Are there frogs at the bottom of the well in the universe?
There probably are, otherwise Bai Zhongqi wouldn't know what he is currently squeezing to death.
A thin layer of Star Energy, like an energy shield, had been added to Bai Zhongqi, on top of that he always had Xu Lanzhou's shield, which could protect him at any ti. Even when personally dealing with Teizene soldiers, Bai Zhongqi had no need to be afraid.
It turns out that a better understanding of physics also translates to being tougher in a fight. In traditional Chinese martial arts, there are various concepts like Bright Energy and Dark Energy. On Iridium Star, where science is highly developed, research has been done on how to better transfer force to the human body, and even how to damage internal organs and body systems. Iridium Star's combat techniques even include moves developed through the study of bioelectricity and biomagnetic fields, ultimately aiming to disrupt bodily functions and cause instant shock in people.
Compared to giant warships and heavy artillery, these combat techniques are minor in the military field. Since their developnt, Iridium Star's martial techniques have never been intended for physical fitness or chivalry; the purpose of Iridium Star people learning martial arts is to kill.
Bai Zhongqi was killing, killing Teizene people. The Chancellor had long lost much of his remorse for taking lives, as he had beco accustod to the various practices in the universe. He had seen Iridium Star people suppress the native inhabitants of planets, and watched Teizenes devour mbers of the Primate Clan whole. Once one acquires a taste for sothing so intense, it isn't easy to revert to sothing milder.
Should thousands die just for being labeled "Inferior Civilization"? Should such a painful price be paid?
Yes, Bai Zhongqi now understood more clearly why the universe was a place of severe speciesism. No civilization shows rcy to those who belittle or insult them, but has trouble justifying their actions to their own people. The most important thing for a civilization to survive and thrive is self-identification. Say the wrong words, do the wrong thing, and there is a price to be paid.
Bai Zhongqi crushed the bones of the last Teizene soldier, and the Teizene soldiers following him dared not continue their charge. They even brought out heavy weapons, but were unable to harm the man in front of them in the slightest. Your next journey awaits at My Virtual Library Empire
Ling approached with a playful simper, cooing to Bai Zhongqi, "Your Majesty, I'm being ignored here, they think you're a true god of killing, but have no idea it's because I wrapped you in a shield that you're invulnerable. These Teizene people have not seen a Star Warrior, it seems. They do not understand the power of Star Energy."
Bai Zhongqi ignored her and asked, "When will the Erald Boat arrive?"
"Estimated ti of arrival is in 5 minutes and 43 seconds."
"Alright, let's get ready to leave."
By the ti Bai Zhongqi departed on the Erald Boat, Ounian Port orbiting Ounian Star was already riddled with holes. As the Sacred Falcon and other warships disengaged from their docks, they imdiately turned their guns toward the Spaceport which was not small by any ans. In fact, Ounian Port's defensive cannons had launched a fierce barrage as soon as the Star Alliance warships broke free, but it was when the transparent shields rose on the warships that the Teizene realized they were in big trouble.
Watching the battlefield through the porthole of the Erald Boat, Bai Zhongqi saw the Sacred Falcon's ultra-heavy high-energy laser cannon fire, piercing a huge hole through the massive structure of Ounian Port, creating a gaping hole on its surface, from one side you could directly see the surface of Ounian Star.
Let alone the firepower of the Sacred Falcon-level, even the firepower of a Tai'a Class Frigate was too much for the Spaceport to handle. Under precise fire control, all defensive cannons of the Spaceport itself were targeted and destroyed by the Escort Ships.

"Captain, the Teizene's cruiser fleet is heading in our direction, estimated contact in 3 hours," rang out the particularly spirited voice of a young girl on the bridge.
Captain Wang Duidui, with his mouth agape and eyes filled with the desire for battle, shouted, "Jilin, let's give these damn Teizene fools a warm welco."
A holographic image with golden short hair, blue eyes, and a small torch-like prop in hand sprung up and said to Wang Duidui, "Captain, your language contains sexual innuendo, and it's highly inappropriate. You do realize that the Supre Command and our beloved Chancellor can hear all the crap you're spouting, right?"
Comrade Captain Wang Duidui's face fell as he said, "Jilin, can you not broadcast that part in the future? I only qualified for this Captain position after retaking the exam twice. If the Universe Army's Discipline Departnt pulls up for this, you might not have to keep you company anymore."
The warship AI Jilin looked disgusted, "Without you, Jilin might perform even better. After all, as a Captain, aside from the few monts of amusent you provide when playing the fool, your performance is below standard, second to last in fact."
With eyes brimming with tears, Wang Duidui pointed to another escort ship outside the window, and cried, "Heavens, why was I assigned such an unsympathetic ship's spirit? Look at Miss Zhuhai, how gentle, adorable, and empathic she is."
Jilin's holographic cheeks puffed up like buns, then the image disappeared, "Hmph, I'm not dealing with you, a scumbag Captain."
Wang Duidui had failed the Captain's qualification exam three tis, finally passing as the second to last in his batch. The top ten of each batch were typically assigned to cruisers. At that mont, Wang Duidui started to plead, "Ah, co on, Jilin my beauty, let bygones be bygones. Please co out and help. If we get into a fight with the Teizene, I won't be able to handle the whole warship without your automated command."
Almost every Star Alliance warship was under-crewed at that point, like Wang Duidui's Jilin Escort Ship, which only had a crew of forty. Such warships relied mainly on the AI for automatic combat, with the Captain serving largely in a decision-making role and the crew responsible for maintenance and acting as a second line of defense.
Wang Duidui knew Jilin wouldn't actually throw a tantrum during combat. While every A-class AI had been given emotions and a personality, their essential nature was still to follow orders. The command chain for a warship AI was three-tiered: at the base was the Supre Command, then ca directives from the Universe Army's Joint Command, and finally orders from the Captains of the ships.
At that mont, Wang Duidui felt that being a Captain didn't really involve much technical skill, and he couldn't understand why such a difficult test was required to qualify for the position. Glancing at the ship's monitoring screens, the most excited ones seed to be the crew in the weapons departnt, who were yelling joyfully. Perhaps the crew reflects the leader; Wang Duidui's weapons personnel acted like college students playing video gas in their dorm, operating the Jilin's various cannons, and firing wildly at the spaceport.
Such behavior naturally caught the Chancellor's attention.
A minute later, Wang Duidui had his first direct conversation with Bai Zhongqi.
"Jilin, pay attention to your firepower efficiency. We didn't ask you to bombard the spaceport just so you can set off fireworks."
"Uh, yes, Your Majesty."
