This cha, without even activating its energy shield, managed to block the Incandescence Cannon fired by Bai Zhongqi's warship using only the shield in its hand.

This surprised Bai Zhongqi a bit, but it wasn't the ti for him to show his astonishnt. He fiercely pushed the engine of his warship to reverse, quickly pulling back, as the Blade Cannon in the cha's hand transford into the form of a Ship-Slicing Saber and slashed fiercely towards him.

Bai Zhongqi had used all his strength and skill to dodge this strike, but the purely white Ship-Slicing Saber burst forth with potent energy and disruptive forces. Despite being only over ten ters in length, the energy wave it slashed out directly severed the wings of Bai Zhongqi's warship.

It was Bai Zhongqi's instinctive sense for danger that allowed him, at the last mont, to shift his warship slightly, narrowly avoiding the saber from slicing open his cockpit.

Of course, even if the cockpit had been sliced open, Bai Zhongqi wouldn't have died.

The Humanoid Beast was a combat weapon of the Elder Race; there was no reason such a weapon would easily kill a mber of the Elder Race.

Bai Zhongqi had no reason to hold back any longer. He had used the battle with the Humanoid Beast to also test the performance of the cha. Clearly, this cha was embedded with the profound ingenuity of a once great Elder Race, and it was not sothing that Bai Zhongqi could match with the hastily assembled War Machine Beast.

However, Bai Zhongqi had always lacked a moral spirit of fair combat. He was very aware that he was not a master of combat tactics; even when playing gas in the past, managing a fleet would leave him flustered, ultimately just throwing in several tis the enemy's number of warships without bother about micromanagent.

Now was no different.

Hidden in his hand, the Iridium Star Ship appeared out of nowhere the mont Bai Zhongqi leaped into the mothership. Seeing the enormous body of the mothership appear, and due to its imnse size, it struck right on top of where the Humanoid Beast was standing.

Yu was still imrsed in the stunning strike he had just executed and did not expect the next mont to be smashed on the head by such a large ship brought in by Bai Zhongqi.

"What... what is this?" The bishops of the Star Warrior Sect on the asteroid, upon seeing the ship that had suddenly appeared above the Golden Great Sail Ship, felt their hearts nearly burst with fear.

At this mont, Yu was even more confused because he had been hit on the head by the ship, and now under this ship, the entire sky was obscured by the vast mothership, and he couldn't see its full extent.

At this ti, Yu's face was a deathly pale. He believed the Humanoid Beast was the weapon that would end this battle, and no matter who the opponent was, he could utterly defeat them with the Humanoid Beast. But the ship in front of him, while not as large as the Golden Great Sail Ship, was equally massive, surpassing many main battle ships, comparable to so base warships, clearly belonged to the enemy.

"Do you think you can beat like this? Dream on!" Yu summoned all his courage, fueled by rage, raised the Ship-Slicing Saber in his hand, and furiously slashed at the warship above.

Of course, if the cara could capture the entire Iridium Star, the Humanoid Beast's attack would not be visible in the fra.

Because the size difference between the two was too vast.

A mosquito trying to bite a giant who is covered in steel skin.

The mont the Ship-Slicing Saber was swung, it was blocked by the energy shield of the Iridium Star Ship, the intense vibration and energy feedback made Yu feel quite uncomfortable inside his cha.

His complexion turned from iron blue to deathly white.

He had tested the Ship-Slicing Saber in his hand many tis, capable of cutting through nearly all warship shields, although these were mostly experintal prototypes used by the Sect. Yet, this didn't change Yuan's trust in the Ship-Slicing Saber or the cha 'Soul Reaper' he piloted.

He knew he was invincible, so he could charge at any enemy.

However, this strike seed to have no effect on the massive spaceship while the 'Soul Reaper' instead suffered so damage.

Bai Zhongqi was in the captain's cabin of the Iridium Star Ship, which was essentially a 500-square-ter luxury presidential suite, exuding understated opulence and more resembling a comfortable residence than it did a warship.

Bai Zhongqi took off the scarf around his neck and his outer coat, carelessly tossing them onto the sofa. A Humanoid Beast brought him a cup of hot tea. Bai Zhongqi sat in the comfortable chair, holding the tea cup with both hands, savoring a sip, feeling his fatigue diminish.

He looked up at the holographic screen that appeared in front of him, Yuan, not believing in defeat, still controlled the cha to frantically slash at the energy shield of the large ship. Each slash failed to cause even the slightest damage to the shield, at most causing a trivial ripple to spread.

Strictly speaking, the Iridium Star Ship did not have a real tactical center or bridge. Bai Zhongqi wholly controlled the ship with his mind, as was the case with all Elder Race mother ships. Apart from the Elders and those the ship recognized as its master, no one else could control the ship, rendering the bridge aningless.

With a thought, Bai Zhongqi activated cannon hatches on the underside of the ship, extending several dium and small-caliber cannons. Though not nurous, they were formidable enough for 'Soul Reaper.'

Yuan knew he couldn't be hit, and suddenly maneuvered the cha to warp to a safe location.

However, Bai Zhongqi was able to precisely lock onto the site of his warp; all cannons aid where Yuan was escaping to, and comfortably unleashed cannon fire that hit the just-warped cha 'Soul Reaper.'

Yuan was stunned; though the several dozen cannon volleys did not destroy the cha, they still inflicted significant damage.

Bai Zhongqi was also sowhat surprised, as the cha's defensive capability was sowhat beyond his expectations. Besides the energy shield, the shield plate was also formidable, with a barrage of cannon fire hitting it and failing to leave any mark, unlike the Incandescence Cannon would. Of course, what caused Yuan the most distress was not so much the impacts, which, though not crippling, were incredibly uncomfortable.

Yuan grew fearful, the massive warship giving him the illusion that he was facing another Golden Great Sail Ship. Of course, from so perspectives, it wasn't entirely an illusion.

He now realized, defeating this spaceship with his cha was unrealistic. At the sa ti, he also noticed that the Golden Great Sail Ship's stay on this planet was almost over; the wormhole had opened, and the Golden Great Sail Ship was about to depart.

"No, the Golden Great Sail Ship is mine!" Yuan panicked, no longer caring to continue battling with this inexplicably powerful ship, and once again activated his short-range warp, rushing towards the bow of the Golden Great Sail Ship.

"Where is it, where is the main control room of the Golden Great Sail Ship?" At this mont, Yuan had lost all reason, crazily hacking with the Ship-Slicing Saber, attempting to forge a path into the interior of the Golden Great Sail Ship. But no matter how he hacked, he couldn't leave a single scratch on it.

Watching the Golden Great Sail Ship about to enter the void, Bai Zhongqi revealed a mocking smile.

"Truly, courting death."
