"Picard, I believe that we disagree on many topics. But despite this, thank you for your advice. My perspective is more unique... Now... There are more gas than just gas of enjoynt. Policy is all part of a greater ga known as politics. Thus, I shall conform to their rules, but with the goal of ultimately exposing them and taking everything from them... As is the rules of the ga, winner, takes, all."

He couldn't even answer before I turned, speedily walking away as plans of my next move were resounding around inside of my mind.

...

In Washington DC...

"Ah, Lex Luther, what can I do for you today?"

eting out the front of the senate building, two n in $9000 suits t, normal Governnt staff and workers filtering past like ants in an ant nest, hard at work. A breeze wound through the area bringing a crisper coldness to their tones as scarfs were lightly adjusted.

"Senator. It is good to et you. How has your day been?" Lex looked over to the sight of a certain Republican senator from Texas speaking to the dia about the hostile 'takeover' of Yggdrasil Interactive by the Governnt.

"Very good... We passed an interesting bill today, certainly wasn't expecting such technology to co into existence without our hands getting an inch on it." The senator with his well-grood appearance, white beard and brown eyes looked over at the Texan Senator, disdain flashing across his exterior.

"Mmm. Moving forwards."

"Yes...?"

"I wish to, make a donation, to your political campaign upcoming in Ohio."

The senator's eyes widened minutely before a deep seeded greed flashed in his smug smile. An opportunity to work with Lex Luther? The chance of a lifeti.

"I see, your support would be much appreciated... So much in fact that I may even feel entitled to invite you over should I win the election."

Lex maintained a neutral expression, simply staring at the Texan senator as they spoke.

"The invitation would naturally be accepted... First though, shouldn't we discuss what may be needed for to bring to the, party..."

"Oh, nothing much. Perhaps a touch of support for drinks? Maybe even so, snacks."

The Texan senator finished his conversation with the broadcasters, his face flush with 'success'. He felt like he had done sothing, alerted people to sothing... Lex almost felt pitiful for this type of idiot. Almost...

"That can be done, easily. But first, could you send so invites for to my, friends, they are ever the supporters of your campaign and morals."

The senator snorted a touch after his words but stifled himself, returning to the conversation with renewed vigour.

"Of course! Any friend of yours is a friend of mine. Ah, but there might be a slight hiccup... You see, there seems to be so people snooping around my house, they tap on the windows with their hands and cause an awful ruckus. We even called the police, but they failed to do anything..."

Lex frowned imdiately before turning to regard the senator he was attempting to bribe. This news was concerning for him as he played with the cuffs of his suit, spending ti to observe every fold of his cufflinks.

"Hmmm, they can be handled. Perhaps talking to the secret service?"

"They did nothing either, perhaps they are agents of the secret service...?"

Lex blinked a couple tis before abandoning his cufflinks, the perfect state he had placed them creasing as he turned away from the senator.

"I'll get so people to look into it for you. Please have those invites ready, I would hate to miss your political success story."

...

A Mysterious Place in the World...

A table of glimring red, blue and white hue was slamd roughly as a yelling voice scread through the massive gothic chamber. High-backed chairs were arrayed around said table, figures sat in these chairs, shadowy, unseen in feature and stature.

"ENOUGH! We need to extinguish this SHIELD before it becos a thorn in our side!"

Reverberating masculine tones caused the candles on said table to flicker amidst the derisive scoffing of his allies. A conversation was underway that bordered on the topic of the USA senate, an organisation that they controlled, much like they controlled Israel.

"No, SHIELD is off limits, by treaty." Luxuriously feminine, this voice seed almost tired. The tone was so scorched in texture that it was evident that they all had spoken for a long ti in this eting...

"Heh, Hydra is utterly foolish if they think they can successfully fool SHIELD for much longer. Really, we are surrounded by fools." A deeper more suave voice spoke this ti, confident beyond normality and much more statuesque in emotion. He was much more jovial about the entire ordeal.

"Hydra is a ans to an end, Oga. They will support us with their lunatic fantasies, anwhile we grasp true power for ourselves, once again."

"Theta, I always knew you were a sneaky little bitch! We are tempting fate by indulging our arrogance!" Oga responded to the feminine voice, known as Theta, a snarl echoing out in response as the suave voice picked up once more.

"Theta, Oga, calm down... It ain't that serious. Look at it this way... We all gain information about Shield and the 'superheroes' they want to gather. I hear they are even trying to thaw out that goody-two-shoes Captain Arica."

Both mbers huffily accepted the words of their senior, although still shooting eachother angered glares and snarls.

A new voice joined the choir at this mont... More accented, ancient sounding...

"Alas the threads that loom upon our control are tugged. New threats arise, old ones fade."

Theta, Oga and the suave gentleman all turned to regard this mber, attentive to his crooning Romanian accented words. Sickly sweet like ancient poems, his aura was contagious, softening the tensions of the table imnsely.

"Alpha? A new enemy has appeared...?"

"Indeed. The shadow of a familiar foe darkens our path, Lex Luthor, whose sches yet linger in our midst. Yet, not he alone doth trouble our fate, for a new power stirs, a company of unearthly craft, whose marvels of technology weave threats beyond mortal ken."

Tapping of fingers resounded as Theta nervously played with the edge of the table. Oga grimaced, the shadowy outlines of their face outwardly appearing to darken malevolently. Finally, Beta, the usually suave codian, leaned back in his chair contemplatively.

"Lex Luther you say... He is an issue worse than the Hand or Hydra."

"You don't fucking say Beta!?"

"Oi! Oga, show so respect to your elders."

"Shut the fuck up Theta! This is a threat, we need to cave in his fucking skull!"

The completely shadowed form of Alpha shifted a single centitre as the outline of their face moved off to the side, a white glint of tooth shining in the gloom.

"Steady thy hearts, for he is but a fledgling, chafing 'gainst the bonds of a world that hath yet to embrace him. There is redy to be found, yet it demandeth a hand both patient and precise." The glint disappeared as a glass filled with crimson, turned onyx in darkness, was risen to his mouth.

"Look Alpha, I believe in yah and all, but you haven't exactly been quick to action in the past!" Oga slamd his ass down on his chair, crossing his arms and staring at the still drinking form of this Alpha mber.

"Oga, shut up lad. We need to handle him, yes, but Alpha is correct. A precise hand is needed here... And for that, I think I have the perfect idea."

All of them shifted to Beta, his characteristic grin barely noticeable at the table.

" When Luthor sches and plots his way,

A thorn that pricks both night and day,

We seek a path both swift and sly,

A league of shadows—nay, not 'I'! "

He pulled a dagger from seemingly nowhere, pantomiming the handing over of the blade.

"With daggers sharp and poisons keen,

A whisper ends where he has been.

Yet who to bla for such a deed?

Ah, the new foe! Let them take heed."

In one quick movent the dagger was turned and stabbed outwards, blood splattering over the table despite no one having been stabbed.

" 'T'was not our hand!' we'll loudly cry,

'Our morals high, we would not try!'

But shadows speak where tongues are mute,

And Luthor falls in disrepute. "

He dropped the dagger, it's form disappearing as he suddenly opened one of his hands and revealed the moonlit form of a cut tongue, his grin widening to an almost inhuman level.

"The rising tech, with gadgets sleek,

Shall bear the bla for what we seek.

Their na we'll tarnish, black as coal,

While toasting wine for Luthor's soul."

The tongue disappeared before the illusory form of a deck of cards was created. Then, with a violent movent, a hamr erged from his other hand, smashing the cards; crumpling them into shadow once more.

"Oh, irony! This tangled ga,

Where none shall guess our cunning aim.

For when the foe fights foe in vain,

We'll sit and laugh, unscathed by bla. "

He laughed heartily as the faint glimr of madness in his eyes was conveyed to everyone in the room. Theta, smiling widely as she cleaned her nails. Oga triumphantly overseeing this display by his elder, satisfying his thirst for action.

The only one left here was Alpha, and he was slowly sipping away at his chalice... Only placing it down when the art had finished.

"As graceful as ever, elusive Beta, a work of art that might find its place within the hallowed halls of the Louvre, or perchance, amongst the sacred tos of the Library of Alexandria itself. Should our venture bare fruits."

"Hehehehehehehehehehehehehehe....." All that could be heard was the laughing of the singular codian, insanity lining his every hiccupping laughter.

...

Stepping out of my Corvette I gazed upwards at the capital hill... The place where my hatred of the hidden powers was grown. This would be the place where my first action will take place... Where the politicians shall work for , for a ti, before fading away into the dreaded domain of death.

"Shisui, Naori... If any of the guards try to apprehend without my permission, Genjutsu them please."

Both of them nodded, no words having been spoken as they had been taught the danger of recording devices in this world... A process being headed by Picard mainly as he acted akin to a foster father to much of the clan, his hopeful philosophical opinions serving to dilute the hatred and anger that was prone within the Uchiha clan.

Feeling both their heads nod, I stepped forwards, Shisui closing the car door for as Naori followed by my side, akin to a bodyguard. She even had Katanas hidden on her back, her purple hair carefully contained and hidden behind a hoody.

"I guess it is ti to go show these assholes who is their boss... Gas are my domain and this is no difference to politics in SWTOR..."
