Bai Zhongqi was by no ans the type to sacrifice himself to save others, but he was also definitely not the cold-blooded type. In his view, danger was a matter of probability, and engaging in an activity might result in disaster, but it could also have no consequences at all. To overco risks, one needed to increase the probability of safety.
"Calculate the possible trajectories of asteroid fragnts that might collide with the Sacred Falcon and the Richelieu."
"Develop targeted plans."
This was by no ans an easy task. The asteroid fragnts, propelled by the energy emitted from a supernova explosion, numbered in the billions and varied in size and initial speed, each producing different levels of force. More complex was the gravitational interactions among the fragnts, which made their trajectories even more unpredictable.
To simulate such a large-scale model in an extrely short amount of ti required the use of a high amount of computational power. After deriving the results of the computations, a plan needed to be devised to overco the crisis.
As a massive battleship cruiser, the maneuverability of the Sacred Falcon was not very strong. It could not perform quick turns or rapid evasive maneuvers, so unless it was an exceptionally large and dangerous asteroid fragnt, the Sacred Falcon would not avoid it but would use onboard weapons to destroy it.
The problem was also that the almost scrapped Richelieu had lost its ability to move and could only be approached by the Sacred Falcon. Without the ability to move, and with its weapon systems damaged, the Richelieu could only rely on the Sacred Falcon to cover it from various dangers.
Bai Zhongqi's solution was to have the crew of the Richelieu directly enter universe lifeboats and eject from the ship. Lifeboats were essential equipnt for any spacecraft, not complicated in construction but powerful in function. They could imdiately put anyone entering into a cryogenic state, slowing down bodily functions. With the technology of Iridium Star, the crew mbers entering the lifeboats could be cryogenically preserved for over five hundred years without dying. The lifeboats could float in the universe, send out distress signals, and even possess so mobility to facilitate landing on a planet if they ca close to one, increasing the chances of survival.
A large number of lifeboats were released, and Bai Zhongqi could directly use a program on the Sacred Falcon to tow these nearly three hundred lifeboats into the Sacred Falcon.
On one hand, three hundred small-sized lifeboats made the defense of the Sacred Falcon even more complex and difficult. On the other hand, although there might be unavoidable casualties, this way, Bai Zhongqi could save as many Star Alliance Universe Army crew mbers as possible.
At that mont, Bai Zhongqi, with a mind free from distractions, fully took over the half-scraped Richelieu's weapon systems with the Supre Command and joined in striking the asteroid fragnts flying all around in space.

An extrely terrifying brightness spread throughout the universe. The high-speed asteroid fragnts skimd by the ships like dense raindrops, yet they were deadly raindrops from hell. Hundreds of guns aboard both the Sacred Falcon and the Richelieu fired wildly at different targets, continuously destroying threatening ones.
At this ti, Chi Jia was no longer stubborn. He could not argue with Bai Zhongqi, whose orders he had to follow, as arguing would only waste ti pointlessly and might cost a crew mber's life.
Chi Jia shouted loudly within the warship's broadcast system, "All crew mbers, imdiately follow the operational protocols and use the automatic guide to go to the nearest lifeboat, and once inside, launch imdiately!"
Every Iridium Star Warship would not concentrate their escape pods in one location; instead, they placed a great many of them all over different compartnts, generally right below the regular operations deck. The advantage of this is that crew mbers in different parts of the warship could access the escape pods imdiately, increasing their chances of survival.
Chi Jia also jumped into the escape pod beneath his feet, as did the other crew mbers in the bridge. Each crew mber might not have worn their Individual Armor, but their uniforms were embedded with smart devices. After quantification and plan calculations, the system would uniformly arrange which crew mber should enter which escape pod at which location. This prevented scrambling and made the entire escape process smoother.
The mont the escape pod closed, two streams of white gas shot out within it, scanning Chi Jia from head to toe, creating a sterile environnt in a simple manner. Next, the sleep gas was released, and freezing began, with the life-forms inside very close to zero. Yet, they were still alive, and once thawed, they could resu normal lives.
One by one, escape pods were ejected from the Richelieu, becoming more mindful as they maneuvered the Sacred Falcon's weapons, careful that stray shots might harm their own people from the Star Alliance. More protection targets did not throw the Sacred Falcon into disarray, but it made it exceedingly difficult to secure all the escape pods.
One ejected escape pod collided with a piece of small celestial debris upon departure. Although there was no explosion, Bai Zhongqi knew clearly that the people inside could not have survived.
Fortunately, most of the escape pods, after being ejected, were in the correct position and orbit, and were not hit by debris. All the escape pods, following guidance from the Sacred Falcon, started to slowly approach the Battleship Cruiser.
Bai Zhongqi stood in the warship's bridge commanding this rescue operation, his mind constantly calculating and simulating, pondering how best to protect these crew mbers.
"Adjust positioning, have the Sacred Falcon move behind the Richelieu," he said.
Ling was slightly surprised as he spoke, "Your Majesty wants to use the wreckage of the Richelieu to shield us from debris? But the Richelieu isn't big enough to fully shield us."
"It doesn't matter. Whatever it can block is beneficial. The Sacred Falcon still has its Energy Shield, not fearing ordinary celestial debris. If we have the Richelieu as cover, we can protect a lot of lives," Bai Zhongqi replied.
Understanding Bai Zhongqi's intention, Ling imdiately adjusted the warship's direction and headed toward the rear of the Richelieu. The change in the position of the towing ship caused other escape pods to alter their direction as well.
As more and more escape pods began boarding the Sacred Falcon, Bai Zhongqi breathed a sigh of relief. When all the crew mbers from the escort ship were aboard the vessel, Bai Zhongqi imdiately shouted:
"Detonate the Richelieu, use it to cover our exit from here!"
