"Hehe, why didn't you give it to earlier?" Qi Shan asked, smacking Jiang Ming's back lightly. She was like a young girl that had received her favorite toy.
As for Jiang Ming, he regretted giving her the Pearl Necklace right away instead of waiting for the right timing.
'Damn it, my back is hurting so much now thanks to her smack,' He cursed silently. Although it was a light smack from her, their cultivation base was way too apart.

And as for the promise of giving the flawless pill to either Alchemist Ren or Chau Zhin, he didn't bother with it. Worst cos to worst, he could just refine another flawless pill. Refining a flawless pill is like a walk in the park for soone skillful like him.
"Anyway, with that Pearl Necklace, I hope you will co out and assist when I summon you." Jiang Ming coughed slightly and gave his reason.
Qi Shan is a Spiritual King Realm cultivator, the highest in the Northern Continent and possibly the entirety of this world.
Hence, as long as he could have her help in a critical mont, victory would be guaranteed.
Qi Shan pondered for a while before shrugging her shoulders.
"Whatever, but I'm only going to warn you once. I will assist you one ti and no more than that." She said calmly. She had her own goal for the upcoming ancient ruin as well, so she wasn't going to be a full-ti bodyguard for him.
Jiang Ming nodded his head.
Although he could use the summoning gacha function to command her, he didn't want to use it as a restriction for her. He wanted to retain their neutral relationship and not one where she is subservient to him out of her will.
"If there's nothing else, then I'm leaving. I still have sothing to do in the Haze Forest yet you summoned unannounced." Qi Shan played with her Pearl Necklace before flying away.
Within a few seconds, she was already nowhere in sight, showcasing her high cultivation base prowess.
'Tch, it's not like I can't do the sa either.' Jiang Ming clicked his tongue. If it wasn't because he wanted to perfect each stage of his cultivation, then he would have already broken through to the new realm.

'Now that I dealt with Shaoxing Ming and convinced Qi Shan as my trump card… I should probably head back to the alchemist guild.' Jiang Ming thought.
Originally, he thought he had a lot more things to do, but surprisingly, almost all of his problems were solved.
'GLCS, rember to keep updated whenever there's an event with exclusive items available. I'll need to purchase them all first-hand.' Jiang Ming said to the system. He might not be able to participate in the event, but it was for the better.
After all, he could directly purchase those exclusive items without actually completing any required missions. That was an extre bargain for a hardcore gar like him.

'Safekeep the items?' He exclaid inwardly in shock. Soon, his lips curled upward as he started laughing wickedly.

"GLCS, have I ever told you how much I freaking love you?" Jiang Ming said aloud, not even bothering to use their telepathy. The excitent was imnse- to the point that Jiang Ming had forgotten about his current location and almost crashed toward a tall building.
Luckily, he managed to propel himself away by using his palm to create a reverse force. Otherwise, he was going to crash his face on a concrete wall.

Their appearance alone caused a slight commotion for other custors since they were discussing a famous person in the Northern Continent, Jiang Ming.
'Seriously? Didn't they just gossip about before I left? How could they still have more topics regarding ?' Jiang Ming wondered silently.
Instead of revealing himself to them, he decided to sneak behind a wall and enhance his hearing to eavesdrop.
However, he was quickly caught before he could even hear anything.
"Young Master, why are you hiding behind a wall like so creepy pervert?" Hong Ling asked with a cheeky smile on her face.
