George didn’t know where to start. He only knew that when Jas sent people to check this place, they t a powerful 80-level Dark Wolfguard boss. They couldn’t beat it and had to give up.

"Let’s go check the direction where the fighting is coming from," he said and ran toward the sound.

Obsidian Wraith followed closely behind.

The whole space was gray and dull. Soon, the two arrived near the fighting.

It was a group of Dark Wolfguard, slaughtering a group of orcs.

"75-level Dark Wolfguard boss. Their stage is S tier," George said in surprise.

He saw the stats of the Dark Wolfguard. They were all boss monsters.

The Half-Orcs were also all boss-level monsters, but they were still no match for the wolves.

Obsidian Wraith quickly hid behind George, watching carefully. "Master, these wolves are really scary."

"Leave it to ," George said calmly. He didn’t rush to act. He watched as several orcs were torn apart without rcy.

"Ow!"

The lead wolf howled, and then more than thirty wolves rushed forward to eat the Half-Orc corpses.

George was used to it, but the bloody scene still gave him a chill.

"Master, maybe we should leave this place first," Obsidian Wraith said cautiously, seeing that George wasn’t moving.

These Dark Wolfguard were too strong. Even though he had gotten stronger after swearing loyalty to George, he was still no match for them.

Suddenly, the lead Dark Wolfguard turned around. Its red eyes locked onto George and Obsidian Wraith, and it howled.

The wolf pack received the signal. They all turned and stared at the two, then rushed forward in a blur.

So fast!

Obsidian Wraith looked scared and tried to run, but seeing George still standing still, he forced himself to stay calm and get ready for battle.

A shadow flew toward them. A Dark Wolfguard had already rushed in, mouth wide open, aiming for George’s neck.

"Master, watch out!" Obsidian Wraith shouted and rushed forward.

George moved too. He raised his fist and swung.

Boom!

The Dark Wolfguard let out a cry and flew back, crashing to the ground and not moving.

The level-up ssage appeared, but the wolf didn’t drop any loot.

"Wow, that strong?" Obsidian Wraith stopped mid-air with his fist raised, stunned.

George rubbed his aching fist. The wolf’s skull was harder than he expected.

Howl!

More howls filled the air. More than thirty Dark Wolfguard had charged in.

"Step back," George warned, then moved forward himself. His fists flew, and he opened up the fight.

Crash after crash echoed. Each wolf was thrown back, crashing to the ground, bleeding from all over, and dying.

...

The ssages kept coming. In just a few minutes, more than thirty Dark Wolfguard were all dead. Still no loot dropped.

It seed like the monsters in The Chaos Battlefield were different from those in the Abyss Realm.

George was confused. This was his first ti in The Chaos Battlefield, and he didn’t understand its rules yet.

"Master, your Fundantal Power just increased again," Obsidian Wraith finally reacted and said in surprise.

"Can you feel my Fundantal Power?" George was confused. Since he beca the Earth Guardian, his Fundantal Power had increased a bit, but no one else could feel it except himself.

Obsidian Wraith nodded. "I’m a bit special. I can sense Fundantal Power."

"Is that so?" George thought about how Obsidian Wraith was made of will, and didn’t question it further.

He walked over to a Dark Wolfguard corpse. His brows furrowed slightly. He pried open the wolf’s skull with his bare hands, and a clear jade stone rolled out.

"Dark Essence?" Obsidian Wraith shouted in surprise.

"Do you know this thing?" George asked, holding the stone in his hands. He could feel a strong power inside it, but no information appeared.

Obsidian Wraith explained, "Master, so special and powerful creatures can gather a core of energy. That’s the center of their strength."

"What’s it used for?" George studied it but found nothing. He asked curiously.

"It can be absorbed directly, but it has a lot of impurities and isn’t safe. It can also provide energy for magic arrays or devices," Obsidian Wraith said.

George nodded and put it in his pocket. Maybe Eliex could use it.

Then he checked the other Dark Wolfguard corpses. Each one had a Dark Essence inside. In total, he got 36 of them.

"Help... help ..." A weak voice suddenly ca from a deep pit nearby.

"Who?" Obsidian Wraith beca alert and rushed over. It was a Half-Orc. His hands were tightly pressed against his stomach, and blood kept flowing out, staining his clothes.

"Master, it’s a wounded Half-Orc," he asked George, looking for permission to help.

"Pull him up first."

George said calmly. This Half-Orc was badly hurt, and George only had so simple healing potions, which didn’t help much.

"Are you adventurers?" The Half-Orc, pale and weak, looked at the two carefully and asked.

Earth’s awakened warriors could also enter The Chaos Battlefield, but not many.

George nodded.

The Half-Orc looked a bit relieved and continued, "Can you help send a ssage to my tribe? The Dark Wolfguard clan had so changes. They absorbed evil strength and are now eating up nearby tribes."

He struggled to pull a Wolf Fang Pendant from around his neck. His voice grew weaker, "This is my token. My people won’t hurt you..."

Then he stopped breathing completely.

Obsidian Wraith took the Wolf Fang Pendant and checked it carefully. It was just a normal ornant, no danger. He said, "Master, should we send the ssage?"

"Do you know where that tribe is?" George wanted to help, but he didn’t know where the Half-Orc tribe was.

Obsidian Wraith was surprised. He shook his head. This was his first ti in the Black Stone Realm.

"Never mind. Let’s just wander around. Maybe we’ll find sothing," George said and chose a direction to go. He still wanted to find the Half-Orc tribe to learn more.

The guy earlier said that the Dark Wolfguard had absorbed evil strength, becoming stronger and more violent. George had a feeling this was connected to Anderson’s plan.

The two walked aimlessly in the wasteland. They t a few more attacks from Dark Wolfguard, but they weren’t a match for George, and he dealt with them easily.

"Master, there’s a Half-Orc," Obsidian Wraith quickly said. A Half-Orc squad was moving in the distance.

"Let’s go check it out," George said and ran toward the group.

"Stop! Who are you?" A Half-Orc held a spear and looked wary. He warned them not to co closer.

George looked at the Half-Orc squad with curiosity. There were eleven of them, all around level 70. Their strength was not to be taken lightly.

The life in this world was all very strong, almost like boss monsters.

George said he ant no harm. He took out the Wolf Fang Pendant and said, "We t a Half-Orc squad that was attacked. They asked us to deliver a ssage to the Half-Orc tribe."

"Half-Orc squad?"

The Half-Orc didn’t let his guard down. He took two steps forward, picked up the pendant with his spear, then stepped back quickly.

"Master, are we really that scary?" Obsidian Wraith asked, confused.

George shook his head. He didn’t know why, but even though these Half-Orcs were strong, they seed scared of him.

"It’s Warren’s pendant," the Half-Orc recognized it. His voice was full of surprise, and his hostility lessened a little. But he was still very careful. "Lords, do you know what happened to Warren? What ssage did he send?"

"Warren is dead. He was killed by Dark Wolfguard. He said the Dark Wolfguard clan had so kind of change. They absorbed evil strength and are now eating up the nearby Half-Orc tribes," George explained briefly.

"Warren’s group was really in trouble."

An older Half-Orc stepped forward. His face was full of sadness. He carefully picked up the pendant and looked at George and Obsidian Wraith. "Thanks for delivering the ssage. We already noticed the change in the Dark Wolfguard. If you have nothing else to do, you should leave quickly. Don’t get hurt."

"Do you know what kind of change the Dark Wolfguard went through? Can we help you deal with it?" George asked curiously.

The leader of the Half-Orc squad looked surprised for a second, then shook his head helplessly. "We appreciate the offer, but you’re not ready for them. You should leave now."

"Not ready?" George beca even more curious.

The Half-Orc leader sighed heavily, looking sad. "I’ll tell you. If I’m not mistaken, your world has also been attacked by monsters, right?"

George nodded.

He continued, "You’ve gone through the sa thing we did. Before your world is destroyed, it gets a blessing of strength. Your power increases a lot, but it’s just a last-ditch effort. Eventually, your broken world will rge into The Chaos Battlefield. That’s why we Half-Orcs don’t like to get close to Adventurers."

George understood what the Half-Orc ant.

The world would get the blessing of Earth’s Will before it was destroyed. All life would get a huge power boost, but they still couldn’t beat the demon race.

That’s why the Half-Orcs didn’t want to attack Adventurers. They were afraid that once Earth rged into The Chaos Battlefield, the world would take revenge.

"Is there no way to stop this?" George asked again.

"No," the Half-Orc leader shook his head. His voice carried a deep sense of helplessness. "That kind of strength is way beyond us. Even gods would be like ants in front of them."
