Slumping into my chair I watched Alucard run away in excitent at the prospect of going after Luther himself, the vampire practically glowing at the idea. Luther had versed Superman before so I wasn't too concerned about his survival... But there was always the doubt, not that it mattered much since if he died dismantling the Illuminati would be simple.
Rubbing my face I watched as Harry and Sirius stepped into the room, their expressions mostly placid despite the intrigue that sung to from their emotional auras. The younger boy was positively thrumming with magical energy as his potential slowly uncoiled itself... The restraints placed upon him by the Horcrux and Dumbledweeb no longer stifling him.
"Sorry about this, I needed to make a move against my enemies." Sirius frowned sowhat, his rather bombastic wizard clothing crinkling as he leaned forwards.
"That's fine... But, is there any help you need?" Narrowing my eyes at the ex-hit wizard I exhaled, my eyes dragging themselves down to Harry who looked desperate to help. Shaking my head I chuckled.
"Not from you two. You both have already done a lot and deserve a break." Sirius made to interrupt before I spoke up once more, Artoria and Susan bringing over the food to the dining room table. My wives looked between us before the latter of the two stared over at Sirius and Harry. "Enough, I want you two to relax here and learn so things. In fact, I have so personal lessons to teach young Harry and Hermione whilst they are here."
He frowned, going to speak once more before Susan interrupted him instead this ti. "You need to listen to my wife Sirius." Her eyes had a silver-black sheen to them, the gaze sending shivers down the dog-father's spine.
"Why?" It was a simple question but one that had Susan recoil for a mont, until she stamred out a response.
"Y-you an you don't see that...?" He growled a little. "See what!?" I flashed my magical power a little, settling him down with raw power before locking eyes with Susan and sending a sympathetic and caring tingle into her mind. "Sirius... You, well, if you don't listen to Freya you are destined to die within a year or two."
He flared his own power in outrage as Harry barely contained a conniption.
"WHAT DO YOU AN I AM GOING TO DIE!?!?" Susan flinched and seed sowhat tortured by the knowledge of his death... More so by how he was taking her knowledge of it and the fact that he seed to hate the insinuation at this mont. I stood up once more, staring down Sirius who flinched as his magical power was overshadowed by my own.
"Stop!!!" Silence reigned as he dropped into a nearby chair, Harry looking at , worried.
"My wife, Susan, is the emissary for the Entity known as Death." Sirius blanched at that statent whilst Harry tried his best not to have his eyeballs pop from their sockets. Artoria was sitting down next to now, eating a piece of toast as if this was a completely normal al as the two newly minted family mbers sat there shocked. "If she says sothing pertaining to death, then you best, hear, her, out."
With each stretched word the man and boy settled, Sirius's eyes locking onto Susan who was smiling appreciatively towards .
"T-thank you love... Ahum, as i was saying, If you don't let Freya teach you I have the feeling that you will die within two years ti." They digested her words as well as they possibly could, the older of the two grimacing in frustration. "Why can't anything ever be simple?" I scoffed at that and began laughing into my hand.
Susan quirked a smile before sitting down and chewing into a strip of bacon. Seemingly she had finished her 'future visions' talk. We all settled into a companionable silence, the only sounds being those of scraping forks and knives as we consud the olette and bacon. Hel strut into the room with a small apron, her flowing black hair shiny and well looked after as the bags under her eyes were now almost completely gone. There was even a shadow of a smile on her face as she looked over at and my other wives.
A TV was turned on and we all watched the news as we ate, Sirius gluing himself to his chair as he watched the aerial footage of Brisbane Australia. It was a beautiful city and had nature mixed with urban residential. Cars filled the streets and sirens blared in the distance as the nearby mountains filled the distance, green and vibrant. What had him so smitten with what was being shown was the enormous atmosphere-scraping shield matrix that ensured that Australia was defended from Nukes and other such dangers.
Harry let his fork drop to his plate. "Whoa..." Hermione and her parents finally deigned to join us as they spoke so greetings, their attentions syphoned away by the sight also.
""F-freya, what is that...?"" Both of my students spoke at the sa ti, making giddy and feeling a little mischievous.
"That, is the power of technology." Everyone turned towards now, my won with adoring expressions; except Hela who rolled her eyes and plunged her bacon-laden fork into her mouth. "That is one of five shielding arrays around Australia. They protect us from Nuclear weapons and can also stop a large amount of space-weaponry as well. All of that just with technology... Imagine what it can be capable of if I added Technomancy...!"
The Grangers began chatting to themselves, except Hermione who started blithering out questions like an assault rifle.
"How does it work? Did you make it with the help of the country? What does it use to power it? What principles allow it to operate? How is it maintained? Gosh, so many questions!"
Sighing, I heard my won chuckling as even Hela quirked the corner of her mouth upwards ever so slightly.
"It is far too complicated for you to understand currently Hermione." She pouted, I continued. "But, if you are truly interested I can get you so teachers for Science, Mathematics, English, Coding, Programming, Advanced Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering and Chemistry..." She blanched at the list of professions it would take. Though, I noticed that the gleam in her eyes never vanished. She'd do it, I knew, but that was good for her... She could even potentially apply those sa ideas and learnings to magic.
"It'll be done then. As for magical training, Harry, Sirius, Hermione, Mr and Mrs Granger... I will be showing you sothing that I've had in my back pocket for a while now," That was a white lie, "And from that place you will learn how to use new magics, learn more about certain types of magics and also open your eyes to completely different magical sources."
The 'no-magics' were shocked that I was including them, their excitent palpable as Sirius just listened intently.
"First though, I'd like to say that magic isn't inherent to wizards and witches." Horror flexed onto Sirius's face whilst Harry frowned in thought. Hermione looked at as if I were an alien. My won just laughed whilst Hermione's parents nodded along eagerly.
"Magic used by Witches and Wizards is unique, I'll grant that much... But magic isn't exclusive. Witches and Wizards channel the Anima, a dinsion that is said to be the source of all magic." Sirius chid in with a bit of wonder sharpening his voice.
"Animagus... So that's where we find our animals...!" I nodded at him before continuing.
"The Anima dinsion is also a place where ti and space get fuzzy. This is why magic from there is temperantal and requires emotional control, intent and focus. Naturally, this opens us up to other dinsional possibilities." Sirius was paying rapt attention as Harry, thanks to Hermione, was writing these things down for further contemplation later; which the young witch was doing too.
"Each dinsion can give certain powers or boons. Sorcerers are a more general style of magic user. Any human can beco one and channel 'magic'. Usually this process takes ditation and exposure to dinsional energy but that is achievable with enough ti given the fact that we reside within a dinsion; so to speak."
I paused to take a sip of my orange juice before continuing.
"For instance, I can summon the mirror dinsion." I flicked my hand and the entire room seed to fractal outwards before shifting and splintering. The walls were reflected as still but also seed to be moving whilst the food was starting to turn into a bad high school science project. Snapping my fingers the dinsional shift nullified itself and we were back to normal space. "Each dinsion offers its own benefits, but, also its dangers."
"The Ancient One, the protector of Earth from the Sorcerer's side, has paid her price to the dangers of the dark dinsion. In fact, you could say that her price is one that the entire planet almost had to pay for and that she keeps constantly at bay." Sirius was sweating a little now but still listened on. So were the others.
"Nabu is another entity that could be described as good... If you believe Justice is inherently good. He is, how to say it, a unique being. His powers are sourced from actual mythological gods and their representations. For instance, Ra, I believe he knows quite a few sun spells that would burn through Hogwarts like a hot knife through butter... If he wished to use it." The kids and Sirius gulped at that whilst the rest just blinked away their lack of understanding.
"Essentially, to get back on topic, I will be teaching you all to tap into magic and how to use to effectively, safely and efficiently. First step for Sirius, Hermione and Harry however will be to master the basics of Anima magic. Mr and Mrs Granger will be learning sorcery whilst my won, if they are interested, will be learning whatever they want. Sound good?" All of them dumbly nodded whilst Hela quietly got up, her clothes straightening out with a burst of green magic.
"I need to go kill so people. I'll be back by dinner." She stalked away before bursting into a flock of Ravens and then disappearing. Shaking my head I looked over to Artoria who grudgingly stood up and followed after her, the apocalyptic energy surrounding her flexing before retracting inwards and shifting her out of phase. Soon she faded from view.
"Freya, could you tell how Arithmancy and Runes effect magic and why they need to be so complicated?" I nodded and leaned forwards, my two students, scratch that... Five students... matched my movent and began taking notes.
Hopefully this was the beginning of sothing that would shake up the wizarding world and the sorcerers quite a bit! I hated how reclusive both parties were from each other and how much they held one another back with their pigheadedness.
'Hopefully the targets are close to getting found.'
...
Slums of New York...
Everything was on fire. But that was a good thing for Klaus Mikaelson as he watched his enemies run from the embers of their precious little empire. It reminded him of his ti in Paris after his father had found their location yet again, for the hundredth ti. He quite enjoyed the desolation of the old palace as the people outside scread for their blood.
'Good tis...!' He thought with cheshire grin.
Beside him his brother brooded over the sound of screams, his eyes narrowing as the image of that bloody red door within him threatened to burst forth yet again. Spending ti with Hayley had helped his bloodlust and inner monster, but it had yet to fully fade. He watched on with a placid expression despite the carnage below.
"Did you think it wise to light their hos on fire? Innocents could have been inside and beyond that, it is reckless to draw attention to our actions in such a way." Elijah's tone was frosty, he'd killed his fair share of innocents, he did not have the stomach for it anymore.
"Now, now, older brother... I ensured that the won and children were gone before the n got ho. Though a murderous bastard I may be, I know that the children and won are usually not the ones at fault." Klaus watched on with a glimr in his eyes as a single man stepped out of a car.
He was bald, rotund and wearing a very wide white suit... Yet he was not rotund from fat, no, he was too structured for that. He was too light on his feet. He was utterly fit but carrying raw muscle, more than that, Klaus could tell he was a master at martial arts. The way he walked, the gait he maintained whilst enshrouded by his body guards, it scread lethal... If it weren't for him being a re human or mutant, Klaus would have been cautious towards him.
"Do you suppose that is our target?"
Elijah nodded with a small grin of his own.
"Indeed. Perhaps we should go and acquaint ourselves with him?"
Klaus wiggled his eyebrows before bowing and sweeping out a hand in invitation.
"After you, brother..."
