When the other onlooking players noticed their target had vanished, they rely muttered a few complaints before quickly moving onto other matters.
Winterhold had only been recently established, and there were still many tasks left to complete. At any given ti, there was no shortage of daily task available.
Although the city was located in a relatively remote area and teleporting back to Chosen City required a high amount of contribution points, thus making it a troubleso process. It still remained a highly popular gathering point for players due to the abundance of magical beasts nearby and its proximity to the “Shattered Divine Kingdom” dungeon.
As a result, Winterhold boasted one of the highest active player counts among the seven newly constructed cities.
However, for the mbers of First Legion, the way Athos easily escaped from their base was rather frustrating.
“Wait a minute… where did that guy go? he got away just like that?”
“There’s no follow-up questline?”
They looked at each other in confusion.
Tomato Stir-Fry, holding the crimson battle axe and several vials of demigod blood they had acquired, furrowed his brows in thought.
…Sothing about this situation felt off.
After suffering nurous player deaths and expending valuable resources, including an expensive holy statue of the Eternal Lord and several magical stone bombs, their only tangible rewards were a damaged battle axe and a few vials of blood.
Although the demigod’s blood was said to be high-quality magical material, which was even endorsed by elf NPCs, compared to the resources they invested, the outco seed like a net loss…
He had expected there to be a follow-up questline, especially since this involved a demigod.
“Boss Tomato, how’s the axe? Is it worth anything?”
While Tomato Stir-Fry was evaluating the gains and losses from the ambush, a fellow player asked curiously.
Tomato Stir-Fry shook his head.
“Just like many of the items found in the Divine Ruins, it’s currently unidentified.”
“Although this item was slightly damaged, it’s still quite powerful. I tested it earlier and it boosts attack power by at least 30%. It also has ‘Sharpness’ and ‘Bleeding’ special effects. I bet there may be more hidden effects I haven’t discovered yet…”
“Overall, it’s pretty decent. I’d say it’s on par with the Lionheart Sword, which was roughly equivalent to an upper-silver grade golden legendary weapon, possibly even a lower-gold grade weapon.”
The Shattered Divine Ruins contained a large number of abandoned equipnt.
Alas, most of them were damaged, and even players who had learned the [Appraisal] skill were unable to identify them and have only receiving strings of question marks.
This was naturally due to the equipnt exceeding the identification level of the players.
Still, many of these items, though unidentifiable, could still be used.
Players often estimated their effectiveness based on damage output during use and the performance boosts in combat.
Of course, this usability applied only to equipnt designed for humanoid forms and certain recognizable, lost weapons.
Given the vast array of species that participated in the Thousand-Year Holy War, much of the items recovered from inside the ruins proved incompatible with player physiology.
For example, an armor crafted for species with multiple arms or legs, or those with bodies many tis larger than a typical player character, simply could not be worn. Even when such items were successfully retrieved from fallen corpses, they remained effectively useless.
In addition, modifying it was equally out of reach. Not even Carlos, the most renowned blacksmith in the Elven Forest, could make them usable. Whenever approached with such equipnt, he would just shake his head and say with regret:
“These are divine artifacts. Though they contain only traces of divine power, they are not sothing we re mortals can repair. At the very least, you’d need the skills of a legendary blacksmith.”
Currently, the Elven Forest had no smith of such caliber.
Therefore, the only viable use for such equipnt was to offer them as offerings to the Goddess in exchange for contribution points.
The Guild Heart of Nature had attempted to contact the dark dwarves to find a legendary blacksmith in the underground. However, such craftsn were extrely rare and selective, and no results had been achieved so far…
As such, for these unusable equipnt, most players ultimately opted to just used them as offerings.
Fortunately, the system’s compensation for such items was significantly higher than the scrap tal obtained from fighting orcs.
One player once offered a set of mysterious armor that couldn’t be worn and received tens of thousands of contribution points in return!
Thus, even with the high danger level of the Shattered Divine Ruins, it continued to draw a steady influx of players.
Whether it was discovering usable legendary items or offering them up for contribution points, the new dungeon remained extrely attractive.

The players weren’t surprised by the contribution point reward.
After all, this had already been hinted at when they triggered the hidden questline.
Since max-level players could no longer gain additional EXP, all new experience points would be automatically converted into contribution points at a certain rate. So, for them, defeating monsters was essentially the sa as earning currency.
Contribution points remained highly valuable.
Although their overall worth was gradually declining, they were still considered a stable in-ga currency, especially since many high-grade items remained exceedingly expensive.

Upon reaching the temple’s main hall, Tomato Stir-Fry stood before the statue of the Goddess. With practiced ease, he drew the symbol of the Scepter of Life over his chest, knelt devoutly, and recited in a precise and reverent tone:
“Praise be to Nature, praise be to Life, praise be to the great Goddess Eve!”
Then… he seamlessly accessed the Exchange Store.
As usual, the items listed in the store were dazzling and expensive. However, for soone like Tomato Stir-Fry who had already graduated from upper-silver gear and ranked among the top five in combat strength across the entire server, these items were no longer his target.
He scrolled directly to the bottom of the store interface and located the newly added feature:
The Divine Artifact Repair.
This was represented by a golden icon resembling a forge. When focused on, additional information appeared:

Used for repairing damaged divine artifacts.
Players can spend contribution points to restore damaged divine artifacts.
The required contribution points scale proportionally with the degree of damage and rarity of the item.
Once repaired, the artifact’s full attributes will be revealed.
Additional Note: Divine Artifact Repair Vouchers can be used to offset part of the contribution cost.
Free Divine Artifact Repair Voucher allow one artifact to be repaired without any contribution cost.
