While Alchemist Ren was trembling at the list of papers, Jiang Ming clasped his hand in joy.
"Alright, let's head back to the refinent room, Little Ren. I don't have all day to waste with you." Jiang Ming said, urging him to walk back to the room that he had just co out from.
Alchemist Ren wanted to cry in pain, but there were no tears coming out of his eyes. He didn't even dare to utter a single sound to refuse his request.
As for Chau Zhin, he was already lost in his own world. 'Hahaha, the respectful Senior Ren is completely submissive to a scoundrel. What could go wrong?'
"I'll return to the first floor and continue my duty, Jiang Ming." Chau Heung said. She was not an alchemist so she couldn't even assist them in anything.
Perhaps, if she were to understand alchemists and understand the properties of each herb, then maybe she would have insisted on staying and assisting them.
Jiang Ming nodded his head.
"Alright then, be safe." He said, allowing Chau Heung to leave. It's not like he was really needy and wanted a woman to hug every ti.
Now was the ti to do the important stuff, and not go around playing with girls.
"Chau Zhin, if you want to beco an alchemist, then you should use your utmost attention to focus on what's about to go down." Jiang Ming warned, giving him a heads up.
After Chau Heung went downstairs, Chau Zhin followed Alchemist Ren and Jiang Ming into the refinent room.
"Wait a minute, master." Alchemist Ren suddenly halted his footstep. He turned around and stared at Jiang Ming, "I don't have the necessary herbs to refine all those pills."

Before Alchemist Ren could continue further, Jiang Ming retrieved all the herbs that Chau Heung had brought him.
"Did you think I'm such a fool?" Jiang Ming asked sarcastically. "Now bring your forehead over here. I'm going to impart to you a technique and a thod to refine the pills to obtain at least 90% purity."
Alchemist Ren nodded his head like a little kid. Lowering his body to a 90-degree angle, he kept his eyes closed as he prepared to receive another load of information.
Jiang Ming raised his finger and pointed at his forehead, imparting him so new techniques. Given the ti he had left before the ancient ruin, Jiang Ming needed to boost their skills fast to obtain the required amount of pills.
His aunt was going with him, and he will never forgive himself if his aunt was to et any mishaps due to his fault.
Soti later, Alchemist Ren showed a blissful expression when newfound knowledge finished entering his mind.
'As expected of the Master… all of his knowledge is profound and unforeseen in the Northern Continent.' Alchemist Ren thought. Now even if Jiang Ming ordered him to refine pills for a year without rest, he would have zero complaints.
How could a few extra labor works be compared to the profound knowledge that he had received?
"Master, I will definitely give it my all to refine the pills you need." Alchemist Ren announced, pounding his chest lightly with his hand. His eyes flared in a fiery red color, clearly determined to risk it all to complete the task.

However, his so-called acting cool was disgusting in Jiang Ming's eyes. He smacked Alchemist Ren's head lightly and scoffed, "Just watch how I'll refine first before showing off."
And he continued, "I'm going to refine slowly so that you won't miss any steps. After all, practical examples are better than theoretical examples."
Alchemist Ren scratched his head in embarrassnt. "Master is right… this disciple was wrong."
anwhile, Chau Zhin slapped his face, hoping that the scene in front of him was all a dream. He couldn't understand what kind of sorcery Jiang Ming did to make Alchemist Ren so submissive to him.
Not a single person in the Northern Continent would ever expect the haughty and eccentric Alchemist Ren to be so polite toward a teenager.
'Did my elder sister actually strike gold and land herself a great husband?' Chau Zhin wondered silently, feeling completely helpless at the situation.
While he was in deep thought, Jiang Ming suddenly called out to him.
"Little brat, get your ass over here. Otherwise, you can scram and kiss goodbye to your alchemist career." Jiang Ming said in a cold tone, void of his gentleness previously when Chau Heung was still present.
Chau Zhin shuddered for a brief mont. 'What just happened? It's like he just turned into a devil.'
"Are you coming over or do you want to kick you out of the refinent room?"
"I-I'm coming…" Chau Zhin didn't know why, but he felt a dreadful aura pressing on him if he was to delay any further. He could subtly understand why Alchemist Ren was submissive to Jiang Ming.
When there are no won present, his attitude would change completely and reveal a devil-like behavior. It was also at this mont that he truly regretted that his elder sister was not around.
Chau Zhin panicked and slowly walked toward Jiang Ming nervously.
"Hmph, the next ti you waste my ti, then you should just get the fuck out." Jiang Ming snorted coldly.
He then shot out a wave of spiritual qi directly at his forehead.
The spiritual qi was harmless and rely inserted so beginner's knowledge for an alchemist.
Of course, his beginner knowledge was even strived for if other alchemists were to know about this. After all, it was knowledge from a senior alchemist that could refine a 9th rank pill.
Chau Zhin was filled with shock when all the obstacles that he had always encountered in his refinent suddenly beca clear. It was so clear that he felt like he could refine the pill that he kept failing with extre confidence.
"T-This is" He was too shocked to even speak.
Alchemist Ren secretly sneered inwardly when he saw Chau Zhin acting like a stick. 'Heh, you got impressed by just that little bit of information?'
