Bai Zhongqi stood quietly on the bridge of the Sacred Falcon Class Battlecruiser, with only Zero accompanying him. His flagship never needed too many people, as the most powerful warship of the Star Alliance, the Sacred Falcon was operated solely by Bai Zhongqi and Zero.

There was no need to pull up surveillance footage from other warships, Bai Zhongqi could imagine it. At this mont, every soldier in the Universe Army was on high alert. Many were feeling nervous, excited, and even fearful, but each of them was at their battle station, ready to throw themselves into the fray.

Zero's mood was also sowhat subdued and oppressive; she stared gravely at Bai Zhongqi and said, "Your Majesty, in 15 minutes, the enemy will erge from warp speed."

Bai Zhongqi, with his hands clasped behind him, nodded gently as he gazed ahead.

Then, on the screens and personal devices of all crew mbers in the Fourth Strategic Fleet, a ssage popped up: The enemy will arrive at the scene in 15 minutes.

This ssage imdiately escalated the level of tension within the entire fleet to a new stage. The warriors began to rub their hands in anticipation. Regardless of how their strength compared to the enemy's, as mbers of the Universe Army, they had to give everything to win this battle.

Zero then inford Bai Zhongqi, "The First Strategic Fleet Group has finished its journey and reached Earth's gravity well."

This was to be expected; the First Strategic Fleet, following closely behind the Teizene Fleet, had co forth by opening a warp bubble with several of its main battleships. Now, these main battleships, equipped with the latest Star Alliance Star Energy Engines, capable of speeds 3300 tis that of light—slightly faster than Teizene's Borke Star Energy Engines—allowed the First Strategic Fleet to arrive at the preset battlefield ahead of Teizene.

Bai Zhongqi showed no reaction; the early arrival of the First Strategic Fleet would not have much impact on this battle. The key to defeating the enemy did not lie here.

On the Aquarius Aircraft Carrier, flagship of the First Strategic Fleet, young Universe Army soldier Cui Zhihao's palms were sweaty as he gripped the trigger stick tightly. He had anticipated this day when he joined the Universe Army, but never expected the pressure facing the Universe Army to be this imnse.

Cui Zhihao rubbed his palms together, trying to dry the sweat, thinking to himself. "I wonder how my senior is doing. Even a re gunner like feels so tense; he must be facing trendous pressure leading the entire fleet against the enemy."

His fellow soldier, Klei, was also sweating profusely. Tilting his head, he said to Cui Zhihao, "If we could have a packet of spicy strips right now, I guess I wouldn't be so nervous."

He had barely finished speaking when a head squeezed into the small gunner's cabin—it was their weapon officer, Amamiya Takafumi.

Amamiya still had the look of soone who was owed a million dollars; he gave his gunners a final admonition. "Focus your attention. Follow the system prompts and don't do anything unnecessary."

"Yes, sir."

Watching Amamiya leave, Klei complained again, "We're operating the anti-aircraft guns, and with the Teizene people enabling Shield Sharing, it's quite unlikely they'll dispatch fighters. Although it might be irresponsible to say so, I think we might have a relatively quiet ti."

Cui Zhihao didn't bite on Klei's musings; he was still seeking his optimal state. Among Aquarius' gunners, his skills weren't particularly outstanding, sotis even his shooting scores were worse than the automatic firing system.

"I always have this ominous premonition; the Aquarius is the biggest amongst all main battleships, we might face the enemy's strongest firepower." A shadow of foreboding lood over Cui Zhihao's heart.

In the underground facility of the Neihong Country's Gray Hand Legion on Earth, Kentarou Yakushimaru took off his school uniform jacket and threw it on the floor.

"Co on," the youth's heart brimd with a fighting spirit.

He knew this wasn't anything like the previous training and simulation exercises, but he also knew that he had to do his best no matter what because he had sothing he needed to protect.

Using a synchronized simulation cabin resembling an actual pilot's cockpit, Kentarou stepped into his own sync pod, and within a minute, his consciousness had been uploaded and synchronized with his fighter.

Quantum communication ensured that as quickly as a Greyhand soldier's consciousness reacted, the aircraft executed the corresponding maneuvers. Through such ans, the Star Alliance Universe Army had garnered a host of more unpredictable, strongly individualized combat flight units.

"Kentarou, today we've been assigned the Tigereat Hawk," his AI assistant Xiao Fengmo reminded him.

In Kentarou's consciousness, he could clearly visualize the structure of this fighter. Handso warplanes were often formidable ones, and the Tigereat Hawk had an extrely stylish design. This type of warplane, heavily funded by the Star Alliance since its establishnt, was a dual-use spaceship and warplane with smooth extraterrestrial lines and an integral variable wing that could transform into straight wings, forward-swept wings, and backward-swept wings.

With a far superior energy core, the Tigereat Hawk possessed three tis the energy density of the Banshee Fighter. Its formidable power allowed for terrifying maneuverability in the universe, and what's more, this type of warplane had the Star Alliance's unique beam cannon on board, which was extraordinarily powerful.

"Indeed, has the Star Alliance really rolled out their trump card this quickly? I thought the Tigereat Hawk was still in the prototype phase, but they've rushed it into battle already," Kentarou felt in his consciousness as though he was a real pilot in the cockpit.

His surroundings were as vast and mysterious as a golden-red universe space, with the airplane feeling like a part of his body, completely at his command.

"Pilots haven't fully adapted to the Tigereat Hawk yet, but we Greyhands don't have that problem. We've flown thousands of hours, and if anyone can unleash its full power, it's definitely us," Kentarou spoke from within his sync pod.

At that mont, the voice of his buddy, the Brazilian youth Lupica, burst through, excitedly exclaiming, "It's so cool, it's the Tigereat Hawk!"

Kentarou quickly saw the list of his squadron mates' fighter numbers on the screen before him, and he was startled when he saw the na at the top.

"'Red Dragon' is still using the J-20? To think he's not using the far stronger Tigereat Hawk!"

Lupica naturally said, "That guy has always been using the Weilong, and his Weilong is the third generation deeply modified version, probably as strong as the Tigereat Hawk."

Ranked second in the total points of the Greyhand Corps was a person codenad Red Dragon from Country C, whose age and gender were unclear, and who didn't like socializing, usually communicating tactics by typing.

Red Dragon favored using the Weilong Fighter, his was a Star Alliance super modified version, completely different from the ones previously assigned to the Country C Air Force. Kentarou was profoundly impressed by this Weilong; half of his rare 1V1 defeats were at the hands of this J-20 fighter, adorned with a red giant dragon.

Just then, a new alert appeared before Kentarou and Lupica.

"Enemy entering the battlefield, final countdown begins, 10, 9, 8, 7..."
