Ever since approaching the Infia sea area, Felix's brow had never relaxed. The recent dispatch of the Wind Elent Mage Yiyunya, who unexpectedly did not return, cast a shadow over his heart. As a commander, he disliked such unknowns. Yet the accompanying mages, over a dozen of them, remained unalert.

The mages, with their esteed status, wouldn't share a warship with the dirty, slly sailors but had their own special large cruise ship. This ship was not heavily ard because the mages themselves were the most powerful weapons. There was ample fresh water, various entertainnt tools, and a considerable number of attendants—all to make the mages' journey more comfortable.

Even with the potential for battle to erupt at any mont, the mages wouldn't miss their dining tis. On the spotless deck, a lavish dining table was set where they sat together to enjoy a lunch fare far more sumptuous than what the officers had.

It was the misfortunate Yiyunya who had been sent out, after all, she was the only Wind Elent Mage here.

Music played, drinks flowed freely, and the mages were quite rry.

But regrettably, at this very mont, soone ca to disturb the esteed mages' refined mood. Suddenly, a young sailor at the bow shouted, "There seems to be soone in the sky."

The leader of the Mage Corps, the esteed Light Elent Mage Clent, said dismissively, "Is it Yiyunya coming back? The lady has really had a tough ti."

However, the young sailor exclaid in alarm, "It's not Lady Yiyunya, there are many people in the sky, flying so fast!"

Clent then took on a slightly more serious tone, "Enemy Wind Elent Mages? Unexpectedly, on the Southern Continent, one can still see a Mage Corps composed of Wind Elent Mages."

In the Northern Continent nations' military operations, mages are a strategic unit. When a good number of mages co together, a Mage Corps is ford. This is not a military unit per se but actually a departnt where mages self-manage within the military—more akin to a guild of high-level technicians within a company.

For a military commander to make use of the power of mages, negotiations with the Mage Corps are essential.

Clent was a Mage, with extraordinary strength, and aside from the sowhat threatening Wind Blade, Wind Elent Mages needed to be promoted to Mage before they could use destructive magic like tornadoes. Clent's Light Elent magic, however, could enhance other mages and even boost ordinary soldiers, making enhancent-type Light Elent Mages the most welcod by the military.

A Fire Elent Mage, eager to try, Clent smiled and said, "Please, Mr. Shadis, take the lead."

The Fire Elent Mage laughed heartily, pulling a wand from his sleeve. This mage, while not as skilled as Ousaisi, had Star Energy within him that was even more vigorous than that of Ousaisi, the Fire Elent Mage. He chanted an incantation and, with a pointing of his wand, unleashed a fire dragon.

The fire dragon's presence was impressive, but in actuality, neither its speed nor the temperature of its flas were remarkable. An approaching Marine Corps mobile infantryman was not fooled by this and simply perford a graceful flip to avoid the Fire Dragon Technique, which wouldn't have caused him much harm anyway.

"Star Warrior spotted!"

"Comnce capture!"

The Dragonfly Drones flying near the cruise ship had already sent a detailed feed to the leading Marine Corps assault squad commander. The Northern Continent mages, who valued their status highly, donned conspicuous mage robes. With everyone at the table clad in robes of various colors, the assault squad commander made a quick decision to send all his warriors down to seize them.

Over twenty mobile infantryn sward in, and only then did Clent begin to panic sowhat. A dozen mages each perford their magic, but with limited power, even if they hit the mobile infantryn, they couldn't cause damage.

The mobile infantryn, however, fired tranquilizer darts, knocking down these mages who monts ago were full of pride.

Like raptors on the hunt, the chanized infantry swooped down one by one, seizing a mage and then soaring into the sky, while the rest of the people on the ship didn't dare to resist. The once proud and commanding mages were like helpless little kittens in front of these silver-armored soldiers, and it was useless for anyone else to intervene.

Upon seeing more than twenty flying silver-armored soldiers ambushing the mages' cruise ship, the Black Flag Fleet Commander, Felix, was shocked to his core.

"No wonder Infia fell without a sign of life, is it really because of a group of such powerful mages? They look like wind elent users, but why can they fly so fast?" Felix thought he understood sothing.

He knew that if the enemy possessed so many powerful mages, his Black Flag Fleet, without the aid of a Mage Corps, would be on a suicide mission attacking Infia. The Marshal made a snap decision and imdiately ordered his fleet to retreat.

But it was already too late.

His officer Jiye, trembling, pointed at the sky and cried out in panic, "Marshal, what is that?"

Felix looked up and saw a scene he would never forget in his lifeti.

Four huge tal ships, floating in the air, these tal ships were rectangular and not particularly aesthetically pleasing, but Felix could feel an atmosphere of grim determination emanating from the cold sci-fi tallic shells.

Each of the tal ships had a section missing on the front, where two gun barrels were mounted. Felix was certain that these were extrely dangerous weapons!

The Iridium Star Railgun wasn't just a crude pair of tracks; to reduce the friction between the projectile and the tracks, the Iridium Star railgun actually launched projectiles suspended in a magnetic field, with the gun barrels actually being fixtures to stabilize the rails and confine the magnetic field, not true gun barrels.

The 1WM lightweight Railgun, when used in a support combat role, could be set to a mode with smaller firepower but a higher rate of fire. A single Railgun could fire 2000 rounds per minute, with each projectile weighing around one kilogram but possessing the power equivalent to the impact of a 155mm howitzer with a large explosive warhead.

When the four ard landing crafts appeared in the sky, all the officers and soldiers of the Black Flag Fleet were struck dumb, unable to utter a word. Even if the four ships were rely hovering in midair, the pressure they brought was still terrifying.

The officers were stunned, with no one instructing the crew below to take action. The gunners did not even bother to load ammunition into the cannons, because they had no way of shooting the projectiles into the air. Everyone seed to be waiting, as an eerie silence spread throughout the Black Flag Fleet.

Only Felix, with eyes nearly popping out of his head, yelled furiously, "You idiots, start the ships, turn the helm, get us out of here, out of here!"

As he was shouting, the cannons of the four Floating Warships in the sky began to turn. Those who could see clearly at that mont went crazy, sailors hurriedly jumped into the water from the deck, so even climbed out of their cannon positions to escape the warship.

Hum!

The dull sound was different from that of cannon fire. The projectile shot through the air and struck below the waterline of a warship sailing ship over a thousand tons. The exploding projectile instantly tore a huge hole in the hull of the warship, blasting from below the waterline up to the deck, causing the now incomplete ship to capsize!

Hum, hum, hum!

More projectiles cut through the air, all of them targeting below the waterline of the warships. The intensity of the firepower, like a teor shower, suddenly brought hell upon the heads of every single person from Shangduohan.
