Elliot’s eyes widened for a mont, but then he smiled.

"Yes, that’s ."

"So what you want to do here is a test, to find out if it’s possible to succeed?" she asked.

He nodded.

"So things need to be tested ahead of ti. Here, I have the advantage that the Misfits are already opposing the local controller, so things may go better. But just because they get better doesn’t an the chance is 100%. That’s why I have to see it and prepare beforehand, since that advantage is not there in Loen."

"Hmm." She nodded. Sohow, she looked interested in Elliot’s plots. They looked interesting and might even contain mysteries, like this ti, that little mystery about who that hidden Loen person was.

"What if it goes exceedingly well?" she asked.

He understood the question. When sothing goes exceedingly well, it is not always because it is the best option. Sotis it’s simply because it ca at the right ti and he was in the right place all the pieces.

Did he succeed because his plan was right or because he was simply in the right place at the right ti? That was the dilemma when things went too well.

It’s impossible to understand what’s wrong with what you’re doing, because you don’t have any information about things that could go wrong. All you know is that it went right.

But Elliot cared little.

"If everything goes right, then I’ll get my family’s bodies back and they’ll be back at peace in a better place. Although I’m using this to find out if I’m doing well in Loen, the mission’s main focus this ti is to get them back. The rest is simply curiosity."

"I see." She smiled. "You seem to be more amazing than I thought."

"Why do you say that?" He turned to look at her.

"Don’t get blinded by revenge; focus on the process and your goal. Your way of doing things lately is interesting. I feel like you’ve beco enigmatic." She smiled, staring at him.

He seed to nod a little. He didn’t know if he had really changed, but he at least liked the way he was acting and doing things now.

He seed to have a better view of his path and to be able to not just walk it but continue to build it.

"Revenge is part of my goal, but I cannot be blinded by it. I don’t know how I will act toward the Clark n who made the last monts of my family’s life a living hell, but I intend that my actions toward them will not cause to lose sight of my path. If I blind myself, I will stumble. And if I stumble, I will fall, and when I fall, I’m sure I won’t be able to get up again." He replied.

"Have you no confidence in getting up again?" she asked, quizzically. That was the opposite of the way he was being recently.

He smiled.

"I may fall and rise many tis in all my ways and even in the way that will lead to revenge, but once I fail in front of them, I will surely die. My enemies will not let rise when I fall before them."

"Oh, I see. You ant that." Jenna nodded, finally understanding.

Just then, Elliot looked at sothing through his invocations and smiled.

"It’s ti to get moving."

--

A few people were gathered inside a plush office inside the Justice Tower.

Jake, Rebecca and one other man, who wore the robes of the Tower.

He was a high-ranking Judge.

"Denouncing the House of Fire is never a good idea, dear friend Jake. Although we have known each other for many years, this is the first ti I see that you want to commit folly." Said the man sitting across from Jake.

"I know it’s sothing you all already know. It’s hard for the governnt to miss sothing from an organization where they have so many mbers. But I dare to co here because it’s really important this ti. What they are trying to do is possibly a ritual of national danger. If we let them go on like this, it’s not just who will be in danger, Leon." Jake replied.

"Did you do your research well?" Leon asked.

"I did. That’s why I’m convinced they’re onto sothing dangerous.

"That’s hard to believe." Leon seed to sigh as he flipped through the docunts in his hands. "And even if it were as you think, do you think the saints wouldn’t figure it out before we did and do sothing?"

"Sotis you’re in the right place at the right ti to discover things that even the saints don’t know about."

"And do you think you were lucky enough to be that soone who discovers things that a Saint doesn’t?"

"I’m not sure, but I have a high percentage of certainty."

"Sigh." Leon sighed again and put the docunts on the table.

"As a client coming to , I can’t turn you down if I don’t have real or moral grounds. This ti, the only reason is that I don’t want you to get caught in a dead end." Leon was sincere.

"You’re doing it for an acquaintance... Your son-in-law, you told ?" he asked and nodded simultaneously. "You may like the guy a lot, but I don’t think it’s worth risking your life and your family’s lives for him. Besides, if he was the one who initially told you about this, you have to think that maybe he’s an infiltrator who just wants to kill you. You’ve got plenty of enemies, don’t you?"

Jake stared at him.

"At the ti, when my enemies were coming in a chain, it was that boy’s father who helped ." He said, smiling.

"Hm?" Leon imdiately noticed sothing and sat up straight. "SkyDo’s son?" He asked in a whisper.

"Yes." He nodded.

"Unbelievable." Leon frowned. "The legendary Misfit who managed to awaken, huh. I’ve heard rumors of him. Not only did he manage to awaken, rumor has it he’s quite talented."

"Haha, at least on his father’s level."

"He inherited his way of being?"

"They’re pretty much alike, but the little guy is smarter than his father."

"Are you saying that because he’s not looking to be a hero?"

"Yes."

"Now I see why you want to help him." Leon sighed and leaned back against the back of his chair again.

He had to think about this seriously now.

"You just need to escalate this a little more, I won’t get you in trouble. The more trouble the House of Fire gets into, the better it will be for him. And they’ve already started moving. There’s no ti."

"Sigh." Leon sighed and grabbed the docunts again. "Dude, I’m not the one who will get in trouble for this. I hope you have sothing to defend yourself with. If things go bad for that kid, you’re going down with him."

"Haha, he’s my good friend’s son and my daughter’s boyfriend. I guess, if I go down with him, we’ll go down as a family."

"I think you understand what I an."

"I understand very well, Leon. Don’t worry. Don’t you see my wife next to ? She’s calm. Just do it."

Leon couldn’t keep trying to persuade him. He finally nodded.

"Okay, then let’s do it. This will cause sensations in the City, so be careful."

Leon didn’t even say goodbye as he left. Truth be told, he was still annoyed with his friend.

After him, Jake and Rebecca left as well.

This would make things more complicated for the House of Fire, as the situation would escalate to a level that would be difficult to control.

The Minister of Awakened Ones himself may have to intervene.

--

After one hour, the news that the Tower of Justice was seriously investigating the House of Fire for recently arrived information, which put them as possible traitors to the Kingdom, beca heated.

Especially on the coast, where the largest number of Misfits in the City were gathered.

The Misfits were already against the House of Fire, and recently, soone was paying them a lot of money for so missions against them. At the sa ti, one hour before that ca to light, thousands of Misfits were setting up a plot against them, with staggering paynts that they expected to increase drastically.

Although they seed like empty promises, many of them decided to rise up when it all ca together in one place.

In a matter of 1.5 hours, more than 70% of the city’s Misfits were acting on one mission: to sabotage the upcoming House charges.

This lifted everyone into a strange euphoria. They seed to be accomplishing sothing amazing.

It looked as if thousands of Misfits had gathered together to do the greatest of feats: slay so mythical beast.

And sabotage began to occur from end to end.

The House of Fire was taken by surprise by the whole onslaught.

It was late at night.

They had just finished the Clandestine Tournant and had delivered a great prize, looking to distract.

But suddenly...

It all ca crashing down on them.

They were being sabotaged in all areas.

Those who were working were already exhausted; it was getting close to the ti to go ho. But then the final blow ca. It increased the stress of the poor workers, and they started to make mistakes.

It was a chain reaction.
