead as he was pressurized by the draconic pressure of the Water dragon!
As it stood, a crippled old man and a little boy was simply not a threat to it. Its humongous jaws opened wide and it roared powerfully.
Gahhhhhh!!!
The sound was grating to the ears but Whittaker was more afraid of its sparkly sharp teeth and its ability.
When the dragon roared, Blue elental mana converged at the center of its mouth, and Noah notified Whittaker
[Be careful, Guardian. The young water dragon is about to use its elental spell "Water Blast!"]
The dragon planned to shot out a blast to end their lives...
"Elder, if you don't do anything now then we will beco its dinner!" Whittaker said between breaths. Moreover, both his class weapons materialized in the physical world.
"You don't need to do anything. Just watch and learn!" Zachary said.
"Eh... Okay!" Whittaker simply stared, trusting that Elder Zachary won't let him be hard.
Whittaker wasn't calm; However, Elder Zachary did not let himself slip up in front of a re Water dragon. He rely positioned the wooden board with Fla Wave rune towards the Water dragon and activated it.
Mana waves from the surrounding rushed into the rune design.
As it was a perfect-tier rune, Elder Zachary didn't need to use the mana in his mana pool to activate it.
[Fire Wave]
At the sa mont, the water dragon released its attack!
[Draconic Water Blast]
Fire Wave and Draconic Water Blast, the two attacks clashed in the middle and produced a disastrous blast.
BOOM! The land shook from the impact as fire, water and stream spread out. anwhile, Whittaker's surroundings glowed and a transparent shield of light appeared around him and Elder Zachary.
Right after, a wave of fla and water crashed on top of the shield yet the shield didn't budge even a single inch from its place.
"It's ti to roast it!" Elder Zachary said with a smile.
[Fire Wave]
The fire wave rune activated and a wave of fla crashed on the unprepared Water dragon.
Boom!
The fla wave scorched its body. It howled in pain, as its scales were blasted, rupturing the softer skin inside and leaving it defenseless for the next attack.
Low-level runes could be utilized three tis!

Continuing with the montum, a fla wave rushed towards the unprepared Water dragon once more.
Boom!
The last attack blasted the already mangled body of the ten-ter tall monster, cutting short its roaring moans of pain as blood and brain matter splattered all around
Whittaker's blood was boiling in excitent as he witnessed how easily Elder Zachary has defeated the C-ranked Water dragon by rely using a perfect-tier low/basic-level magic rune!
"Elder, I can't wait to start learning inscription and amass a fortune of offensive magic runes!" Whittaker honestly declared his thoughts and Elder Zachary laughed while thinking,
'Now that I have shown him the power of magic rune, he will surely invest himself in learning them every day!"
