Editors and Proof Reader: Dervish (others are missing for the ti being since I was not available for long ti)
After going through the notifications one more ti, Fu Yan closed the panel and then shifted his attention towards the Library.
He glanced at the workers who were busy going through their daily chores and sat down on his chair.
He was running his brain at full speed and after burning so brain cells, he decided that he will not appoint the personal assistant imdiately and wait for so ti. Even though he had decided that he would choose Casper as one of the assistants, he still decided to wait for a while.
After concluding this, he took a deep breath and then stood up. Walking out of Librarian's desk, he strode towards Nir, who was still standing where Fu Yan left him.
When he was about to call Nir, he saw Casper working on the bookshelf next to him, and then after thinking for a bit, he walked towards him.
Casper, who was busy with his work, suddenly felt that soone was walking towards him and looked up. When he saw Fu Yan, he imdiately put down the books and greeted him.
"Sir, You should have called if you needed instead of coming here yourself."
Fu Yan shook his head and replied.
"No, I was just passing by when I saw you."
Then after pausing for a bit, Fu Yan continued.
"Since there was a big rumble in the Library a while ago you might have also got the information regarding adding a new knowledge section in the Library."
Casper imdiately nodded and replied with a smile.
"Yes, sir. I was also there but did not want to disturb you or disrespect the senior workers so I choose not to congratulate you there."
Fu Yan smiled upon hearing this and gave a satisfactory nod.
"Ok, I understand. Anyway since you were there, you must have also heard about getting a slot for a personal assistant. I just wanted to inform you that I plan to give this position to you but it's not official yet. I just want you to be ntally prepared and when you get this position, you better be prepared for it."
Casper trembled a little with excitent upon hearing this. He never thought of getting this position because he was just an inexperienced worker here. There were many more, who were more qualified than him. After thinking for a mont, Casper gave a deep bow and said with a humble tone.
"Sir, although I am glad that you want to choose for this important position and that you are placing your trust in , I myself feel that I do not qualify for this position. There are many more experienced workers here who know more about the Library and they can help you better. If you give this position to , I would not be able to fully utilize the powers given to ."
Fu Yan looked at Casper with a cold face for a while and a warm smile slowly crept over it.
"I was not wrong in choosing you. Even though there were so doubts in my mind before now, I am more than confident in choosing you as my assistant. You do not hunger for power and know your limits. These are the basic qualities of an assistant. So I won't regret choosing you."
Fu Yan stopped after saying this and then looked at Casper who was standing in front of him in a humble pose.
"But, since you think there are others who are better than you, then I will choose soone else."
When Casper heard this, his eyes shook for a mont but then returned to calm. Fu Yan saw this and continued.
"I will choose soone else but I will choose you, too. I have two slots for personal assistants so one of them will be for you. As for the other slot, ti and performance will decide who it will belong to."
Casper looked at Fu Yan with open eyes and a trace of shock could be seen in his eyes as well as a flash of excitent.
He hurriedly gave a bow and replied with an excited voice.
"I will be your eternal servant my lord. I will dedicate my life to you and will remain your humble servant."
Fu Yan smiled upon hearing this and said.
"OK, I will appoint you as my personal assistant when I co back later. I will also announce it to the other workers at that ti."
Casper gave a bow and nodded upon hearing this.
Fu Yan turned around after this and walked towards Nir. Upon reaching Nir, he spoke with a gentle voice.
"Nir, let's go. I will take you to my planet. Even though the environnt there is different from your ho plane, I am sure that you will like it there."
Nir gave a slight bow and said with a neutral tone.
"As you wish, Master. I live to serve you. Even if I don't like sothing, for Master, I am willing to desire it and spend my life alongside it."
Fu Yan shook his head when he heard this. He really did not want to treat Nir as a slave but Nir's mind was set on it.
Thinking about how he might change Nir's ntality, Fu Yan took his hand and was about to teleport back to earth when suddenly one thing ca into his mind.
He looked at Nir and then turned towards Casper.
"Casper! Co here."
When Casper heard this, he imdiately stopped whatever he was doing and made his way towards Fu Yan.
"Master! Your orders!"
Fu Yan did not pay attention to the way Casper spoke and ordered.
"Imdiately compare "Anuvis" and "Earth's" atmosphere and see if there is any difference between the two."
Casper took the order and then started to tap in the air in front of him. After a while, he gently swiped in the air and then looked at Fu Yan.
"Master, the atmosphere of "Earth" and "Anuvis" are similar to each other but the amount of hydrogen and Neon are higher on "Anuvis" and the oxygen levels are way lower than "Earth". The residents of "Anuvis" will find it difficult to adapt to the "Earth's" environnt" and prolonged stay can lead to oxygen poisoning."
Fu Yan let out a sigh when he heard this and wiped away the non-existent sweat from his forehead.
'Fortunately, I thought about it before going back to earth with Nir.'
After hearing what Casper said, Fu Yan let him get back to work and then opened the Library mall. He chose a liquid dicine that can help others adapt to a different environnt without harming the body. Fu Yan looked at the price and decided to buy it after taking a glance at Nir.
After paying 2200 credits for the liquid, Fu Yan gave it to Nir to let him drink it when he reaches earth.
Fu Yan wondered about the reason why this dicine was so expensive and ca to understand that it was really a big deal to be able to adapt to any environnt without harming the body. So the price was justified.
Closing the mall window, Fu Yan took Nir's hand and teleported back to earth.
He appeared in the sa computer room where he left, but this ti he had soone else with him.
The mont they appeared in the room, Nir followed Fu Yan's instructions and imdiately opened the dicine bottle and gulped down the liquid in it.
After that, he took a deep breath and started to report his body situation to Fu Yan.
"Master, even though I am having difficulty breathing as compared to when we were on my planet or in the Library, this feeling is slowly dissipating."
Fu Yan let out a sigh of relief and then shifted his attention towards the computer in front of him.
"Qing! How was everything when I was gone? Also how much ti has passed since my departure."
The computer screen in front of him suddenly lit up and Qing's voice sounded in the room.
"Welco back Big brother. Everything has been normal since your departure and it's been 8 days since you left. Would you like to see logs?"
