"Assassination for 1,000 spirit stones?" The receptionist gasped in surprise at the luxurious amount that Jiang Ming offered.
In fact, the entire crowd within the rcenary Guild had stopped their conversation when they heard Jiang Ming's words.
Jiang Ming smiled brightly as he turned around and faced the entire crowd.
"I'm pretty sure the hearing of everyone's ear is working perfectly so I won't bother repeating my words." He then said, confirming the doubts in their eyes.
"Haha, well said brat- I will gladly accept the assassination mission." One of the rcenaries laughed as he stood up.
The rcenary had broad shoulders and a scar on the left side of his face.
Jiang Ming smiled at him as he threw a bag of spirit stones toward him.
The rcenary grabbed it on reflex and checked the amount. Instantly, his eyes widened in surprise when he saw 100 spirit stones in it.
"T-This is?" The rcenary started stuttering.
Jiang Ming raised his hand to stop him from speaking. "What's your na?"
The rcenary stood tall and replied in a polite tone. "My na is Sha Zhou and I am in the 2nd stage of the Spiritual Lord realm."
"Sha Zhou, that is just a down paynt for accepting the mission- but don't worry, you will still get the 1,000 spirit stones I offered if you completed it." Jiang Ming grinned evilly.
Sha Zhou was in disbelief as to who was Jiang Ming since he had casually spent so many spirit stones without batting an eyelid.
'This person is a walking gold mine.' Sha Zhou exclaid inwardly as he cupped his fist and nodded.
"As long as this young master says the na then I, Sha Zhou, will assassinate him without delay." Sha Zhou then said in a serious tone.
anwhile, the rest of the rcenaries quickly walked toward Jiang Ming as they all wished to take this mission as well.
"Young master, I'm willing to do this assassinate mission as well."
"Yes, we would like to join Sha Zhou as well."
Now that Sha Zhou had accepted the mission from Jiang Ming, it was like a chain reaction and nobody hesitated anymore to accept the mission.
"Hmph, don't be fooled by that brat's money. The fact that he's willing to dump so many spirit stones could possibly an the target is extrely powerful or had an untouchable background." One of the rcenaries that didn't take the bait from Jiang Ming snorted loudly.
Jiang Ming laughed heartily at the rcenary that tried to convince others to not accept his mission.
"And who are you?" Jiang Ming asked as he took a big stripe toward him.
"T-That's Jin Hu- a 9th Spiritual Lord realm," Sha Zhou quickly dashed toward Jiang Ming and inford him.
"Y-Young master, his reputation is renowned in the rcenary Guild and it would be bad if he refused to acknowledge you." Sha Zhou added.
Jiang Ming nodded his head as he sat across Jin Hu.
"Jin Hu, a big na you have there but aren't you just a re Spiritual Lord realm?" Jiang Ming snickered.
"A re brat with a bit of wealth to flaunt while being in the Spiritual Elentary realm can be quite cocky." Jin Hu scoffed without looking at Jiang Ming.
Instead, Jin Hu continued to pour himself so wine to drink as he dissed Jiang Ming.
Jiang Ming smiled as he shrugged his shoulders. "What can I do besides being wealthy and influential?"
And he continued, "As for the target of assassination in my request- he is just soone in the Spiritual Elentary realm so your words from before were invalid and idiotic."
Jin Hu was dumbfounded but before he could reply, Jiang Ming stood up and faced the crowd.
"Now that you know the realm of my target, does anyone else wish to back off from this request?" Jiang Ming shouted.
However, it was obvious that no one shook their head and instead, raised their hands to join in this easy mission.
'Ahh~ Humans are really simple-minded and easy to manipulate.' Jiang Ming laughed inwardly when he got everyone to accept the mission effortlessly.
"The target of this assassination is pretty easy and he doesn't have a background for you people to fear." Jiang Ming then said as he proceeded to revealed the assassination target.
"Shaoxing Ming- a student at the academy."
Afterward, Jiang Ming threw out multiple posters with Shaoxing Ming's face attached to it.
"You have a week to finish him off and if you complete it ahead of ti- please inform the lovely receptionist lady as she would relay it to ." Jiang Ming then bid his farewell to the rcenary Guild.
Soti later, Jiang Ming returned back to the Central District as he played around with the Gacha function in the GLCS system.
'Ah Shaoxing Ming, I wonder who is backing you from behind.' Jiang Ming said inwardly as he can't wait to see the true mastermind.
"Sir, you're back already?" Chen Zhiqiang who was guarding the Central District entrance asked.
Although he worked for Jiang Ming now as an informant, Jiang Ming told him to keep his duty so that no one would suspect him.
"Un, did anything else happen after that clown show from my ex-family?" Jiang Ming answered nonchalantly.
"Uhh- no sir but there have been gossips about your origin and relationship with them." Chen Zhiqiang said as he proceeded to warn Jiang Ming about malicious people trying to use this information to target him.
Jiang Ming grinned evilly as he wanted to see how people would try to target him.
"Anyway, continue your duty well, Chen Zhiqiang." Jiang Ming said as he started walking toward the Moon Bazaar.
At the sa ti, Jiang Ming had made a decision to try the summoning gacha since there were too many variables in the cultivation world.
'Hmm, if possible- I would want a servant at the cultivation base in the Spiritual King realm.' Jiang Ming exclaid inwardly as he slowly touched the screen to open the gacha.
