"I’ll check what it is first," George ignored Constantine.
Dark Knight Aaron was suffering from a soul backlash, and this huge black bone was the cause. He could feel that the bone held powerful dark strength.
[Remnants of the Old Gods (Left Thigh Bone): Semi-God Tier Item, once part of an ancient god’s remains. It doesn’t decay for thousands of years. But it was corrupted by dark strength. The divine power is gone. Exact effects are unknown.]
A god’s bone?
George was surprised. This was actually a god’s bone!
So Dark Knight Aaron must have tried to absorb the bone’s strength and got a backlash instead.
"Constantine, are you also trying to absorb this bone’s strength?" George frowned and asked.
Constantine was now his strongest fighter. If he got a backlash, it would greatly weaken him.
"Absorb?" Constantine quickly shook his head. He said, "Lord, this bone is suitable for as a weapon."
A weapon?
George was surprised. The bone was seven or eight ters long, almost as tall as Constantine. It really did make a good weapon.
"Okay, I’ll give it to you."
George didn’t hesitate. This bone was powerful, and it must have more uses. He didn’t know what yet. But giving it to Constantine as a weapon was definitely a good choice.
"Thank you, Lord."
Constantine happily took it and swung it a few tis. It was strong and easy to use, much better than his previous war hamr.
George then looked at the corpse of Dark Knight Aaron.
This was also a strong dark-type boss. It was at SSR tier. Constantine could directly absorb and digest it to gain power.
But Aaron’s body could also be used to finish Eliex’s quest.
With this body, George wouldn’t need to risk fighting the 50-level SSR tier boss, Wolf King Bal.
The other two SSR tier bosses were 35-level Stone Giant Morgan and 30-level Spider Queen Nox.
With his current boss strength, George could easily deal with them.
"First, I’ll go back to the real world."
George stretched his body, tired after being here for three days. The materials in his bag needed to be handled quickly.
"Constantine, will you be safe staying here?"
George asked Constantine.
Underworld realm had humans in it. With the College Entrance Exam coming, he was worried others might co to check it out. They might even kill Constantine and the others.
George decided not to let the group return before the College Entrance Exam.
"Relax, Lord. I’m now the master of the tomb. There’s no danger," Constantine said confidently. He swung the bone in his hand and even hoped that so foolish people would co to challenge him.
"Don’t cause trouble on purpose. I’ll go back to the real world first. Call if you need anything," George said, and took out the Abyss realm pass. He focused, and then left the Abyss.
Eliex gave him the Abyss pass to kill ten SSR tier bosses, and it could be used ten tis.
He had only used it twice so far. He had eight chances left. There were three more bosses to kill.
But George had already killed the SSR tier Dark Knight, which t the requirents for Eliex’s commission and the legendary gear quest.
He just needed to kill two more bosses and use it twice at most.
George returned to the real world and his ho. His body ached, and he looked exhausted.
"Rest for one night. I’ll deal with the materials tomorrow," he said, looking at the sky. It was already evening. Dealing with the materials could wait a little longer.
"Whoa, so many missed calls?" George picked up his phone. There were over twenty missed calls, all from Lily, and one text ssage — also from this little troublemaker.
Lily: "Mr. George, my family’s Starlight Rank gear has been unsealed. Please reply when you see this."
George blinked. He almost forgot about this. Lily still owed him a Starlight Rank item.
He imdiately called Lily.
"Hey, Mr. George, you finally called back!"
The phone only rang twice before she answered. Her voice on the other end was full of relief and excitent.
George said, "I’ve been busy. Just ca back from the realm."
"I was worried sothing happened to you," Lily said, her voice sounding relieved.
George smiled. He could tell this little girl really cared about him. He teased, "Wouldn’t it be better if I died? Then your Gray Family could save a Starlight Rank gear."
"Mr. George, you’re teasing after all this worry?" Lily sounded a little upset and also a bit hurt.
"I was kidding. Even if I wanted to see you again, I wouldn’t die so easily," George continued teasing.
On the other end, Lily’s face turned red, but she felt happy inside. "I don’t believe you. Mr. George, I’ve already unsealed that Starlight Rank gear. Should I send it to you now?"
George looked at the ti and said, "It’s too late today. et at the Class Changer Association at noon tomorrow."
"Okay." Lily wanted to say it wasn’t too late, but since George was safe, she finally let go of her worry and didn’t mind waiting a little longer.
"Then we’re set. I’ll co to the Class Changer Association at noon tomorrow to et you."
Lily set the ti, and she didn’t want to hang up the phone.
...
The next day, George didn’t wake up until after nine o’clock. After washing up and having a quick breakfast, he went to the Class Changer Association. It was almost noon already.
"Hey, why so many people here?"
George looked at the busy crowd at the Class Changer Association. He was surprised. It was never this busy before.
Then he realized the College Entrance Exam was coming up. These were all the students preparing for it, getting their class changes, choosing weapons, buying materials and potions.
"Hey, Mr. George, you’re here!"
As soon as George walked in, a voice called out. Carol, who was busy, imdiately left the custors she was helping and ran over to greet him.
Carol was stressed. After the last incident, Anna had specifically told her not to treat George poorly.
George nodded and said, "You don’t need to greet . I’m going to the VIP room on the second floor. Tell Anna I’m here."
Then he walked straight to the second floor.
"Okay, Mr. George, please wait a mont," Carol hurried off to find Anna.
"Who is this guy? Carol is being so polite to him?"
Soone asked, trying to guess who George was.
"Could it be Mr. Kent?" Soone thought of Kent, the SSR Tier的职业觉醒者, Blazing Angel knight. To them, only Kent had that kind of influence.
"But I didn’t hear anyone call him Mr. George. And I heard Kent had a fight with the Class Changer Association and was banned from entering," another person said.
"How could that be? Kent was specially recruited by the Temple Guild of The Sovereign City. The Class Changer Association wouldn’t dare to anger the Temple Guild, would they?"
"The Class Changer Association has official backing. It might not be afraid of the Temple Guild after all."
"Damn it! Why do I feel like that guy was George?"
"George? That waste from Aurion High, who awakened a R-tier Keeper?"
"Yeah, that’s him. And he got kicked out of Aurion High."
"How could that be? A waste like him would get this much attention from the Class Changer Association?"
"Maybe I’m just mistaken."
...
People were talking around them. There were a lot of advanced students here, and so from Aurion High recognized George. They were wondering if they had just seen him or not.
At that mont, George had already made his way to the VIP room on the second floor.
A maid brought him so tea. He just picked it up when Anna hurried in.
"Mr. George, it’s been a while. I hope I didn’t make you wait?" Anna said, looking apologetic. Her tone was almost respectful.
George put the tea down and shook his head with a smile. "No, I just got here."
He looked at Anna curiously. She was still in her professional suit, black stockings, and a pale blue short skirt that hugged her round, nice butt. Her hair was a bit ssy, and there was a light sweat on her forehead. She had been busy, and she had rushed over.
"Mr. George, are you here for an advancent?" Anna asked carefully.
George shook his head. "Not yet. I just ca to deal with so materials."
"Oh, good." Anna clearly relaxed. It had only been four days since George last advanced. If he went up to level 40 so fast, it would be crazy.
It seed that the higher the level, the harder it was to level up.
George just smiled and said nothing more. He wasn’t short on experience — he just had a task from Eliex that stopped him from leveling up until it was done.
"Are you so busy lately because of the College Entrance Exam?" He asked curiously.
Students getting advanced, Carol and the others were already busy. It shouldn’t have made Anna, the manager, get involved.
"Thanks to you, Mr. George," she said, giving him a look. Her tone was a little resentful. "You’ve been sending too many materials. I was moved to The Sovereign City, and soone ca to take over my job. That’s why I’ve been so busy."
"Already?" George was a bit surprised. "Then can you still handle the materials I brought this ti?"
"No problem. I’ll stay on duty for you until the end," Anna said, with a feeling that she was basically working just for George.
The two of them went to the back yard.
George took out all the materials from his bag. They were all SS tier or lower, and still piled up like a mountain.
Anna was used to it by now, even a little numb, but still shocked.
"Mr. George, you really surprise . These are all Abyss monster materials. Even the kids from big families in The Sovereign City don’t have this kind of luck," she said, sighing. She was even more curious about George’s identity now.
She had asked about him before, but the answer from the top was simple: "Don’t ask what you shouldn’t."
She guessed that George’s identity was sothing she wasn’t allowed to know.
Little did she know, even the headquarters of The Sovereign City’s Class Changer Association couldn’t find out George’s real identity.
