"The Grayfig Family must die."
Alex was amazed by the sudden transformation. He thought Adrian would be one of those guys that actually backstabbed their sister at the last mont, pretending to change to lower her guard. At that ti, he planned to interfere, though. But fortunately to him, he didn't need to do that.
'Such a complicated family… At the very least, it's not going to be ruined by such a person…' Alex thought, observing the situation.
Adrian glanced at Alex and realized he was the one saving his sister. However, he ignored him for a mont and faced his sister with a serious expression.
Before saying anything, he took out the sa token as the one she gave earlier and handed it together with her token. "This is yours. I am not qualified to be the Patriarch. I am afraid that I will repeat the sa mistake, and I have also tried to kill you. Besides, I have officially failed Father's test."

Just like that, she shoved back the tokens into his hands before leading Alex to her courtyard to hide him there.

Listening to him, she smiled and waved her hand without facing back. She kept going until she disappeared from his eyes.
At the sa ti, Adrian stared at Alex's back with a mysterious expression before looking back at the two spies from the Grayfig Family that wanted to kill them.
They would surely suffer before dying as Adrian planned to torture them for information and attacking them.
anwhile, Alex smirked when he watched how these two made up. "I wonder whether your brother can handle the Grayfig Family well…"
"Don't worry. He should be able to handle them well, albeit he will surely get beaten after this." She chuckled. "That's my idiot younger brother… What can I say?"
Alex shrugged. "Yeah. But if their second young master is like the one we give credit for, I bet he is going to use this confusion as a way to eliminate either of you. After all, your brother hasn't stabilized his power yet, considering there might be many more spies under him."
"Yeah. It will be either tonight or tomorrow. I am sorry for dragging you into this."
"I have agreed to the terms. If they co, let handle them." Alex shrugged.
"It's fine. I plan to et my father after this and have him increase the security. Keep your sword sheathed for now." She shook her head. Alex let out a sigh. He wanted to destroy them because he didn't want a potential enemy tailing on where he didn't notice. Martial Saints were like ants to him, but at the sa ti, he couldn't do it because he had sealed his strength and chose to live this way. "Alright."

"It's alright." Alex waved his hand and inspected the place with his Spirit Eyes. Even though she said it was quite remote, he found a rank 8 Gathering Array. There were a few more things that he noticed, but it wasn't as big as the Gathering Array.
She then led him toward the main room, where she talked to the people who ca here. "This is the main room. I will make you a tea first before going to my father. Is that alright?"
Alex didn't reject her.
He stared at her this whole ti, watching how she moved smoothly around this place as if she could see them perfectly. Alex could sense the Sword Domain as the generalized position, but if many things gathered in the sa place, even he would be confused.
However, Aria certainly didn't get confused by that, so it made him wonder how powerful her senses are.
"That's right. One more question. What if my father wants to et you?"
"Can I reject?"
"I will reject it for you then." She nodded. She then left the room, leaving Alex alone.
Alex thought for a mont and summoned Njomo. "Can you stay hidden inside her shadow?"
He looked at Alex for a second and nodded before vanishing.

He activated his Spirit Eyes and found a man coming toward him. At the sa ti, he found this energy was similar to the one he saw earlier.
Because of that, he decided to not move and waited until that person opened the door.

The one who appeared was none other than Adrian. However, his right cheek was like that of a squirrel as he seed to have just been beaten by a certain soone.
Still, Alex felt that this guy had a clear mind again as he didn't feel any weird sensation coming from him, which usually brought him trouble.
"We have t again. I am sorry for barging." Adrian clasped his hand politely. For whatever reason, Alex had saved his sister's life, so there was no way he would be rude toward Alex.
"Co in." Alex nodded while observing his expression. "Do you want to talk about sothing?"
"Yes." He nodded but didn't co toward Alex. Instead, he stood still in front of the door and asked, "May I know—No, this is not important. The more important thing is… I want to thank you for saving my sister's life and stopping from doing sothing that I will regret for the rest of my life."
Alex raised his eyebrows slightly and said, "I was just passing by at that ti, so it was pure luck."
"Even so, I still need to thank you."
"Then I receive your thanks." Alex nodded.
He then stared at Alex for a mont and asked, "May I know what kind of thing happened during that ti?"
"Have you asked her?"
"She probably won't tell anything."

Alex didn't know what kind of future he would have if he were teleported to this world first.
