Han Jiaxue praised, "It's really your skill that makes the business good."
The shop owner reminisced, "Before coming to Tai Ping, I was just a worker with so noodle-making skills, and I tried running a shop but failed. Honestly, I'm not very good at business, but making noodles and soup is what I'm best at. Working for others wouldn't make much money. Listening to the shop owner's story, Bai Zhongqi felt a shared sentint. He had t the new leader of the special zone, a C-country official with sowhat leftist tendencies. This official supported both big state economics and small private enterprises; the endeavors seen here in the special zone were evidently C-country's own experintal grounds.
All of the special zone's infrastructure and social services are now monopolized by Star Alliance enterprises, and the special zone is even more aggressive in one area than other regions – agriculture. All food supplies are directly provided to citizens by Star Alliance farms. With advanced technology, resources, and capital, such agricultural giants ca into play and all but wiped out many farrs, especially the small-scale ones that still existed in C-country.
However, the small-scale farming class didn't have much to complain about, because even if they stopped farming, they would receive a basic inco that was more than what they earned from the land before. Moreover, many were freed from the land and entered into the national service system, finding other jobs. So family farms still exist but essentially, C-country assigns agricultural bureau experts to guide them in differentiated production, growing and processing high-value-added crops, and also provides them with cutting-edge agricultural machinery.
Against such a backdrop, any privately-owned large enterprise is mostly t with obstacles within the economic system under the Star Alliance. Bai Zhongqi even heard that the super-monopolistic economic system set up by the Star Alliance had sparked a strong backlash from so-called private entrepreneurs, but this resistance proved futile.
So went on hunger strikes, others jumped from buildings, accusing the governnt of cutting off their paths. However, the Star Alliance would never compromise with those individuals seeking personal profit. In places like the Spratly special zone, the governnt particularly supports individuals with skills managing their own businesses and self-employnt. The governnt doesn't expect these people to drive the economy or employnt. On one hand, it's hoped that they will work and realize their value through labor; on the other hand, it aims to achieve a socially diverse, differentiated, and flourishing society.
The Star Alliance does not reject personal legal property or wealthy individuals in economic thought, but the premise is that wealth must be earned through hard work and creativity, not through exploitation and quick sches.
Of course, this economic transition was not a terrifying grinder of flesh and blood. Taking C-country as an example, many who were billionaires before the transition, regardless of how legitimate their wealth was, managed to keep it into the new era. Naturally, due to the transition from RMB to Star Alliance Currency and extrely complex algorithms, their wealth experienced significant depreciation, or in so cases, they were even forcibly required to convert their capital into movable and immovable assets. Nevertheless, the rich remained rich; their businesses might have collapsed, but their foundations were still solid.
Among them, so far-sighted individuals quickly transitioned their wealth into new technological equipnt. For example, real estate developnt companies that introduced new building technologies, even if they were squeezed by Star Alliance construction enterprises locally, could take on projects in other international regions and still make fortunes. Similarly, resource-based businesses innovated with new technologies, directly leased Star Alliance civilian mining vessels, and ventured to other planets in the Solar System or even other galaxies to provide resources for the Star Alliance.
These individuals beca rich quickly, but since the Star Alliance is so vast, it's difficult for any private enterprise or capitalist to negotiate terms with the Star Alliance. If the Star Alliance governnt throws out a job, these businesses scramble like mad dogs chasing a bone, shalessly seizing any chance to make money.
Regrettably, the Star Alliance Currency is just a currency calculated through an intricate model. The amount issued is at the directive of the Star Alliance's economic departnt. In the Star Alliance, money represents wealth but cannot influence power. To the Chancellor's Supre Command, money holds no significance.
