When Chau Zhin heard Jiang Ming's words, he really wanted to fight him again.

However, he managed to reason with himself and prevented him from committing the sa mistake. He was already defeated once by soul force alone, so how was he supposed to beat him in a one-to-one fight?

Not to ntion, it was clear that Jiang Ming didn't really an him harm since he knew his soul force could easily collapse if he had really tried to do so.

'Why is he purposely agitating my emotions?' Chau Zhin wondered silently. The more he tried to comprehend the situation, the more he couldn't understand Jiang Ming.

He might not trust Jiang Ming, but he trusts his elder sister was not so whore that would be swooned over by a cock. Otherwise, she would have long been sleeping with everyone else since there are many prestigious custors every day in the alchemist guild.

"You can stop provoking on purpose and speak your goal, bastard." Chau Zhin said, keeping a calm expression.

"Provoking you?" Jiang Ming raised an eyebrow. "That's what your elder sister said when she kept sucking on my holy rod and drinking my Yang Qi without stopping."

"Save it to yourself. I'm not going to be agitated by your half-baked provocation." Chau Zhin snorted coldly. He understood his elder sister, so the more he heard Jiang Ming's words, the more reassured he was.

"My elder sister might not be talented and have a seductive look. However, she was definitely not a whore that would do whatever you evil n please."

"Are you sure about that?" Jiang Ming asked.

"Hmph, my elder sister has more dignity than pieces of scum like you. Just wait till the day I've beco a renowned alchemist. I will definitely make all of you scumbags pay for your treatnt against us." Chau Zhin declared.

The atmosphere turned silent for a brief mont after the declaration of Chau Zhin.

Jiang Ming smiled lightly as he turned around and waved at the corner that was blocked by a wall.

"You heard that, Chau Heung. What did I say about your little brother's determination?" Jiang Ming shouted aloud.

Within a few seconds, Chau Heung ca out of the corner with a bashful expression. She had been hiding there ever since she had gathered all of the required herbs on the list.

The herbs that Jiang Ming wanted were not so valuable herbs, but so common ones. Hence, it didn't take long to gather them all, it was just tedious.

"Elder sister… Why were you hiding there?" Chau Zhin held a dumbfounded expression to see Chau Heung appearing from a tight corner.

Suddenly, he tilted his head and stared at Jiang Ming.

"This was all your idea?" He asked in a confused tone.

Jiang Ming ignored his question as he grabbed Chau Heung's waist and whispered sweetly, "Seems like I've understood your little brother more than you. Then I guessed our previous promise could be fulfilled soon, right?"

Previously, when Jiang Ming realized Chau Zhin's affinity as an alchemist, he had made a bet with Chau Heung through ntal transmission.

He was going to test her little brother's affinity and determination to beco one. If it's confird that Chau Zhin does in fact have an affinity, then Jiang Ming would give him a chance to beco a real alchemist. And in return, Chau Heung would have to go on a date with him.

At first, Chau Heung was skeptical because she had always believed Chau Zhin was rely playing around with the herbs to waste ti. After all, they aren't rich enough to have Chau Zhin attend a cultivation school or sect.

"W-When do you want to go on a date?" Chau Heung's face was completely red as she asked in a low but subtle tone. "I-I need to know in advance to ask the manager of the alchemist guild for a leave of absence."

"E-Elder sister, what are you talking about? How could you possibly promise this pervert?" Chau Zhin was filled with confusion. He didn't understand what kind of sorcery Jiang Ming had done to his sister.

anwhile, Chau Heung hurriedly used this ti to explain the plan of Jiang Ming.

"Jiang Ming said you have so affinity to beco an alchemist whereas I was skeptical, so he decided to make a bet with to test you." Chau Heung explained.

It was only now that Chau Zhin realized he had been thoroughly toyed and played with by Jiang Ming. From start to finish, he was nothing but a background character.

Jiang Ming laughed cheekily as he walked forward and patted his shoulder.

"Don't be so down, Chau Zhin. At least you're set for life considering how you managed to be the little brother of a beautiful woman."

Chau Zhin felt like coughing up blood when he heard Jiang Ming's consolation words.

"A-Anyway, Jiang Ming, when do you want the date to be? I still need to ask the manager in advance for a leave." Chau Heung didn't want her little brother to suffer any more humiliation so she changed the topic.

"No need to ask the manager." Jiang Ming shook his head. "After all, Little Ren is about to co out and I will notify him about the plan."

Right when he said that, the large door suddenly opened up and a loud voice started to echo.

"Hahahaha, I finally refined the pill after going into seclusion." Alchemist Ren's voice was filled with joy and excitent. Alchemist Ren's palm was holding a spherical and golden pill that emitted a strong aura.

Suddenly, Alchemist Ren's footsteps froze when he saw the person in front of him was Jiang Ming.

His eyeball nearly popped out as he hurriedly dashed forward and cupped his fist.

"Forgive , Master. I didn't know you were here all along." Alchemist Ren apologized in a sincere tone.

The scene was too shocking for Chau Zhin who had always regarded Alchemist Ren as an idol. Alchemist Ren was a third-rank alchemist and was highly respected in the guild. Anyone that strived to be an alchemist would want to be under his tutelage.

'W-Why is the respectful Senior Ren calling the pervert his master?' Chau Zhin asked inwardly.
