10 minutes before Zhao Tong made an appearance from his carriage, Jiang Ming had already told Yang Liqin how they would get the quota to be in the ancient ruin.
"Yiqin, I'm pretty sure that emperor would definitely brush his hands off their farce, so he would probably suggest sothing like having the two clans send their best person out to fight." Jiang Ming said calmly.
"When that happens, we will make our appearance and support the weaker clan. That way the weaker clan would feel grateful for us, and it'll be easier when we ask for two quotas."
"Have you done this before Jiang- Jing?" Yang Liqin almost spouted out his real na. Luckily she managed to catch on and reword herself.
anwhile, Jiang Ming leaned close to her ear and whispered sweetly, "It doesn't matter if you said the wrong na with just the two of us. But if you were to make a mistake in front of everyone, then I'm going to have to punish you a little bit."
With his hot breath going into her ear, Yang Liqin's face flushed red as she punched his chest lightly. "Stop bullying like that. I rely had a slip of tongue."
Jiang Ming smiled cheekily when he managed to avoid answering her question. There was no way he could tell her that he had done this tactic nurous tis and scamd multiple players back in Cultivation Oga.
Back to the present, Jiang Ming arrived amicably with Yang Liqin wrapping her arms around his.
"Who are you?" The elder of the Di Clan asked. "This isn't a place for so rogue cultivator to intervene in our affair. Scram before we decided to kill you off."
Jiang Ming ignored the elder from the Di Clan as he turned his attention to the elder from the Huo Clan. He cupped his fist and asked, "May I have your na, elder?"
The elder from the Huo Clan was stunned for a mont, but considering the situation, he decided to respond calmly, "You can just call Huo Minyong, fellow cultivator."
Huo Minyong was willing to interact with Jiang Ming a little bit despite his unusual arrival and a mask on his face because he noticed that he didn't give a damn about the elder from the Di Clan.
It was clear that the 6 powerful clans are always feared by rogue cultivators or even normal cultivators without any background. Yet, Jiang Ming outright ignored him and decided to interact with Huo Minyong, prompting the latter to give a friendly response.
Jiang Ming cupped his fist and said, "People call Jing, Elder Huo Minyong. And this person here is my companion, Yiqin."
Yang Liqin noticed it was her cue so she stepped forward a bit and cupped her fist.
"Hello, Elder Huo Minyong. This little girl is called Yiqin." She said in a lodious tone.
It didn't take long before Yang Liqin's figure attracted most n in the scene considering her perfect three-sizes.
Not to ntion, her lodious and enchanting tone was enough to swoon the ears of many.
Alas, they could only feel a bit disappointed when they could not see her actual face. Though they believed hidden under the mask must be a heavenly appearance.
'Aunt referring to herself as a little girl? How cheeky of her.' Jiang Ming didn't even bother about others admiring her but was more concerned about how she addressed herself in the public.
"Hmph, I don't care what your na is, but this is the territory of the Northern Continent. Scram away and don't expect to idle around to reap so benefits." The elder from the Di Clan was furious at his disrespectful attitude to him and was about to strike at Jiang Ming.
"The territory of the Northern Continent? Are you blind, old man? If I'm not a cultivator from the Northern Continent, then do you think I'm soone from the other continents even though the passageways are blocked?" Jiang Ming snorted coldly.

"Enough Di Tianluo!" Zhao Tong shouted aloud, prompting Di Tianluo to hold his words back.
Although he was filled with unwillingness, he did not dare to disobey the emperor in front of everyone. Thus, Di Tianluo waved his sleeve and took a step back. Though his gaze remained locked on Jiang Ming, his killing intent was clear to everyone.
'Every powerful clan is always this shaless. Did you think your one clan alone can devour the entire pie and leave only the crumbs to us?' Jiang Ming sneered inwardly. From the mont he made an appearance, he was sure the other powerful clans were displeased with him. Such people are bound to face disaster the mont they enter the ancient ruin.
"May I ask where Jing and Yiqin ca from?" Zhao Tong ignored the displeased Di Tianluo as he asked them lightly. After all, he didn't even know there were two people lurking in the shadows until they revealed themselves.
In addition, he couldn't detect or sense their cultivation base despite being in front of him. Hence, Zhao Tong decided to take a cautious approach and tried to see if he could determine their identities.
Hearing his question, Jiang Ming turned around and cupped his fist. With a respectful tone, he replied, "Greetings to your Majesty. We are both rogue cultivators from the mountain and were recently just allowed to leave the mountain to explore around by our Master."
"Oh? Who is your Master then?"
"That- I'm sorry, but I can't disclose my Master's na. Master wishes to live a secluded lifestyle and does not want people to bother him."
"I see… Does that an the two of you want to enter the ancient ruin as well?" Zhao Tong asked calmly.
Jiang Ming nodded his head. "That's right, and we were just thinking about how to request quotas to enter the ancient ruin until I heard your announcent."
He then turned around and faced Huo Minyong, "If Elder Huo Minyong does not mind. Then I hope to fight the mbers of the Di Clan on behalf of the Huo Clan in exchange for two quotas."
