At this mont, a loud boom echoed through the air. A dark cloud appeared in the distance and rushed toward them. The clear sky that had just been bright and open was now dark and gloomy in an instant.

The world was filled with a terrifying energy that made people shiver.

"What’s going on?"

George’s face changed. He felt a strong sense of danger, as if sothing terrible was watching them.

"Demon God! How is this possible?" Eliex gasped, staring up at the gathering clouds with fear on his face.

Demon God?

The powerful being who had sealed Eliex?

George realized. This Demon God seed even more terrifying than what Eliex had described.

Constantine and the others quickly stepped in front of him, their faces serious. They all stared at the rolling clouds above.

"Master, this energy is too terrifying. We can’t hold out. Do we have a way to run?" Elise asked seriously.

Constantine bit his lip, wanting to say sothing tough, but finally kept it to himself.

He could feel that this terrifying energy was way beyond his current strength.

As soon as the dark clouds appeared, George wanted to run.

But the system ssage said this space was locked. There was no way to escape.

"Eliex, I didn’t think you could break free from that realm."

A powerful voice echoed from the sky, as if it had exploded in their ears.

George instinctively covered his ears. He felt his head ringing.

In front of this voice, he really felt like a tiny ant.

The voice spoke again: "Eliex, I’ll give you one last chance. Submit to !"

"Cough!"

Eliex coughed up blood, then slowly lifted his head. He stared at the rolling clouds above, his face full of defiance.

"Dream on!" He gritted his teeth and said coldly: "You sealed for thousands of years, tortured into sothing that’s neither human nor ghost. You think I’d submit?"

"Good." The voice was calm, as if it had no emotion at all.

"Too bad for you. You can’t be used by . So you’ll just disappear!"

The voice finished, and the sky roared with thunder. The dark clouds rolled even more violently, as if a terrifying beast was moving inside.

George felt a strong sense of death. His heart was filled with anger.

This old guy is so bad at reading the situation. If he wants to die, don’t drag them down with him.

The wind blew wildly. The dark clouds above suddenly ford into a huge black hand, covering the sky and surrounding the group.

So terrifying!

George felt his soul trembling slightly. A strong sense of death surrounded him.

"Master, we’ll hold it for you. Find a chance to run." Elise bit her lip, resisting the terrifying pressure. Her elf wings flapped, trying to fly up, but she couldn’t.

Constantine and lina said nothing. They just silently stood in front of George, trying to use their bodies to block the huge black hand.

"Didn’t expect I’d face such a crisis just after breaking free. I’m sorry for dragging you guys down." Eliex looked at George and the others, apologizing.

This old man even knew he had dragged them down.

George was angry. He said, "Old man, do you have no chance of blocking this guy’s attack?"

Eliex shook his head. "I underestimated the power of the Demon God..."

The booming sound echoed, and the huge black hand was slowly coming down, covering the sky. There was no way to escape.

George gritted his teeth and didn’t say anything else. His body radiated a strong water elent energy.

This was the purest form of water elent power.

Water energy gathered and ford a shield - more accurately, a barrier - surrounding George and the others.

It was the water-type Forbidden Spell he had just learned, the Jade Barrier.

"Your Majesty, don’t worry about . Protect yourself." Constantine saw his huge body was also inside the barrier and quickly said.

The smaller the barrier’s range, the stronger the defense.

"Shut up. If you get hurt, I won’t be happy either." George didn’t listen. He could feel that Constantine wouldn’t survive the attack either. As for this barrier, it probably wouldn’t hold, but he had to try.

"The Jade Barrier!"

George shouted, and the water rippled, forming a barrier that covered him and Constantine.

Boom!

At that mont, the sky and earth roared, and the huge hand ca down.

Everything turned dark, and all that remained was that black, giant hand.

Crack!

As soon as it touched the barrier, a breaking sound echoed. The barrier shattered in an instant, not even lasting a second.

George’s throat burned, and he coughed up blood, his face pale.

"Dare to hurt the King, you die!" Constantine roared, his face twisted in anger. His Fallen Angel wings flapped violently, and a black and white blade shot toward the huge hand.

But the blade vanished like a cow sinking into the sea, creating only a small ripple before being swallowed by the black hand.

Elise and lina didn’t hesitate. They activated their own domains and launched their strongest attacks, trying to block the giant hand from hitting George.

Their attacks had no effect. The giant hand crashed down.

The sky and earth shook. The ground cracked, leaving a giant handprint. The whole space trembled violently.

George and the others spat blood. A terrifying strength hit them, as if their bodies were torn apart and buried deep into the earth.

But the strength ca fast and left just as fast. The world returned to clarity, leaving only a huge handprint, stretching out endlessly.

"Master?" Elise’s worried voice ca, as she dug George out of the dirt.

"I’m fine."

George coughed up more blood again, still in shock. He couldn’t believe he had survived that attack.

"How are you guys?" George looked at the others.

Elise and lina were badly hurt, and Constantine, with his big body, was the worst off, but he wasn’t in any danger of dying.

"Fine."

Elise used a healing spell on them and said, "This guy is terrifying. He’s at least level 90 or higher. We’re just lucky he was after Eliex. We only got caught in the blast..."

The group was still shaking from the fear.

"What about that old man?" George finally rembered Eliex and looked over.

"Hmm, he’s not dead yet," Elise said in surprise. She could still feel Eliex’s energy, though it was extrely weak.

The group quickly dug Eliex out of the dirt.

He was in a ghost state. His body was almost transparent now, and he was very weak. It seed like he could disappear at any mont.

Elise hesitated for a mont, then cast a healing spell, but it had no effect.

"Don’t waste your energy. I won’t live much longer," Eliex said weakly. "I didn’t expect the Demon God’s power to have increased so much. He left a part of his spirit here all along. But good, you’ve already learned those powerful Forbidden Spells. At least the legacy isn’t lost..."

George frowned, his expression serious. He looked at Eliex, who was getting weaker and weaker, and wanted to say sothing comforting, but didn’t know how.

He could clearly feel Eliex’s soul fading. His power was dropping fast. In just a short ti, he had gone from level 70 to level 60.

He was a ghost now. His soul was fading. He was definitely going to die. Elise and the others had no way to heal souls, or else they wouldn’t have let the Golden Fla Dragon fall into a deep sleep.

"Little one, you need to be careful in the future. You’ve inherited three Forbidden Spells. The Demon God might be watching you now..."

Eliex spoke in broken words, weakly warning him.

The Demon God?

George frowned, but didn’t take it too seriously. Even though he wasn’t a match for the Demon God now, he had ti to grow. Three years, no, just one year, he was confident he could beat the Demon God.

[Detection: A target matching the Taming condition has appeared]

The system ssage appeared. Eliex’s level dropped to 50, and a special connection was ford between him and George.

"Old man, it looks like you don’t have to die!"

George said happily. He had wanted to ta Eliex for a long ti. Even if the old man wasn’t strong, just being a powerful Artificer was enough to make him excited.

Plus, the old man’s power was not to be underestimated.

"Uh? That strange energy..." Eliex also felt a strange strength, and his expression was shocked.

"Eliex, do you want to serve ?" George raised his hand and spoke calmly.

Eliex hesitated for a mont. He was the strongest Priest of the Light Empire, a great Artificer. His pride wouldn’t let him beco a servant. That was why he had been sealed for thousands of years.

But he could feel that only by serving this human could he survive. And George’s aura was special. Not very strong, but it made him feel a deep respect.

He only hesitated for a mont before lowering his proud head and saying respectfully, "Eliex greets his Lord."

The system ssage flashed, and George was shocked.

Taming the Wraith of War gave him 2500 points of stats, plus 100 soul points.

He rembered when he tad the Golden Fla Dragon, he only got 400 points.

But this wasn’t the end.
