"War is a cold and indifferent policy, where only interests are supre and nothing else." Alysanne's thoughts during the Civil War.

------------

With Alysanne's words, the three Neutron Warhead Cannons fired simultaneously. There was nothing for a second, but the next mont, three gigantic suns erged at the entrance of the Miller IV Asteroid Belt.

The explosions consud everything in front of them; a large hole appeared in the natural asteroid barrier. The light from the three shots was simply dazzling. Everything within a 0.5 light-year radius was engulfed in light, and anyone who dared to look at the explosions had their eyes burned!

Baron Hopkins dared not look back, knowing he would be blinded by the explosion. At the sa ti, all the calm and experience cultivated over six hundred years disappeared, replaced only by fear and horror.

He couldn't believe that the Princess Regent, who had never even commanded a war, had actually ordered the explosion of Miller IV! This was not a simple matter, as the Asteroid Belt was used to supply various Noble Houses, Space Guilds, Criminal Organizations, and Space Pirates.

It could be said that everything within a 200 light-year radius would be left without a suitable place for trade. At the sa ti, the princess would definitely be prosecuted during the Imperial Senate for killing countless innocent people during the battle.

He never imagined that Alysanne would actually fire for these reasons. Unfortunately for Baron Hopkins, Alysanne had been chosen by Aenar for her determination and indifference in the face of difficult choices.

How could a re Asteroid Belt be more important than cleaning up the human race's trash? So, Alysanne definitely ordered to open fire on Miller IV. Even knowing that this would bring her problems in the future, she didn't care.

Baron Hopkins didn't care about anything else and advanced into the Asteroid Belt, skillfully dodging the asteroids, with the experience of a veteran and extrely skilled pilot.

Alysanne didn't care about the fleeing rats; she ordered the entire Sardaukar fleet to advance, eliminating all the rats that fled. As for the Gloriana-Class Battleship, The Sun, she simply ordered it to enter the Main Asteroid and begin searching everything on site for more hidden rats.

The princess knew better than anyone that in such a busy place with people from different social classes, it was full of clues and incriminating things. After all, this kind of thing was very lucrative, especially when it ca to blackmail, extortion, and even bribery.

Everyone wanted incriminating evidence about the noble houses to gain so power in the Imperial Senate. Even if this power was minuscule, it was enough for all Criminal Organizations, Pirates, and Space Guilds to do anything to get it.

Alysanne wanted this incriminating evidence to carry out a complete cleanup in the Imperial Senate, all to place her own people in the Senate. Of course, she also knew that this was what Aegon and Maegor also wanted.

It was a fight between three parties over who could get more evidence to depose more senators in the Senate. Alysanne, who had the largest number of allies among the princes and princesses, was naturally at an advantage, but she would not relax and would try to get as much as possible.

Only a fool would stand still while enemies grew stronger, and she, Alysanne, was not a fool who would think that the title of Crown Princess could make all her enemies submit. As long as the God-Emperor and the Three Queens were on the Thrones, she would never have the power to suppress her enemies.

The Sardaukar obeyed orders and divided into two fronts: one was to hunt down the fleeing rats, and the second invaded the center of Miller IV in search of important docunts and evidence. The gigantic Gloriana-Class Imperial Ship, twenty-five kiloters long, entered the Asteroid Belt like a sword cutting through the enemy's flesh.

Sigismund did not interfere; he rely closed his eyes and protected the princess, neither advising nor speaking, always staying behind the princess. Since the Emperor wanted to train the Princess Regent, he would do so.

At the sa ti, he also saw that the Emperor wanted to stay away from court for a while, truly giving the Princess Regent the power to control the Imperium for a period of ti. This did not surprise him.

He knew better than any other Primarch how tired the Emperor was. If there was a monarch who had worked the most in this universe, it was the God-Emperor of Humanity. There hadn't been a single day off for thousands of years. Not even the cruelest and most insensitive slave traders could make soone work so much.

So, if Sigismund could help the Emperor rest, even if only a little, he would do so without any hesitation. Looking at Alysanne's back, he couldn't help but think that it really resembled the Emperor's back. It was the sa sense of protection, power, and charisma.

Alysanne didn't know what was about to happen to her, and if she did, she would definitely flee to her private fiefdom and only return a few hundred years later. As Princess Regent, she knew exactly how much work her father and three mothers had.

Even with the help of the senators, the three imperial advisors, and the entire bureaucracy of the Imperium, the insane amount of work was abnormal. It might seem incredible by normal human standards, but spending a month signing papers and authorizing projects was very normal for Imperium politicians, and that wasn't even the longest period.

The longest period was two years non-stop, when the Imperium was at war with a large Ork empire on the edge of the Imperium, which showed how terrible the bureaucracy of a galactic Imperium was.

Two days later.

When Alysanne was reading the criminal evidence that had been delivered to her, in these two days, an Astarte approached and reported in a solemn voice.

"Princess Regent, a fleet of ships approached Miller IV and identified themselves as the Greyjoy House Fleet."

Alysanne raised an eyebrow and showed curiosity. 'What are these Greyjoys up to?' She thought with a smile. Looking at the Astarte, she asked,

"Who is in command of the Fleet?"

"Viscountess Asha Greyjoy and her grandson, Garan Greyjoy." The Astartes replied in a calm and deep tone. But his words truly surprised the princess of House Targaryen.

[Note: Yara Greyjoy from the HBO series, although I never understood why they changed the nas.]

"An old woman from my father's generation." Alysanne comnted with a smile. This generation of people no longer participates in the political scene and usually stays in their fiefdoms.

Tyrion Lannister was one of the few who still accompanied his father; even the forr Master of Laws, Oberyn Martell, was in Sunspear with his harem of won and n, having fun as if there were no tomorrow.

"Let them in; I'm curious about her purpose." Alysanne gave the orders, and Asha and Garan were brought to her shortly.

Looking at the beautiful woman before her, Alysanne smiled. Asha Greyjoy didn't look like a noble lady but rather a rcenary or even a pirate. Her clothes were simple and black, made of leather. Short hair and dark eyes.

There was a wicked smile on Asha's face, which drew attention to her large nose, too large for her small face.

"Princess, your beauty is worthy of the rumors, more beautiful than shining stars in the sky." Asha did not hesitate to praise Alysanne from the first ti she saw her.

Alysanne continued smiling, looking at the woman who was the daughter of the Salt King, Balon. As for the complints, they went in her right ear and out her left. She had already lost count of how many tis she had been praised in her life.

"Welco to Miller IV, Viscountess, although your unexpected visit still intrigues ." Alysanne comnted and went straight to the point with an elegant smile on her lips. As for Garan, she didn't even pay attention to him. What could a re pirate disguised as a noble attract in her?

Beauty? She didn't care about that, much less for love, so Garan was nothing more than an intelligent potato in her eyes. A potato that wasn't very useful to her.

"As a loyal mber of the Imperium, when I learned what was happening, I rushed to help capture these heretical traitors!" Asha spoke with such passion and intensity that Alysanne almost thought for a mont that this woman was truly loyal to the Imperium.

"As a loyal mber of the Imperium, I brought a gift, Princess." Asha spoke, and a soldier participating in House Greyjoy approached under the cold and deadly gaze of the Sardaukar. He carried a black bag, and when the bag was removed, an old man appeared before Alysanne.

"Baron Hopkins, what a pleasant surprise." Showing a cold smile, Alysanne greeted the baron with a look far from gentle.
