"Airdrop incoming! Enemies at 270! Full squad of four!"

"I'm popping smoke! Getting angles, getting angles!"

"Charge, charge, charge! Downed two! They're running left!"

"I've got the LMG aid! They're all dead! Squad wiped!"

"NICE!"

The chaotic voices stread through the headset as the live strear on the Tigerfish platform, "Brother Long," watched the kill alerts. The barrage of ssages from his fans also flooded the live stream page: "666," "Brother Long, Brother Long, singing for you," "Welcoming the Warrior God Dragon King's return," and "You are the dragon!" Seeing this, his lips curled into a devilishly charming and roguish grin.

It had been several years since the release of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), and its popularity had declined significantly compared to the past. However, a major update had recently arrived, introducing new maps, new weapons, new actions, improved graphics and controls, and an unprecedented crackdown on cheats. The days of "Immortals everywhere, cheaters as common as dogs" were gone, luring old players back to the ga and temporarily restoring the category's top spot on live streaming platforms.

Brother Long, as a veteran PUBG strear who had been on the platform for years, had neither joined during the ga's peak popularity nor left during its lull to stream other gas. Consequently, he reaped the benefits of the ga's resurgence. Additionally, a bunch of bizarre "Warrior God Dragon King" s had recently gone viral online, bringing fresh blood into his stream.

This ti, three teammates were matched with him: one was a fellow male strear from the sa platform, and the other two were a rich patron and a girl he had brought along. The patron and the girl had poor aim and ga sense, but Brother Long and the other male strear had decent FPS skills. Taking advantage of the current cheat-free environnt, they had already wiped out three teams in the first circle and even had the leeway to let the patron score a few kills to liven up the atmosphere in the stream.

"Seven kills and unscathed! The first bet payout is here—a five-million-fishball disaster!"

Brother Long let the patron loot the airdrop first while he turned to fiddle with the live stream interface on his secondary monitor. Shaking his head, he said sarcastically, "Not bad, not bad at all. Seeing these fans who bet against

wailing is quite satisfying."

[BOO HOO HOO, bros, the wind on the rooftop is so cold]

[Damn, three years of obscurity and forbearance, only to culminate in today's eruption... The Warrior God Dragon King is terrifying!]

[Brother Long is so handso and cute, I want to keep one at ho and smash his glasses with my fists every day!]

The screen was flooded with a chaotic barrage of comnts. The feeling of all his viewers gathered together reminded Brother Long of the day his neighbor, annoyed by the noise from his streaming, had co to kick down his door with a kitchen knife.

It had been a long ti since he'd seen such lively bullet comnts.

Brother Long felt a surge of emotion, but his face remained composed. Smiling, he said, "Alright, brothers, next up, I'm starting a new bet: twelve kills without going down! Everyone, hurry and place your bets..."

"Brother Long, Brother Long."

The other male strear's puzzled voice ca through the headset, "Look at the mountain to the west. What's that thing up there?"

"Huh?"

Brother Long moved his mouse, looking towards the western slope, and spotted a faint white dot on the peak.

What was that?

He switched to an assault rifle with a 4x scope and peered through it. He could vaguely make out a figure wearing a Dragon Head Mask and a white lab coat, standing atop the mountain. Next to it stood a Western-style coffin, red and gray, with a Goat Skull motif on its surface.

"Huh?"

Brother Long was stunned, murmuring, "Isn't that Reaper's coffin from Overwatch? Since when did PUBG have a crossover with Overwatch?"

Although the new PUBG version had added a lot of new content, Brother Long, who had thoroughly read the update notes three tis, was absolutely certain there was no ntion of anything related to a coffin.

Could it be a cheat?

"Hey, wait a second!" The patron in the team had already looted the airdrop and said in the team voice chat, "I've bought all the new version's skins, but I've never seen this kind of Dragon Head Mask. Where did this person get this costic?"

The other male strear chid in, "Could it be cheat-made? I've heard so people specialize in creating and selling cheat costics. Those kinds of cheats are apparently quicker to produce than aimbots, invincibility hacks, or speed hacks."

The girl with the patron spoke in a delicate voice, "Brother Long, why don't you kill him and take the Dragon Head costic? You're the Warrior God Dragon King, after all."

The fellow male strear teased in the sa tone, "Yeah, Brother Long, you're the Warrior God Dragon King."

[Dazzling Dragon, Dazzling Dragon, World True Dragon reincarnate!]

[Kill the cheater! Loot the costic! Kill the cheater! Loot the costic!]

[Stepping on Hao Long, punching Chun Long, slicing Jin Long, beheading Ya Long! Brother Long, you are Tigerfish's one true Dragon God!]

[Brother Long, if you don't go for it, you're just a crooked-mouthed loser! ^^√]

Provocative bullet comnts scrolled across the screen like a torrential sideways downpour.

In front of the cara, Brother Long couldn't help but smooth his bangs. He had actually intended to stream peacefully on this third day of the new version and avoid provoking any cheaters. However, with a patron and a girl in the team, and so many viewers watching, chickening out would be la.

Besides... that Dragon Head Mask the person was wearing did look pretty cool. It would be great to snatch it and wear it himself.

Truly fitting for his identity as the World True Dragon.

"Alright, bullet drop is too severe at this range. To avoid alerting them, let's drive over and take that person out, guys!"

Brother Long sat up straight and spoke into the microphone, "But let

say this first: the opponent might be a cheater. I'm voiding the current bets in the stream. If we get taken out by an Immortal-level cheat, don't bla ."

Imdiately, comnts floated across the live stream: [We don't bla you!]

The viewers were quite curious about this cheater who had appeared in a matchmaking ga on the third day of the new version wearing such a strange costic.

"Get in the cars! Brother Ruozi, you ride with . Boss, you guys take the other vehicle. That way, we'll have a backup if one car gets wiped out."

Brother Long calmly directed through the microphone. The four of them got into two jeeps and went speeding towards the mountaintop.

[Charge! Charge! Charge!]

[Slaying Immortals and proving the Dao—today is the day!]

[Whoa, this is so tense! It feels like ants are crawling all over !]

Bullet comnts floated by, line after line. As they drew closer, the figure in the Dragon Head Mask and white lab coat beca clearer.

Brother Long, in front of his cara, and the viewers in the stream all noticed sothing odd.

That person's model... was too clear.

PUBG's production quality, graphics, and optimization were actually quite poor; so areas couldn't stand up to close scrutiny. But this person's graphics were shockingly clear, as if a real photograph had been photoshopped into the ga. It was even more realistic than gas like Red Dead Redemption 2 or God of War 4. Even the hem of the white lab coat fluttered, its fabric displaying an incredibly lifelike texture.

Its overall art style was completely incongruous with the rest of the ga world.

"C-c-could a cheat really achieve this level of detail?"

Brother Long was stunned. His finger trembled as he pulled the trigger, aiming at the Dragon Head White Lab Coat.

The assault rifle roared to life; three bullets streaked through the air in a straight line, instantly crossing the hundred-ter distance.

However, sothing completely unexpected happened.

The Dragon Head White Lab Coat pulled a four-ter-long polearm—a spear—from the void and casually executed a flourish.

With three sharp TINGS, the sound of tal striking tal rang out as the three-shot burst was effortlessly deflected, the bisected bullets falling to the ground.

Splitting bullets?! What kind of Immortal-level cheat was this?!
