If they were up against only people from Loen, would it be easier? Under normal circumstances, it would, but under the current circumstances, not so much.

The local guilds were strengthened with outside talent. The vast majority were already dangerous, so they had to take all that into consideration.

So, that ant he needed to strengthen himself or strengthen his summonings.

Although he was confident in his current strength, was it enough?

Checking his stats and those of his summons made it much more complicated to decide.

They were all too low, not counting the Basilisk.

Not being able to decide on his own, he decided to discuss things with Jenna. Since it was a team battle, he had to consider his teammates’ considerations.

And after a long talk, he decided to raise Mage Sense to make it more useful. He spent 3 points to raise it.

Now he had only 4 points left in Sense.

In addition, he raised the Human Swordsman’s Strength to 40, spending another 3 points on Strength, leaving him with 5.

At the sa ti, he increased the sa swordsman’s agility to 15, adding 3 points, leaving him with 1 point in agility.

This swordsman had a very good class, even better than the Warrior, so it was worth investing in him and making him a good fighter in the arena.

After that, he finally decided to increase his stats.

He added all his remaining points, since there was nothing else to raise.

[Stats]

| Strength: 65.

| Resistance: 67.

| Agility: 60.

| Sense: 54.

[0 Points remaining.]

After seeing them, he sighed.

It sohow made him happy to see his stats and those of his summons go up, but at the sa ti, it made him feel frustrated.

So many stat points he had a while ago, but he couldn’t use them to increase his own strength. It was unfortunate, but he had understood very well that on his own, he could not make much of a difference.

In God’s Test, he alone would not have been able to destroy that whole city; it was all down to his summons. After all, an army can do more than a single man.

On the evening of December 18, after finishing up the things he had pending with the guild, Elliot could finally relax with Jenna, and they began to enjoy their vacation.

"Jenna." Elliot ca out of the bathroom after bathing and looked at Jenna, sitting in his apartnt’s living room.

"Hm?" She looked at him. "What’s wrong?" she asked.

"Get yourself fixed up. We’re going on a date."

She suddenly beca excited and stood up. "Really?" asked.

"Haha, of course. I’ll wait for you."

"Haha, very good. Wait for ." She quickly ran to the room she used as her own and then ran out with a towel to shower.

While that was going on, Elliot also got all dolled up. He put on so fancy clothes and looked amazing.

A full three-piece black suit highlighted his muscular figure. A white shirt underneath matched perfectly with the red tie he wore.

The hairstyle... well, he simply put it as it ca out. He wasn’t an expert at that.

After primping, he waited patiently for Jenna to leave.

It took her an hour to get ready.

She wore a beautiful red bodycon dress, which was very elegant and enhanced her beautiful figure.

She didn’t need makeup, but for so reason, she put on a little makeup. She looked so beautiful that when Elliot saw her, he was stunned for more than three minutes.

He smiled.

"You look beautiful." He complinted her sincerely and put his arm around her. "Shall we go?"

She nodded with flushed cheeks.

It was 18 in the evening, so they took the car and the driver took them to where Elliot had previously directed him.

"An amusent park?" Jenna’s curious eyes twinkled with curiosity, getting out of the car with Elliot’s help.

"I’ve always wanted to co to one." He said, to which she smiled and nodded repeatedly.

"So have I. Are we going to get in one?" she asked excitedly.

"Of course. Let’s get on as many as you want. Then from here I have a surprise for you."

There were quite a few people enjoying the surroundings—normal people, Misfits, and the Awakened. In this kind of place, everyone could enjoy themselves without fear of people’s scorn and disdain.

That’s because it’s a place for the little ones to enjoy. They can’t give bad examples to the generation that is just starting.

Even so, celebrities were still able to attract a lot of attention. Elliot and Jenna are perfect examples.

Everywhere they went, lots of people were looking at them.

"Shall we get on that one, Elliot? It seems to get pretty high." She said, looking at a weird sort of fun thing they called a hamr.

It swung steadily, reaching very high on each swing.

"Well, co on..."

Just like that, they started their date night at an amusent park.

They rode that strange swinging hamr. Later on, a thing called a Roller Coaster, a worm that went underground... So crashing carts, which were the most fun because it was everyone against everyone.

Sothing like a fight on the arena, but with carts.

They were able to slowly enjoy each of the attractions while eating ice cream and similar sweets. Although many people approached them to ask for pictures, no one bothered them.

Two hours later, they both sat on a bench outside the park.

"Haha, I didn’t expect an amusent park to be so interesting." She said, evidently, she was very cheerful.

Elliot agreed. "The one with the crashing carts was pretty cool, wasn’t it?"

"YES. And the one with that chair that flew..."

The two chatted for a while about what they liked and their impressions.

A while later, Jenna quickly went to the bathroom and bought so candy, while Elliot stayed behind, waiting for her.

While he was still sitting on the bench, so people walked past him, and two sat beside him.

Elliot smiled.

"I had heard that the foreigners with the Clarks were quite powerful. But are they just this? Looks like they’ll be free." He scoffed.

They both smiled broadly as they listened to him. "Despite having your guard down most of the night, we didn’t attack you because we don’t think you’re worthy. That’s already breaching the mission we were given to kill you, you know?"

"Haha, I think more like you guys don’t think $100 million is enough for the risk you’re going to take if you want to kill ."

"Hahahahaha..." One of them laughed loudly and let his power escape to the bench. This one was made of wood, so it didn’t hold up and shattered.

Elliot had to take a small jump to avoid falling and smiled at them.

"Say in pride, huh." He spoke.

Though he saw a thread connecting one of them to himself, he was a target for revenge.

He also looked at the peculiar dark clothing. In his mind, this was already characteristic and belonged to the organization ntioned by Jeff.

’Too entrenched and powerful, to have enough people to send to Agora and Loen simultaneously.’ He thought.

The one with the thread of vengeance in his body was nicknad ’Ruin’. The Clarks introduced him as one of their participants in the Leveled Leagues.

He grinned broadly. "Pride? Truly, Mr. Elliot’s mouth is bigger than his strength. I didn’t expect it. He was introduced to as a genius and soone capable of killing , but what I’m seeing is beyond pitiful." He scoffed.

"Hehe..." Elliot laughed softly. "I don’t think I’m as pitiful as a certain organization that must train idiots to accomplish its mission."

Ruin’s eyebrows rose slightly, feeling surprised.

But Elliot spoke up before he could. "Much less would I be as pitiful as soone who couldn’t stand out in your city and so had to co to a smaller one to feel superior..."

"Though you’ll only be one in a backyard, little Ruin. Your nickna is great, but your power can’t compare."

Ruin stared at him for a mont and beca deadly serious.

"Ruined. Stay out of it." He said, when suddenly his body shot out towards Elliot.

At the exact mont, Elliot attacked him as well.

They were attacking with all their might, but with no weapons—a bare-knuckle fight.

The impact resounded... or so it should be. But the strength of both was shaken when another one of those walking with Ruin stepped in the middle.

It was the one known as Sir Ruined. His hands were raised to either side, and he stopped both fists firmly.

"Tsk. I told you to stay out of it." Ruin scolded him, but Sir Ruined shrugged it off.

"We’ve decided to settle accounts in the arena. Besides, we’re in a place for the child audience, what the hell are you doing fighting? You want to kill children?"

Ruin snorted with his mouth before retracting his power, while Elliot simply laughed.

’Killing children, huh. For these fucking bastards to say that, that’s like one murderer and rapist, denouncing another for murdering. Fucking hypocrites.’

His thoughts just stayed with him. He couldn’t reveal too much at that mont.

Just then, Jenna ca up behind him. Seeing the two of them in front of him, she prepared to summon her sword, but Elliot grabbed her hand.

"It’s okay; you don’t need to get dirty, " he said and left the scene.
