Chapter 750: 736 The Last Primordial Life
In the First Research Institute of the United Empire, Bai Zhongqi, Zero, and Linyin stood by the window on the third floor; below them was a lush garden, where Omni, whose skin color alternated between human flesh tones and tallic silver, seed to be enjoying itself alone, with no one else approaching.
“I’m starting to regret being so rash in doing this,” Bai Zhongqi said with a grimace.
Zero, however, didn’t care much, “Anyway, you can snuff him out at any ti, what terrible consequences could it possibly lead to?”
Linyin still seed shaken, clutching her chest, “You can’t say that, this Omni is truly an omnipotent being. The primordial matter can transform into any substance, bearing any material properties, whether it’s generating energy, wielding manipulation force, or even shape-shifting into various things, it can do it all. Can you imagine? This guy could directly pass through the energy shields of a battleship, unobstructed, through the armor, and kill anyone he wants.”
Zero was unimpressed and snorted twice, “At least he can’t kill .”
Linyin continued, “Zang Xingyan ca once to observe Omni and thought he wasn’t a match for it either. A life form created from primordial matter actually surpassing a Star God, isn’t that worth noticing?”
“Anyway, he obeys the Chancellor, and whether the Chancellor wants to grant him any material changes, or take anything away, it’s all up to the Chancellor. He himself can’t do anything,” Zero had a rather relaxed attitude.
Bai Zhongqi sighed and said, “I’m quite curious about how his soul ca into being.”
At that mont, Erald Sea arrived behind the three of them and said, “My soul ca into existence the sa way his did.”
Bai Zhongqi looked at Erald Sea, sowhat startled, waiting for her explanation.
Erald Sea moved to the window, gazing complexly at the Omni below, and said softly, “To so extent, I should be the sa as this guy; we both were directly created by primordial matter as primordial life forms. The only difference is that my elents are now fixed, while he’s still based on primordial matter.”
Erald Sea looked at Bai Zhongqi, sowhat annoyed, “Thinking that my creator, the father, could be soone much like you, makes feel like I’ve swallowed a dead fly.”
Bai Zhongqi laughed, “Even if it annoys you, you can’t change the fact that you were created by your god; you can only accept it.”
Without responding to Bai Zhongqi’s words, Erald Sea countered, “Are you planning to use this guy as a ans to deal with the Star God? I admit, this guy is indeed powerful, and if you had the heart to assimilate the Universe Titan directly into him, it would indeed pose a great threat to the Star God. But although you can control this guy, he’s not without danger. A primordial life form is no trivial thing.”
Bai Zhongqi nodded, “I know that, but since we can use such a weapon, we shouldn’t abandon it out of fear. I’ve already granted almost every elental matter property to the primordial matter in Omni, so theoretically, Omni can transform into various shapes, performing all sorts of inconceivable attacks. Of course, I can also halt the operation of these primordial substances at any ti, if necessary.”
Zero asked with great interest, “Could you continue to produce more Omnis?”
Linyin was horrified, “How could you? Isn’t the life of an almost omnipotent god already chaotic enough? If we really spill an abundance of Great Gods throughout the world, then it would be too difficult for us ordinary people.”
Unexpectedly, Bai Zhongqi shook his head, “It’s difficult to achieve. I can feel that in this universe, the number of beings like Omni is limited. Whether it’s the so-called Universe laws that limit it, or the limits of causality, but Omni is probably the last one that can achieve so much. After him, there will be no others.”
“Were there other beings as powerful as Omni before?”
Erald Sea did not answer, “Who knows?”
Greenfur turned to Bai Zhongqi again and said, “Before you created this Omni, your future was very bleak, with almost no chance of defeating the Galactic Emperor. But now, it seems your future has changed.”
Bai Zhongqi’s eyebrows rose; he had always known that the Erald Sea possessed an almost precognitive ability. He guessed it was because the Erald Sea could see the operation of the causal laws. As a mber of the Elder Race, Bai Zhongqi could detect the existence of causal laws in the Void and see how they connected different things together, but he didn’t know how they would develop. The Erald Sea, while unable to see all causal laws, could see the developnt of the laws in specific matters.
When one factor changed, such as Bai Zhongqi creating the Omni, then the causal laws would change accordingly, which ant that they were not immutable.
“So, I basically had no chance of winning before.”
“Your future now holds too many possibilities. However, many are so entangled that I cannot see clearly. The Galactic Emperor is very special; I can’t fully capture him, so it’s hard to have a complete observation of him. I only know that now in the universe there are only two individuals connected to everything in the universe, you and the Galactic Emperor. This ans—”
Bai Zhongqi continued his sentence, “The two of us have the power to decide the fate of everything in the universe.”
The Erald Sea lowered her head, “Yes.”
Just as they were chatting, the Omni in the garden suddenly disappeared.
“Where is he?” Linyin asked in a panic.
Bai Zhongqi’s face changed slightly, “He has gone to the Spire.”
The huge barrier that Bai Zhongqi set up to trap the Spire couldn’t stop the Omni, a being made of the sa kind of substance; this seemingly strange individual had entered the cage. Inside the cage was the Spire, which had already lost its connection with the Galactic Emperor.
Bai Zhongqi could clearly see what the Omni was doing. The mont his hands touched the Spire, the black tower began to turn red hot from the point of contact, like iron being branded.
“Chancellor, support my body with the primordial matter cage,” he said.
At Bai Zhongqi’s command, the primordial matter connected to his body. At that mont, Bai Zhongqi asked, “What are you planning to do?”
“Leaving the Spire in the Orion Arm is ultimately a concern for you, and I have a way to completely deplete this primordial matter of the Galactic Emperor, eventually leaving nothing behind.”
Bai Zhongqi was sowhat surprised, “Can it be done?”
“Naturally, it can.”
And indeed, just as Omni had said, the black Spire, like a piece of wood that had burned out, turned entirely red upon Omni’s touch and, at last, scattered away like ashes.
Linyin, however, was not at all pleased, and expressed her worry, “Is this really alright? He is a Primordial Life, composed of primordial matter himself, understanding it better than anyone else. He’s even capable of depleting the Galactic Emperor’s primordial matter. Acting on his own accord, unless the Chancellor stops him, he can do whatever he wants. No matter how you look at it, that seems extrely dangerous.”
