Gigite Star, this pale blue planet was already on high alert. The Order Association had issued a warning to the Gigite civilization, and the Gigite civilization had gathered all its ships capable of engaging in battle. Yet, the number of ships that could truly be considered warships still did not exceed 300.

In the local bubble of this Great Star Zone, the small number of civilizations ant that many faced a lower risk of invasion. Civilizations like the Gigite, with no grand ambitions, simply did not maintain a particularly large military fleet.

The battle ships of the Gigite people had to have more than one-third of their area dedicated to aquatic zones to support the normal life of the Gigite people. This was clearly very adverse for the spatial design of the warships, as other civilizations could design various weapons, whereas the Gigite people had to allocate space for aquatic zones to sustain life.

Thus, the battle ships of the Gigite tended to have weak firepower and poor resistance capabilities.

Suddenly, a large number of Warp Bubbles appeared. This was the fleet of the Order Association, which, having hurried slowly, had finally arrived in the outer space of Gigite Star before the Teizene Fleet's arrival.

Many Gigite people, upon seeing the fleet of the Order Association arrive, were greatly exhilarated. In the eyes of the Gigite people, the Order Association symbolized justice in the Galaxy.

However, Caesar did not relax in the slightest at this ti; instead, he grew more agitated.

The upright gorilla general continually scratched his fur, even though he wasn't actually itchy. He watched various previous battle reports of the Teizene on a liquid crystal screen, hoping to find so way to achieve victory.

"If there were anti-warp devices set up around the orbit of Gigite Star, we could at least move the battlefield outside the nearby space of Gigite Star, lessening the loss facing Gigite Star," thought Caesar, but this thought wasn't very helpful. Among the whole Order Association, only the Ape Planet Civilization had so research on anti-warp devices. But clearly, the Ape Planet Civilization would not place such high-tech products in an ally's ho. Even if they were willing, it was too late now.

Commander Samalou, a capybara who had obviously grown sowhat gaunt, looked sowhat weary as he approached Caesar.

"General Caesar, I entrust everything to you. We Gigite people are not adept at fighting, but this is a war to defend our own planet. Even if it costs us our lives, the Gigite people will fight this battle to win!"

Caesar could not help but hold Samalou in solemn respect. He understood that not all civilizations and races loved to fight; those willing to sacrifice themselves to protect their holand were indeed heroes.

"Commander Samalou, I will do everything I can. Now, Gigite Star is right behind us, and unless you and I both fall, we will never let the Teizene people trample on your mother planet."

The tears of the capybara fell with a plop:"Thank you, General Caesar."

At that mont, seeing the tears in Samalou's eyes caused Caesar to feel a twinge of regret for the first ti.

"If we hadn't broken with the humans of Earth, inviting them to join this war, maybe the risk of Gigite Star being destroyed would have been reduced."

Even Caesar himself had already essentially sentenced Gigite Star to death. He knew that it was impossible to defeat with the strength of the Order Association, but he could choose to perish together with Gigite Star.

The Order Association didn't have much ti to prepare. 11 hours after the Order Association Fleet arrived at the Gigite Star, a strong warp reaction occurred; the Warp Bubble ford out of nowhere, and the Teizene Fleet finally reached the battlefield.

Caesar took a deep breath, standing in the bridge with many representatives of the Order Association civilizations behind him. At this mont, various civilizations united, ready to fight for the Gigite Star! Discover stories with My Virtual Library Empire

The upright gorilla's eyes were filled with the fire of battle as he pounded on his chest fiercely and shouted, "Heroes of the Order Association, our cannons are not as sharp as the Teizenes' cannons, our hulls are not as strong as the Teizenes', and our engines are not as fast as the Teizenes'; but our will can be even more steadfast! Our only chance for victory is to break through the Teizene Fleet's formation and engage them in close combat, winning in the chaos!"

This was indeed the best strategy General Caesar could think of. As he had said, the technological gap between the two sides was too great, as evidenced by the annihilation of 300 Order Association ships last ti. Moreover, the Teizene Fleet's threat in formation was even greater.

Their fleet was smaller in number and lesser in skill. Caesar believed that the only way to survive was to rush into the Teizene Fleet, engage in brutal close combat, and tear the Teizenes apart in a bloody battle.

As the Warp Bubble dissipated, the Teizene Warships, led by Haiwins, finally revealed their true form. There were 2076 formidable Teizene Warships, carrying millions of ferocious Teizene soldiers.

Haiwins, still not wearing Battle Armor but a silk robe, was not an outstanding military commander; thus, he would delegate the battle entirely to his trusted vassal general.

Sitting in the ecological room, Haiwins read a book and drank tea, completely unaware of the imminent battle, almost as if it were just an ordinary afternoon. He was enjoying a favorite book under artificial sunshine, and then preparing to cheat a poor creature, relishing a delightful afternoon tea.

General Caesar struck first; his fleet had been waiting for a long ti, palms sweaty with anticipation, for those species that had sweat glands.

Dozens of different weapons from diverse civilizations were fired at the Teizene Fleet under a unified command.

The experienced Commander Aolans of the Teizene Fleet imdiately gave the order, "Activate the Shield Array!"

No matter what, Shield Sharing Technology remained the Teizene Fleet's trump card. Very few civilizations could comprehend its essentials, and most cultures could do nothing but desperately cry when faced with the enormous Shield Array shared among over two thousand warships.

Although activating the Shield Array took so ti, a barrage of shells hit the Teizene Warships, shaking so of their Shields and even shattering the shields of an unfortunate Escort Ship that had taken a direct hit from the main cannon of the Order Association Main Battle Ship. But within just over a dozen minutes, the Teizene's Shield Array had ford.

During this ti, two smaller Escort Ships had been sunk by the Order Association Fleet, but once the Shield Array was fully raised, the attacks of the Order Association were completely ineffective.

From Aolans' order to the raising of the Shield Array, Caesar was unclear what the Teizenes had done. But he could clearly perceive that the shields of the Teizene Warships seed to have strengthened, even making those weaker small ships impervious to their attacks.

"Charge!" Caesar bellowed, leading his flagship to charge first toward the Teizene formation.

But then, the Teizene Warships retaliated. Tons of ammunition and gunfire poured down like a torrential wave, pumling the head of Caesar's flagship and imdiately stopping its montum.
