Chamos and Jenna both stood on the terrace, and the night sky occasionally flashed with brilliant colors, like millions of sparkling fairies dancing endlessly in the sky. These light signals were not very conspicuous, but Chamos knew very well that the events unfolding above the firmant could possibly determine a new destiny for Lingge Star.
Perplexed, Jenna asked, "What is that?"
Chamos couldn't answer, he simply stared at the deep and mysterious night sky in silence.
Just then Jenna noticed, next to the building that managed Durag, several Teizene clad in black armor were running out of their camp and boarding a hovercraft.
"What are they doing?" Jenna pointed in that direction.
Although Chamos couldn't discern the Lizard People's expressions from such a distance, from their actions and the direction in which the hovercraft sped off, he ventured a guess, "They're fleeing."
Jenna was astounded, "Why, they've already taken control of the entire Republic Federation, and you foreigners are managing the city for them, why leave here?"
"Because they're done for," Chamos sighed lightly.
Jenna felt sowhat bewildered and gazed at Chamos with her large, beautiful eyes.
Chamos also looked at her and said, "I don't know what has happened in the universe, but I think these Teizene have suffered a defeat. The control of space has been taken over by another force that we're not aware of, so these Teizene dare not escape the planet in a spaceship. Instead, they form small squads and take so supplies, trying to flee into the wilderness, to avoid the search of the force that defeated them."
Upon hearing this, Jenna felt wrapped in an imnse sense of joy, exclaiming, "That's great, finally soone is coming to punish these unforgivable scoundrels. I always said that there must be good people in the universe, the righteous forces must have co to support us because the Teizene invaded Lingge Star."
Chamos, however, was not optimistic. He shook his head and said, "It's certain that whoever's coming has a grudge against the Teizene Empire, but it doesn't an they will be the saviors of Lingge Star. To them, the feeble and backward Lingge people are no different from ants."
Jenna was taken aback but quickly understood Chamos's point. The Teizene's attitude towards Lingge Star was indicative; higher-order interstellar civilizations simply look down on lower ones. Not to ntion treating them as equals or with respect, higher-order civilizations don't even consider lower civilizations as true civilizations.
This made Jenna very worried, her brows furrowed.
Chamos did offer her so words of comfort, "No matter how bad they are, they can't be worse than these cannibalistic demons of the Teizene."
He chuckled self-deprecatingly, "With the Teizene downfall, a 'lapdog' like who has been serving them might also not et a good end."
Jenna hurriedly said, "I will tell others, you're a good person, you saved ."
Chamos sighed, "Well, let's hope your testimony can save my life then."

——Dividing Line——
The Star Alliance Expeditionary Fleet did not carry aircraft carriers this ti, but Bai Zhongqi brought four Carrier Cruisers, including the Enterprise. There were not many Pilots in the Expeditionary Fleet, only enough for one Air Squadron, but the four Carrier Cruisers could carry over a thousand fighter jets, most of which were unmanned.
The heavy interstellar fighter, Tiger Hawk, which perford well in the defense of Earth, was favored by the Universe Army. A large number of these unmanned fighters were constructed and deployed within the Universe Force Air Squadron.
After clearing Teizene's defense fleet and orbital defense platforms, Lingge Star was like a peeled egg, tender and tempting before His Majesty the Chancellor.
"I think I can already see the blond, busty beauties of Lingge!" Nan Ma chose this very inopportune mont to ruin Bai Zhongqi's mood.
Bai Zhongqi had no interest in entertaining him, instead he opened the communication line with Xu Lanzhou and asked, "Commander Xu, are the landing forces ready?"
"Yes, Your Majesty, the Orbital Airborne Corps assault squads and Delta Corps are ready."
"Then, let's destroy all of Teizene's influence on this planet."
Bai Zhongqi sat with his arms crossed, elbows resting on the arms of his throne, looking at the panoramic cosmic imaging that displayed the beautiful Lingge Star. This planet's climate was sowhat similar to that of Erald Sea Star, but Lingge Star was much larger and its overall environnt was sowhat superior, which is why it had a relatively larger population.
Bai Zhongqi wouldn't have prepared the Expeditionary Fleet without the force for a ground assault. Within the combat sequence of the Star Alliance Universe Army, the role of the Marine Corps was ultimately abolished by him. In its place, he ford mobile infantry units geared for ground combat and boarding operations, which were organized into several mobile infantry corps.
The most important were the Orbital Paratroopers, ford from seeds of Iridium Star soldiers and comprising the backbone of Earth's elite soldiers. This force had already established the strength of three divisions, amounting to 80,000 personnel. Continue your journey on My Virtual Library Empire
However, the scale of the Orbital Paratroopers was just a fraction of the total strength of other corps, because Bai Zhongqi had directly based 24 bionic human corps nad after Greek letters on Bionic Human soldiers. These corps varied in size, so were just a frawork at present, awaiting further troop reinforcents. However, without a doubt, the 24 Bionic Human corps personally controlled by the Chancellor were the Star Alliance's main ground combat force now.
The Orbital Paratroopers within the Expeditionary Fleet numbered only a few hundred people; they were organized as an assault squadron. The Fleet's Delta Corps had over twenty thousand personnel and were the main ground combat forces that Bai Zhongqi relied upon during the expedition.
Equipped with atomic substance construction devices, the Expeditionary Fleet could also continuously manufacture bionic soldiers for reinforcents.
Teizene military facilities on Lingge Star could not escape the watchful eye of the Star Alliance, and Bai Zhongqi knew that the Teizene had not much military power on this planet. Therefore, by the ti a number of landing crafts entered the atmosphere of Lingge Star under the escort of a large number of Tiger Hawk fighters, Lingge Star was essentially in the hands of the Star Alliance.
With the arrival of a large number of ships and fighters, the mainly Severi suppression forces had no will to resist. By now, the people of Lingge had co to understand one thing clearly: they could never defeat those from the universe, so instead of losing their lives, it was better to surrender obediently.
The Severi forces themselves were in a strange country with no intention of holand defense. So when the landing crafts touched down, the Severi commanders even raised their hands above their heads one by one, lining up outside the camp, waiting for soone to accept their surrender.
Quite soon, Bai Zhongqi heard that there were hardly any Lizard People left in the cities of Lingge Star. These guys had actually fled to the deep mountains and old forests at the last mont, seemingly prepared to wage guerilla warfare against the people of Iridium Star.
